Obama WASHING his HANDS of Israel ?

Telegraph: Reports that the President Obama could wash his hands of Israel and send the issue of Israel and the formation of a Palestinian State to the international community, this would be a conference of the US, EU, UN and Russia. One word folks, CONGRESS, this is not going to happen, the House and the Senate will overturn any Obama move that has a negative effect on Israel, Obama could threaten Israel but the Congress will overturn any such action by the Oval. Also the Republicans would retake the House and the Senate, the Democrats on the Hill are not going to jump off another cliff for Obama, after health care reform they face the loss of the House and a threat to the Senate, they are not going to add to their problems, one can postulate that the Israeli Lobby will be out in force on the Hill, the US political system is based on fundraising for the next Campaign, the system these days is in constant campaign mode, an important state in recent Presidential Elections has been Florida, as one will recall with the 2000 election, in Florida there are a lot of older Americans, a lot of these are of the Jewish faith, thus Obama could see the Israeli lobby out in force in 2010 and 2012, Democrats will not allow Obama to sell out Israel as he sold out the Poland and the Czech Republic.

Cameron Big WIN - UK General Election

Iain Dale's Diary: The Conservative blogger Iain Dale calls the 3rd debate for David Cameron, Mr Dale states the following, " ....a Cameron decisive win tonight, ". The instant polls after the debate confirm this verdict, as stated this blog did a live tweets for the debate and called the debate for Mr Cameron. But it will be interesting to see the polls over the weekend, can the Conservative Party get to that magic 40% mark in the polls, can the Labour Party hold its core vote of around 28%, will the LibDems hold on to their poll rating of around 30%. Its not over folks, but Labour needs a game changer, something, otherwise the New Labour project is over, the Labour Party could be finished as a force in English politics.

Brown OUT ? - Guardian

Guardian: Reports that UK PM Gordon Brown has blown his third debate performance, the left wing Guardian states the following, " last night appeared to have failed in his daunting mission to change the course of the general election during an ill-tempered leaders' debate...". It seems that Guardian has seen the light, or in other words want to start out nice with the next Conservative Government, thus throwing PM Brown to the Wolfe's, it can be postulated that the Guardian can see either a majority Conservative Government on Thursday or a minority Conservative Government, but it does not really matter, it will be Conservative, thus the paper wants to get its calls returned, good PR move by the Guardian.

3rd UK PM Debate - Review

BBC News: Reports on the third UK PM debate. Having done a live tweet of the debate this blogger found that the Conservative Leader David Cameron had won the debate. Mr Cameron came across as honest, the leader of change, also appealing to the needs of voters when it comes to their concern about immigration in to the country and the cost of the EU on UK finances. Mr Clegg had a hard time with the immigration question, he seems to want to open the door to all to come in to the UK. As for PM Brown the economic debate was to be his issue, but Mr Brown started quite well, but he got lost in the weeds with his obsession about tax credits, also Mr Brown looked old, one gets the feeling that he is going through the motions, its over, just waiting for the results on Thursday and Friday. Thus final result was a clear win for Mr Cameron, can he form a majority Government is a different question.

Trojan Greece and World

Telegraph: Reports that the economic decline of Greece could spread to the rest of Europe. As stated in this blog the EU should allow Greece to fail, the politicians in Athens have sold out Greece to their own political interests, if the EU bails Greece they will not see the need to reform, better to bankrupt Greece and start again, it will be tough medicine for Greece but they have been through worse, cut the cancer out NOW, then save the patient, the cancer is the debt from Greece, we remove the threat and keep Greece in the future a stable country. Otherwise there will be more bailouts, the UK should not bailout EU countries, their mess let them spend the money. Lets hope the Obama Administration learns the costs of bailouts, its time to cut public spending and save the future for future generations.

Penitent Sinner - UK PM Brown

The Times: Reports on the apology of UK PM Gordon Brown to Mrs Duffy. The real sin by PM Brown is that he has wrecked the economy, the UK is in an endless War in Afghanistan, those are real sins, lets have a SORRY about these issues.

