One only had to see the reaction of CNN panel after the debate, Biden was finished, it was not a politican that started the ball rolling, it was the stalwart Democratic actor George Cloony who had been at a Biden fundraiser that raised over 30 million dollars who said that Biden should leave the race, in this he was followed by former Speaker Nancy Pelosi, both Schumer and Pelosi were afraid that Biden would lose the White House, House and the Senate.  In the end VP Harris lost All three, if Biden had not run, there is chance that Trump would not have won.  History would have been kinder to Biden, but that is What If? of history.   On Monday Trump becomes the 47th President of the USA.

This endless face of voting and voting has to come to an end, for once Former President Trump could be of use, he should threaten to support any candidate that challenges the Republican Rebels if they do get a move on.  It seems that Kevin McCarthy will have no power if he gets the gavel, he is making concessions ALL OVER THE PLACE.  The role of Speaker is only as powerful as the Speaker, if the Speaker can be thrown out at any time by any member it leads to chaos in the political process.  The Democrats do not get away from blame either, they could support some of their members getting to vote with the Republicans, no deals, just the right thing to do, think the TV show, West Wing on LSD, of course that will never happen, the costs are to much, and any deal like that would FALL apart as the Republicans still have 218 seats, a 4 seat majority.  Another long day then, get out the coffee.

The last few days have been a disaster for the Republicans, the Democrats have come across as united when they are not, and the Biden Oval must be thinking that a Republican Congress will not be that BAD, if this is the way they behave to each other.  There are only so many concessions you can give as Speaker or it is pointless to have the job, if you go to talks with POTUS, he knows that you might have real difficulties in getting anything through the House Republicans never mind the Congress.  The arch problem is that the Trump supporters are no longer listening to him, they have gone rogue, and have gone off the reservation, how does the former President get them under control again, he should threaten to support any candidate against those that remain rouge, his influence might be low State wide but in the Republican Primary his can be the support that pushes a candidate pass the winning line.  These endless votes cannot go on, nothing can be done on the Hill without a Speaker.

The House Democrats must be having fun, seeing the Republicans tear themselves apart, they should worry also, if the Party gets a Republican Speaker, that does not mean Kevin McCarthy or it might be him,  he will have to follow the wants of the extreme right, thus a lot of Congressional investigations in to Afghanistan and Hunter Biden.  Down the road the Biden Oval will be looking at moderate Republicans who might vote with the Democrats on different parts of the Biden Agenda, and to see how they can get these Republicans to agree to go against the party will.  One hopes that after a good night's rest and some deals in smoke filled rooms, the Republican Party can nominate a Speaker who can get 218 votes.  It is always good to have oversight of the a Administration, the Democrats allowed the Biden Oval to get away with its disastrous Afghanistan policy and showed no interest in Hunter Biden.  It could be a long day, it's fun watching the sausage ( how politics really works ) as its being made.  That is why US politics is so fun, and now the Yanks cannot complain about our three PM's in a year and our mini budget.

This is not the way it was meant to go, the Republicans should have had a good majority after the Mid Terms, the actual result gave the Republicans the House but by a small majority of 4.  The right wing freedom caucus is making the supposed Speaker earn their votes, it is a question of how much power McCarthy will have at the end, if he gets through this stage.   If your a sane Republican you want to get the House to investigate, Afghanistan, Hunter Biden, and even later down the line, if there is enough evidence to impeach Joe Biden himself.  Let's recall the Democrats impeached Trump twice, once was enough, it shows what can be achieved if a party stays to together, the Biden Oval will be looking to Republican moderates to get some or anything of their agenda through over the next two years, thus a battle royal in the NOW Republican majority.  Let's not forget that the 2024 race has started, it is expected that POTUS will state early that he is running again in 2024, thus the game is afoot.

The Ukraine President will be wanting carry on the relationship with the Biden Oval but also make an impression on the in coming Republican majority in the House.  It is clear that Trump supporters in the Republican Majority want to scale back the money and military kit that the US gives to the Ukraine.  Thus the Ukrainian President will have to bring his top game to his meetings with Biden and to the speech before the US Congress.  There are still Reagan Republicans and moderates, who have not fallen in line with Trump, also by recent polls is a busted flush, a LOSER BIG TIME.  The US and the Ukraine Presidents meeting will upstage Putin, the Kremlin is still going on with its WAR in the Ukraine and blaming the West, there hardly seems any real opposition to Putin in Russia, not many stories of people going out in the street to protest the WAR on the Ukraine, it only happened at the start of the War and when Putin called up men to fight in the Ukraine.  It seems it will take a Court Coup to get rid of Putin, his very rich friends have seen what happens to those that oppose Putin, either they end up DEAD by falling through windows or they find that their assets and taken away from them, or they end up in jail.  The all cannot be fleckless cowards!

This is the worse thing the Democrats could have done, the new House Republicans majority will be looking for ways to rubbish the Committee, it had only had Republicans who hate Trump anyway, and its reports will be seen as Partisan by many US voters.  The Democratic House Committee it can be argued has done a good job of showing what President Trump did after the 2020 Election and on January 6th, by adding charges the outgoing Democratic House has lost the plot.  The House Committee is not the US Senate Committee of Senator Ervin that looked into WATERGATE that had Republicans, who's Republicans LOST after a through investigation.  The Biden Democratic Department of Justice, does not need referrals from the US House, in fact it causes problems, if the DOJ does bring charges it will be open to charges that it was forced on it by the Democrats and the Court cases could take years, and God forbid Trump could be President again.  The Democrats have shot themselves in the foot, a bad day for DEMOCRACY, at the end of it all POTUS might have to PARDON Trump as President Ford did for Nixon, that is the way of political reality, in less he wants Court Cases going on through 2024.

