This in effects makes Senators Sinema and Manchin the most powerful Democrats in the US Senate, the Democrats have a nominal  51 to 49 majority over the Republicans, thus if the past is an indicator, these two Senators will not support scrapping the filibuster, thus helping the Republicans to block the Democratic Agenda.   The Senator has been a wildcard for the past few years, she will sit as an Independent in the US Senate, when difficult votes comes up, it will be she and Manchin who decide its fate.  The Republicans should be taking Senator to a lot of dinners, to try to butter her up, and stress the fact that the Democratic Party has gone HARD LEFT with Biden in the White House, and if she wants to get re-elected in 2024 she will need the backing of the Republicans is she cannot win a Democratic Primary.  Thus on the whole not good news for POTUS, he has had a good winning streak, so far, the economy is good when it comes to jobs, it looks like former President Trump wants to be the Republican nominee in 2024, thus far he is burning up his own candidacy, he has gone extreme right, he wants to suspend the US Constitution, and has had a dinner with a racists, he seem to have LOST THE PLOT. One hopes this was done by the Press Secretary and not the Oval, as a Senator for decades Biden must know that he could lose Manchin to the Republicans and then he loses the US Senate, one does not mend bridges or try to get someone to change their mind if you are calling their word no good and a liar.  The Biden Oval should put out another statement, saying the Press Secretary had gone rogue and this was not the view of Biden Oval.  Otherwise Manchin could be a pain in the arse for Biden and other policies.  One has to say that Manchin has been very true to his word, he has never liked the BBB, and he has had regular meetings with POTUS, at the end of the day he went on FOX NEWS, this is a DIRECT MESSAGE to the Biden Oval, try something else!  One can say LBJ and Reagan would have done a better job, so far Biden does not look great and is nowhere near a good or great President as were LBJ on the domestic front, also Reagan.  Also Reagan could keep his troops in line, Biden one presumes has known Manchin for Years, is he that bad at reading people.  To clear the above he needs a new Press Secretary.

CNN had that old Socialist Senator Sanders on, it would be fun to see a Vermont Liberal go to WEST VIRGINA, you would be need the national  guard around him to prevent the eggs being thrown at him!!  Lets recall Senator Sanders on his honeymoon took his new bride to the USSR, he has never come back, that is the OLD JOKE.  One can cannot even call Sanders a Democrat, he has never joined the Democrats, he has moved the Democratic Party to the LEFT, the same path as the House Squad, that should tell you enough about his direction.  The last face the Democrats would want on this issue is his, but then its CNN, they LOST THE PLOT some time ago, it will be interesting how they spin this, and they will spin it, the Party line will be that the US has low unemployment, not seen in 40 years, and Biden passed a infrastructure bill, something the last few Presidents have not done.  But what worries the voter, 1. This is a another BIG WIN for the Biden Oval, but as stated this the first half of a two part game, the Social Agenda Bill NOW goes to the US Senate, the question is will Senator Manchin support the package, he has made it clear that he has problems with MAJOR PARTS of the bill, does he have the courage to VOTE NO and sink the Biden Agenda.  It is well known that parts of the bill will be taken out, will the LIBERALS in the House still support it.  Also when do aspects of the bill affect the voter, will they say that Biden has had a big win or will they say that he has LOST THE PLOT, many who have known Biden for years say that this is not the Biden they know, so he might be gaga or under the influence of the White House staff.  As reported today Biden has transferred power to the VP while he is in the Hospital.  The general view is that Biden will not run for a 2nd term in 2024, he has said he will run, but we shall see after the Mid Terms, good and Biden will run, if they are a disaster and he is blamed he wont run, in fact the Democratic Party will make it clear that he will not get the nomination. If your a moderate in a typical Republican State or a Senator, then you have to ask yourself, will the voters forgive me if I support the Biden Agenda and its big welfare spending, as it is them that will be running, not Pelosi in California or AOC in New York.  Thus it can be postulated that if the Democrats lose the House and Senate in the Mid Terms, WILL Biden run in 2024, of course the Democrats must be praying that Trump enters the race, then they will have a hate figure to get out the base, but what if he does not run, through ill health or he does not like his chances, the Democrats could face a fresh new Republican, let's say for argument sake, the new Governor of Virginia, Glenn Youngkin, he appealed to the Trump base but also got moderates back and the suburbs, you never know.  Thus the Mid Terms will be a fork in the road, for Biden and Trump.

This is a major upset, the pundits said it would be close, but that the Democrat would in the end win, well that didn't happen, the Democrat Candidate Terry McAuliffe, a close friend of the Clintons, stressed that Governor Elect Youngkin was another Donald Trump and stressed abortion rights, while Youngkin stressed local politics, as a famous Democratic Speaker stated, All politics is local. The Democrats seem to have missed that point.  It has been argued that if the US Congress had gotten it act together of the Biden Agenda then McAuliffe would have had a better chance, it can be argued that the Virginia vote is a rejection of the Biden Agenda, moderates in the House should worry, should they support the bigger bill, a welfare bill, protecting people from birth to death, or run other way.   As for Senator Manchin if he wants to he can tell Biden NO, why should he put his SEAT at risk, it can be postulated that Manchin has the upper hand in this relationship.

Someone somewhere on the Hill is smoking a joint, if you read the Guardian Blog, the Biden White House is sure that Manchin will vote for the social agenda, the leaders of the liberals seems to have taken it for granted that Manchin will vote for the social agenda. If you read the remarks by the Senator one gets the impression that he is not keen on the whole social agenda, and if he votes NO its over, or if moves Party its over for the Democrats.  It could be that the liberals have been watching to much CNN or either the White House is lying to themselves and playing the liberals or Manchin is lying to the press.  If I was a real liberal I would want to hear that Manchin is supporting the social agenda, otherwise the President and Manchin get the infrastructure bill and the Senator can walk away from the social agenda, as it is not that popular in his State. It will be interesting to see the liberal media play this, win or loss for Biden.