Brown SORRY over Bigot remark - UK General Election

Guy Fawkes Blog: Reports that UK PM Gordon Brown has visited Mrs Duffy to say sorry for his remark calling Mrs Duffy a Bigot. Well folks the first real big mistake of the 2010 Campaign, the question the cost in the ballot box, one can postulate that older Labour voters will ask is the PM Brown calling them a bigot. The question is will this row cause Labour to fall in the Polls, well they are down to their bedrock support, thus its bad but will it cause real harm, have my doubts, just don't bet on PM Brown being PM after May 6th. One other thing that this blog has noticed is that the left wing media is covering for Brown, the usual arguments, we all have done mistakes, we have all said something we regret, its bad that the truth, that PM Brown will be angry with himself. Lets be honest here, PM Brown has called a 65 year old woman, a life long Labour supporter a " Bigoted Woman " he has said sorry but the costs be the head of Brown after May 6th.

Are YOU a BIGOT ? - UK General Election

BBC News: Reports on the comments by UK PM Gordon Brown that a 65 year old woman, a Labour supporter Gillian Duffy was a " bigoted women " for asking about immigration. A lot of older Labour supporters will ask are they a " bigot " for being concerned about Immigration, this could lead to a small Conservative victory.

Hollow Greece

BBC News: Reports that the Credit status of Greece has been downgraded to junk status. In other words any debt owed by the Greek Government will never be repaid, thus if you hold Greek debt this is the time to sell, get out of the market. It was reported in the UK Guardian that Greece would need 150 billion over three years to keep the dogs from the door. It can be argued that Greece should be allowed to fail, this is the only way it will learn that the Government cant be the nanny state, this is the road the UK and the US is following, lets hope the Oval Office is watching Greece and what an out of control debt can do to an ancient civilization, why should the EU and the IMF bail out the bad politicians of Greece, lets allow Greece to fail, sell its assets, we will take the Marbles in the British Museum as down payment, anything else they would like to sell, well sure the British Museum can take them in, some classical buildings in Greece that would nice in London.

Wall Street vs Main Street - Economic Reform

The New York Times: Reports on the successful effort last night by Republicans to block Obama's Reform of Wall Street. The Republicans have argued that the Reform allows for more Government bailout of Wall Street, the issue on the face of it should be a net plus for Obama, but the Republicans have been successful in creating the impression that the Reform Bill is pro Wall Street. The Republicans want to remove a 50 Billion safety net for Wall Street, if the Republicans can create the impression that Obama is all spin and is more pro Wall Street than Main Street this will help in the 2010 Mid Term Elections. The White House has stated that it wants to get rid of the safety net but it is still there, thus one has to ask who is placing pressure on Democrats to keep the safety net, one suspect is Wall Street.

The Dark Prince ATTACKS LibDems

The Times: Reports that the Dark Prince of Spin ( at one time could win elections ) Lord Mandelson has attacked the Lib Dems, he has stated if voters go with Nick Clegg the leader of the Lib Dems they could put David Cameron in to No 10. At one time Lord Mandelson was the King of Spin, the Dark Prince of the political arts, but when the Guru becomes the story then the point of the story losses its impact. The Dark Prince should keep to policy, or keep his mouth shut, he is playing in to the hands of the LibDems, the story will be about Hung Parliaments, not the policy, that is what PM Gordon Brown wants to end his political career on, so let it be policy.

Labour SELLING OUT the NHS

As Today has been about public spending cuts, the Conservative Party has shown how the Labour Party will cut the NHS Budget. The Conservative Party states the following on Labour Plan:

Buried in Government reports, we have uncovered secret plans that could lead to cuts of almost £5 billion in total in the NHS budget.

More than half of hospitals are planning to cut the number of doctors they employ. We have uncovered plans for a net cut of 650 doctors in England.

More than half of hospitals are planning to cut the number of nurses they employ. We have uncovered plans for a net cut of more than 2,000 nurses in England.

NHS West Midlands – the only area to provide regional figures – is on its own planning to cut almost 1,000 nurses.

Three in five hospitals are planning bed cuts. We have uncovered plans for net bed cuts of 1,500 in England.

We have also obtained a copy of the workforce plan of one trust, which shows a four per cent cut in the number of consultants and a ten per cent cut in the number of nurses and midwives.

The Conservative Party will protect the NHS.

UK Economic Cuts - UK General Election

BBC News: Reports that the UK will need deep cuts in public spending if its to get back in to the black, the UK has not seen such public spending cuts since the 1970s/80s. The UK is broke folks, there have to be deep cuts in public spending from the welfare state to defence, if the UK does not make these cuts we will be on the same road as Greece. The problem is that the voter has its head in the sand, it expects others to take the pain of cuts, well folks its time for the UK voter and lets be blunt here folks, to get his/her head our of their backside and face the fact that the good years are over, we are in for very tough times, less government spending, more taxes, it will take years to get back to the good times, thus don't expect tax cuts folks, its going to be a cold few years.