As stated by this blog, China has not really responded, military drills at sea and in the air is a way for China to avoid looking weak.  China will NEVER take on Taiwan as long as the US is there to protect it.  The angry noise from Beijing is just NOISE, the Chinese Government would be MAD to take on the US and its Allies.  The US at the moment is facing a Russian invasion of the Ukraine, Iran has the bomb or will get the bomb and it has been speculated that North Korea will have another nuclear test.  The Biden Oval does not need this whining from China, any WAR between China and the US would WREAK the World economy and cause major internal worries for the US and China.  Thus China should be seen as a paper tiger, in both military and economic terms.  Thus one crisis placed in the LONG GRASS, Biden as stated has other worries.

There is no way that China will do anything in military offensive terms, its hardly a Presidential visit by President Biden, any attack on Taiwan or the Speaker's plane would be a matter of extreme risk.  The US will not allow China to run its Foreign Policy, it can be assumed that any US President will defend Taiwan, no matter what China wants or thinks.  Thus what will CHINA do, push North Korea to do a nuclear test, sell US bonds at a loss, China will do something, but nothing close to WAR, they are not that stupid, and are quite risk averse when it comes to the US.  If they do take action ALL BETS are OFF, the Biden Oval would have to react, the security of the US and the West would be at stake, China would not like the result.

This blog made a MISTAKE, the House Speaker is going to Taiwan, this is against the warnings of of the Biden Administration, the Chinese are very sensitive when it comes Taiwan, they see the DEMOCRATIC Island as part of China and there are reports that China is planning to invade the Island within the next few years.  One assumes that the US has made it CLEAR to China they cannot touch the Speaker, that would be a ACT OF WAR, the House Speaker is third in line to the Presidency.  One can assume that the US NAVAL FORCES in the area are on HIGH ALERT.  Let's see the reporting from the AREA, if it irks China, and what they say.  The Biden Oval does not need another crisis to deal with, the Ukraine, Iran and North Korea are enough at the moment.  One is not sure that the Biden Oval can deal with two front WAR with Russia over Ukraine and China over Taiwan.

One doubts that the Speaker of the House of Representatives Nancy Pelosi will visit Taiwan, the Chinese have made it clear that they will take drastic action should the Speaker visit a Country that China sees as a breakaway province of China.  Also the US has enough problems to deal with when it comes to its security, the on going War with the Ukraine and the chance that IRAN will go nuclear, it seems it is a point of no return when it comes to the Tehran Regime, they have or will have enough nuclear material for a bomb, that is something that Israel will never allow, thus this blog would not be shocked to HEAR that Israel and its Gulf Allies have either taken action by them self's or in support of the US, who might have to take action to make sure that Israel does not take action and thus allow for a regional WAR.  Also the Biden Administration is waiting for North Korea to have another nuclear test, thus  placing pressure on the US to do something.  POTUS has a lot on his plate, and time is running out to solve any of them.

CNN had that old Socialist Senator Sanders on, it would be fun to see a Vermont Liberal go to WEST VIRGINA, you would be need the national  guard around him to prevent the eggs being thrown at him!!  Lets recall Senator Sanders on his honeymoon took his new bride to the USSR, he has never come back, that is the OLD JOKE.  One can cannot even call Sanders a Democrat, he has never joined the Democrats, he has moved the Democratic Party to the LEFT, the same path as the House Squad, that should tell you enough about his direction.  The last face the Democrats would want on this issue is his, but then its CNN, they LOST THE PLOT some time ago, it will be interesting how they spin this, and they will spin it, the Party line will be that the US has low unemployment, not seen in 40 years, and Biden passed a infrastructure bill, something the last few Presidents have not done.  But what worries the voter, 1. This is a another BIG WIN for the Biden Oval, but as stated this the first half of a two part game, the Social Agenda Bill NOW goes to the US Senate, the question is will Senator Manchin support the package, he has made it clear that he has problems with MAJOR PARTS of the bill, does he have the courage to VOTE NO and sink the Biden Agenda.  It is well known that parts of the bill will be taken out, will the LIBERALS in the House still support it.  Also when do aspects of the bill affect the voter, will they say that Biden has had a big win or will they say that he has LOST THE PLOT, many who have known Biden for years say that this is not the Biden they know, so he might be gaga or under the influence of the White House staff.  As reported today Biden has transferred power to the VP while he is in the Hospital.  The general view is that Biden will not run for a 2nd term in 2024, he has said he will run, but we shall see after the Mid Terms, good and Biden will run, if they are a disaster and he is blamed he wont run, in fact the Democratic Party will make it clear that he will not get the nomination. The Republics will role with the argument that the Democrats are more interested in their own agenda and not the agenda of the US population.

This is CLEAR warning to the House and Senate members that they should not try to force something down the throat of the Senator after he has made it CLEAR as water that he will VOTE against.  The Liberal Leadership is pandering to the very liberal base of the Democratic Party.  As the Virginian results shows, the suburbs will go back to the Republicans if the DEMOCRATS push their luck to much.   The Biden Oval should try to get back to the deal it has with Senator Manchin before, if they push to much the Senator has made it CLEAR that he could vote no to the whole package, how many warnings do the Democrats need.   As has been shown by Virginia, Candidate Biden was not elected to be the new FDR or LBJ, the voters wanted a normal President, in fact a boring President, anyone than Trump, if the Republicans are smart they could look to the new Governor of Virginia as future nominee for the Party.