Election Help - UK Election

BBC News: An excellent help for election night folks, an Election seat calculator, allows you to see the % shift and how this effects the seats each Political Party will get on the night, also fun way to check the polls. Read of the Day.

The Battle for Kandahar ?

The New York Times: Reports on the use of American Special Forces in the Afghan City of Kandahar, this is the next major battle for NATO Forces in Afghanistan. The problem for the West is that NATO Forces will have to be in Afghanistan for years to show any real difference, the Obama Administration is planning to take forces out in 2011, thus if your Taliban/Al Qaeda all you have to do is wait out Obama, why fight a war you cant win if the other side is just going to leave. It is beyond debate that NATO forces will win direct one on one fights with the Taliban/Al Qaeda but one has to think of Afghanistan on a strategic level, on that level any Western Force in Afghanistan is going to lose in the long term, the political timetable never matches the military timetable, its just a matter of when we leave Afghanistan and the cost in the loss of Armed Forces Personnel.

Bush 43 Memoirs

Telegraph: Reports that memoirs of Bush 43 will come out in November. The book is of historic importance, it will be interesting to see what Bush 43 thought about his long fight to win the Presidency in 2000, his opinion Bill Clinton, the Bush Administration actions after 9/11 and the failure in Iraq after the invasion and the long War in Afghanistan. One advice to Bush 43 learn from Bill Clinton, don't make it War and Peace, keep to the point and keep it interesting, the liberal NYT will hate it from the start, but this is the chance for Bush 43 to set his own historical record.

The Shadow War in Labour - Redux

The Times: Reports on the growing internal battle within the Labour Party for after the May 6th result, the Home Secretary Alan Johnson is making clear that he has not problem with working with the Liberal Democrats and that he supports reforming the voting system. In other words folks PM Brown is toast, if Labour comes third as expected on May 6th expect Brown to be thrown out and Mr Johnson to try and make a deal with LibDems. The old hands within Labour don't want to see the Conservatives and LibDems working together, this could mean that they could be out of power for a generation, thus they will throw Brown under the Bus to keep power, the game is afoot folks.

The Shadow War - UK Election 2010

Telegraph: Reports on the shadow war within the Labour Party, on one side you have the supporters of PM Gordon Brown who want him to stay as PM after a deal with the LibDems after May 6th and others who want to throw him under the next bus to get a deal with the LibDems after May 6th. The UK voter should take notice of this shadow war, this is the kind of war that will happen after every election should the neither the major Parties gain an overall majority in the House of Commons. If the LibDems from a pact with the Labour Party they will demand reform of the electoral system, this would mean that the LibDems would always be in power, they would always decide who would be the King makers, you could never get rid of them, that is a threat to the UK system. Its a kind of permanent one Party rule. Thus UK voter this is a wake up call, this is your alarm call from the future.

2010 US Mid Term Elections

The Ledger.com: Reports that safe Democratic House seats could be at risk from a Republican take over this year. This is down to one issue folks, health care reform and the Obama White House pushing it down the throats of the US voter. It does not matter on the policy, it was bad, but how the Democrats might have shot themselves in the backside with passing ObamaCare. If Republicans take the House will be the fault of two people, President Obama and Speaker Pelosi, they have but Party before Country folks.

Is Brown a Political Dodo ?

The Sunday Times: Reports that Nick Clegg the leader of the Liberal Democrats has stated that he will not support PM Gordon Brown in No 10 after the General Election. It really depends folks on how the Seats fall in the House of Commons, Mr Clegg just might be getting ahead of himself, the voter and the Labour Party wont like the idea that Mr Clegg thinks that he gets to be the King maker before a single vote is cast in the General Election. This blog still holds to its prediction that the Conservative Party will gain a small overall majority of between five and ten seats. The Liberal Democrats have to careful that they don't give the impression that they have allowed the polls to go to their heads. An HOUR is a very long time in politics folks.

Obama and 1915

The one thing about history is that it can come back and bite you on the backside, the issue of the Armenians that were massacred in Turkey in 1915 during World War One is not a new thorny issue for the Oval Office, even Reagan had problems with the issue in the 1980s. As Candidate Obama, President Obama called the deaths in 1915 a genocide, but POTUS has to deal with Turkey as a NATO ally, and a close friend in the region. The extreme liberal New York Times takes POTUS to task for his more diplomatic approach to Turkey, the President does not call these deaths a genocide, the NYT writes the following, " once again declined to do so on Saturday as he marked the anniversary of the start of the killings. " President Obama in a written statement states the following, " On this solemn day of remembrance, we pause to recall that ninety-five years ago one of the worst atrocities of the 20th century began. In that dark moment of history, 1.5 million Armenians were massacred or marched to their death in the final days of the Ottoman Empire. Today is a day to reflect upon and draw lessons from these terrible events. I have consistently stated my own view of what occurred in 1915, and my view of that history has not changed. ( In other words President Obama still keep to his view that the killings came under the term genocide but does not say that in the statement, for once Obama is right to follow the middle path, it seems to have annoyed the Left in the US and Turkey ) It is in all of our interest to see the achievement of a full, frank and just acknowledgment of the facts. The Meds Yeghern is a devastating chapter in the history of the Armenian people, and we must keep its memory alive in honor of those who were murdered and so that we do not repeat the grave mistakes of the past. I salute the Turks who saved Armenians in 1915 and am encouraged by the dialogue among Turks and Armenians, and within Turkey itself, regarding this painful history. Together, the Turkish and Armenian people will be stronger as they acknowledge their common history and recognize their common humanity. Even as we confront the inhumanity of 1915, we also are inspired by the remarkable spirit of the Armenian people. While nothing can bring back those who were killed in the Meds Yeghern, the contributions that Armenians have made around the world over the last ninety-five years stand as a testament to the strength, tenacity and courage of the Armenian people. The indomitable spirit of the Armenian people is a lasting triumph over those who set out to destroy them. Many Armenians came to the United States as survivors of the horrors of 1915. Over the generations Americans of Armenian descent have richened our communities, spurred our economy, and strengthened our democracy. The strong traditions and culture of Armenians also became the foundation of a new republic which has become a part of the community of nations, partnering with the world community to build a better future. Today, we pause with them and with Armenians everywhere to remember the awful events of 1915 with deep admiration for their contributions which transcend this dark past and give us hope for the future. " As they say in Chicago lets hope Obama has a learned a lesson, it easy on the Campaign trail to make statements about history, more easy if you don't have a clue! Obama is lawyer, he does not have a Degree in International Politics and International History. Thus history has come back to bite Obama on the backside, we have the history from 1915, and also the statements that Obama stated in the Campaign of 08. One doubts Obama has gone beyond his own hubris yet, but lets hope he has learned a lesson from history.

Brown to Lead from the FRONT

BBC News: Reports that UK PM Gordon Brown will take a more active role in the General Election. In the wise words of Yes Minister this is a " Courageous Move ", to the general public this means this is like watching the Titanic go down is low motion, as PM Brown said in the second debate he is not good at PR, and he wants to take centre stage, the Labour Cabinet must wish they had gotten rid of Brown when the had the chance, at this rate this will come third and no be the biggest Party in the House of Commons, Jim Hacker had better voter appeal.

Obama on Iran

It seems that President Obama has finally gotten around to the case of the three Americans being held in Iran since last year. The White House has stated the following on the case, " The United States remains deeply concerned by the case of three American hikers, Shane Bauer, Josh Fattal, and Sarah Shourd, who have been detained in Iran without charge or access to legal representation since July 2009.....we were deeply alarmed to learn from the families today of their physical and emotional state of health. We fear their well-being will suffer even more unless their case is resolved without delay. We strongly believe these urgent developments are additional reasons for the government of Iran to release them immediately.......These three innocent Americans have been in detention in Iran for almost nine months without formal charges or access to legal representation as stipulated in the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights. There is absolutely no justification for their detention, and they should be released without further delay....As always, we urgently call on the Islamic Republic of Iran to resolve the cases of all missing and detained American citizens in Iran, including Robert Levinson who has been missing in Iran since March 2007. " It is simple folks, Iran will not release these hikers, they have seen that if they hold US citizens then Obama sends former President Bill Clinton to get them out, thus the case with North Korea. There is also the point that should Obama allow Israel to take action then these three hikers are toast in brutal terms. That the problems with Obama he might have been elected in Chicago but he has not learned the Chicago way works in the international community, Iran sees Obama as weak, thus they show him their heels when he keeps bowing to them, Iran wants the bomb, and they want US hostages. Lets be honest as of now Iran has all the Aces, Obama is naive and weak, and arrogant, thus while Nero, sorry POTUS fiddles with the health care of Americans, Iran is getting ready to go nuclear, it also hold US citizens as hostages to prevent an attack from the US or Israel. The families of the hikers should expect a long wait or even worse news, sorry but this blog is brutal when it thinks its right.

Financial Reform - Blocked in US Senate

The New York Times: Reports that US Republican Senators have blocked President Obama's financial reform bill in the US Senate, the Republicans argue that its bailout charter for Wall Street. This is a good move by the Republicans, if they can paint Obama as an ally of Wall Street vs Main Street they can use this in the 2010 Mid Term Elections. The US voter is sick to death of Government spending, if the Republicans can make it stick that Obama is funding Wall Street abuse of the tax payer then they could take the House and the Senate. Its an election year folks, everything is fair game, politics never ends, that is the Chicago Way.

Is the UK the next Greece?

BBC News: Reports that Greece has asked the EU/IMF to bail it out of its own financial mess. This could be the future for UK folks if there is a Hung Parliament, the UK voter has to smell the tea, if you vote for a Hung Parliament, which of the political parties are going to make the real cuts that will have to take place, real cuts in benefits and public spending. One gets the impression that the UK voter is having a Mid Life Crisis, but the voter needs to get one fact, the Government cant be the nanny state, it cant solve all your problems, in other words get your head out of your backside and see the the UK is drowning in red ink, there have to be deep and massive cuts in public spending. The Labour idea to increase NI Tax is a job killer, if people vote for young but dim but Mr Clegg they will end up with a Lib Dem/ Lab Pact, in that Pact you will have PM Gordon Brown in power, its that simple and brutal folks, Brown will hold on by his finger nails to the No 10. Thus if you don't want to see the UK like Greece and back in the 1970s see the real world, you have only one option, you might not like it, but its the real world, you have to vote Conservative, otherwise your voting for another five years of Gordon Brown.

Right Call - The UK Debate Last Night

Iain Dale's Diary: The Conservative Blogger calls it for the Conservative Leader David Cameron by a narrow margin. As stated last night in my live tweets of the debate, it was a Cameron win, but the debate was more equal, and Nick Clegg found it hard going when it came to the EU, not a good idea to say that he had worked for the EU in the past, that's the problem with Liberal Democrats they are so extreme pro EU they are out of touch with the voter in the UK. Also it should be noted that the young voter is not an automatic pro EU, in fact they can be very Conservative when it comes to Europe. Also PM Gordon Brown had a good line when it came to the LibDems want to get rid of the the UK's nuclear arsenal, the good line from Brown to Clegg to " Get Real " when it comes to Iran, shows the weakness of the Lib Dems and the real world. The Lib Dems sounded like Neville Chamberlain, they seem to trust Obama to come to the defence of the UK, ask the Czech Republic and Poland if they trust Obama. The best attack came from David Cameron when he called the Labour Party out on its false allegations that a new Conservative Government would cut the benefits to older voters, Brown stated that he not signed off on these political leaflets, rubbish folks, they are even in his own Seat leaflets, in that he is attacking the SNP, but same point. Lets see the polls after a few days, don't trust instant polls, Kerry won the debates in 2004 and still lost the election to Bush 43.

Live Debate Blog

The Key for Blog: DC = David Cameron, Leader of the Conservative Party, Gordon Brown, Leader of the Labour Party, Nick Clegg, Leader of the Liberal Democrats.

Let Brown be Brown - Guardian

Guardian: Interesting article that in essence asks for PM Gordon Brown to be allowed to be Gordon Brown, the article states the following, " Brown is a bruised and bloodied figure, one whose greatest asset might well be his own stubborn resilience...". Lets be honest here folks, PM Brown makes Richard Nixon look like a rock star, even Nixon after the 1960 election got the fact that he had to be good at PR, even those critical of Nixon have admitted that when it came to Foreign Policy he was a Master, he had no real interest in domestic policy, thus he was quite liberal. But after 1960 election Nixon made sure he was the master of PR, thus his election in 1968 and his 49 State win in 1972. The problem for the Brown Camp is that they are allowing Brow to be Brown, he is dull, his jokes fall flat, and his want to say " I agree with Nick " was a disaster, why vote for Brown if the other guy has all the good ideas. Thus it is a good idea to keep Brown in PM mode, he is not good with people, it looks forced to say the least. The Labour Party has to think about its future, make sure they have more seats in the House of Commons that the Conservative Party and then get a deal with the Liberal Democrats, the price might be the sacking of Brown.

Belgium Falling Apart - Good

The Daily Telegraph: Reports that Belgium could dissolve due to ethnic tensions. One word folks, Good, the UK has come to the aide of Belgium in two World Wars, and how did Belgium repay this debt, during the first Gulf War they would not supply MOD with needed equipment. To think that the UK lost millions of its Armed Forces Personnel to get slapped in the face by a suppose Ally, they did say sorry in the end, not good enough, lets hope flat Belgium becomes the joke of Europe.

2nd UK Election Debate - 2010

BBC News: Reports on the political buildup to the 2nd leaders debate in the UK Election. As the second debate is on Foreign Affairs expect PM Gordon Brown not to say " I agree with Nick ( Nick Clegg, Leader of the Liberal Democrats ) a lot, on Foreign Affairs there is a channel between Labour and Liberal Democrats, from Iraq to the UK's nuclear defence, also on these issues David Cameron could say " I agree with the Prime Minister " just don't expect DC to say that during the hour and half debate. Lets recall folks from our American cousins, in 1984 President Reagan had a awful first debate with VP Walter Mondale, in the second debate the age question came up and Reagan made a joke of how young Mondale was, the election was over, Reagan won 49 States and 59% of the vote vote. Lets be honest PM Brown is not great at PR, he tried a joke last week at the expense of the Conservative Party, it fell flat, by flat it was not show that much in after the debate. As to young Mr Clegg ( always follow the lead of the Gipper ) this will be tougher for Clegg, he will have to defend the LibDems and their policy to get rid of UK's nuclear arsenal, they seem to trust Obama, go and ask the Czech Republican and Poland if you can trust Obama. This blog will do a live tweet of the debate folks, just click the link on this page to my Twitter Page. As for prediction of winners, if Clegg doe not make a mistake then he could win the second debate, David Cameron has to up his game, go after Clegg and Brown, as for Gordon Brown, well lets be kind, he knows details.

Mr Conservative vs Mr Rebel

the Atlantic: Reports on a amazing find, a drama staring President Ronald Reagan and James Dean in 1954, the show can be seen on the web page. Read of the Day.

Obama 44% Approval - RCP Blog

RCP Blog: Reports on the latest Quinnipiac Poll on the job performance of President Obama, the President has a 44% approval rating, while 46% disapprove of Obama's record as President. It comes down to one issue folks, that is health care reform, the hubris of Obama made him think that if he pushed it through the Congress then the polls would go in to reverse, takes a special kind of hubris to think that, well this is the President who has bowed so much to Iran that he is a laughing stock by the sounds of things in the Defence Department, thus the " Wake Up Call " by Secretary Gates and his warning memo to the Oval. Thus still keeping to my prediction that President Obama wont run in 2012, or will lose by 49 states, an arrogant man like Obama wont be able to face that kind of result, thus my argument that he wont run.

LibDem/Lab Pact?

The Telegraph: Reports that the LibDem Leader Nick Clegg has been very critical of the PM Gordon Brown. Lets be honest would you want to work for Gordon Brown, his bad treatment of staff and the Labour spin machine should make Lib Dem's have second thoughts, a real revolution would be if the worked with the new Conservative Party under David Cameron, that would show a new dawn in UK politics.

Out of Work in the UK = 2.5M

BBC News: Reports that 2.5 million people are out of work in the UK, this is the highest level since 1994. This will be bad news for the Labour Party, it will help with the impression that Labour has sent the UK economy up the creek without a paddle. It will be interesting to see if this bad economic news places more pressure on Labour when it comes to the polls.

Obama, Iran and the BOMB

Fox News: Reports that Iran could have a nuclear bomb with a year and it could have missile technology within five. One can postulate that in Israel there are already plans to take action, a nuclear armed Iran within a year is out of the question for Israel. Also the Obama Administration must know that if it allows Iran to go nuclear it will be out of office in 2012, even the 201o Mid Term Elections could come down to the fact that Obama has allowed Iran to humiliate him at every turn, the more Obama has bowed to Iran the more they have turned their heel on him ( this shows disrespect in the Middle East ), at the end of the day Obama will have to chose, does he support Israel or Iran when Israel has to take military action to protect its national security. The one Ace that Israel has and Obama cant overturn is the Israeli lobby in the US Congress, should Obama try any sanctions against Israel then the US Congress would overturn any such Act by the Oval. Interesting times ahead folks for Israel, Obama and the US Congress.

Vote Conservative on May 6th 2010

NO more NI Tax

Tax HELP for married couples

REFORM the POLITICAL SYSTEM

NYT and Iran

The New York Times: The states the following on a military solution to the problem of Iran, " As for the military options under review, we are sure that an attack would be a disaster. " The NYT is showing the same appeasement polices of the The Times of London before World War Two, at the end of the day the extreme Liberal NYT does not have the backbone to take tough military action, they see the threat but avert their eyes. Thus since President Obama follows the Agenda of the left wing NYT it is time for Israel to think about its own security, it is time for Israel to act, at the end of the day Obama will not take military action, he seems to bow to Iran but humiliates a close ally of the USA in the shape of Israel. Obama has the naivety of Carter and the hubris of Chamberlain, thus time for Israel to strike Iran, Israel does not have a friend in the Oval, its about the security of Israel at the end of the day.

LibDems and National Security

The 2nd Leaders on Sky News on Thursday is about Foreign Affairs. This could be a political minefield for the Liberal Democrats, they are extremely pro European, would jump to become part of the Euro as it goes down the toilet, they would give up our nuclear deterrence just as Iran is going nuclear, this could be a way for the Conservative Party to show that the voter has only two real options, either the Conservative Party or the Labour Party. The Shadow Foreign Secretary Mr Hague has stated the following,There appears to be complete confusion in the Liberal Democrat position on Britain’s nuclear deterrent. Today their Foreign Affairs Spokesman contradicted what their Defence Spokesman said – just two days ago – on whether we should keep a nuclear deterrent at all. On matters as important as our national security, the Liberal Democrats need to do better.” Lets see the polls for Nick Clegg after the second debate, the Conservatives should paint the LibDems as on the extreme left wing. The question will Gordon Brown agree with his friend Nick.

Welfare Reform - Conservative Agenda

BBC News: Reports on the Conservative plan to cut the costs of the welfare state, the BBC reports on a new Conservative Poster, "Let's cut benefits for those who refuse to work." David Cameron hit the right Conservative notes when it comes to welfare, Mr Cameron stated the followoing, if you refuse the first offer of a job you lose your benefits for a month, the second time for three months and then three years. This is a tough message but the right message, Mr Cameron stated the following " Conservatives will today pledge to introduce a new welfare contract by the end of 2010 – a single comprehensive Work Programme offering unprecedented support for those looking for work, combined with new sanctions for anyone who refuses to work. The new welfare contract will draw on the principles of the Big Society, backing people who do the right thing but ending the free ride for those who fail to take responsibility. The new sanctions will be introduced within six months of a Conservative Government taking office......The old way – the big government way – has failed. It’s time to tackle welfare dependency a new way – the Big Society way. We’re going to change the whole way welfare is done in this country so everyone takes responsibility and plays their part. This is our new welfare contract: do the right thing and we will back you all the way. But fail to take responsibility – and the free ride is over. " Lets be honest folks if you look at the present benefits system its in some respects better to be out of work, as the wages in black spots for employment just reach the minimum wage, the problem is that the minimum wages does not match the costs of living these days. As an example there was a job on offer in a local super store, the job was part time, thus the wage at the end of it was the same as some get from the dole. Thus why work at a dead end job if you don't have too, also lets be clear, if your a Teacher, Nurse, Doctor, etc its insulting to be offered a job you would give a 18 year old just out of College. But on the other hand this is also hubris, ( told you I understood Obama ), at least it would get you doing something, okay your older and better educated than most of the staff, in fact your older and better qualified that your boss, but at least you would gets some fresh hair, thus my point folks, sometimes the above category have to be forced to take job, ( can you see Obama and his arrogance working for minimum wage, or Gordon Brown for that matter ) but that is the political elite folks, the rest of us have to live in the real world.

Financial Reform - Blocked ?

CNN News: Reports that Republican Senators are united in blocking Obama's financial reform plan due to the fact that it is to soft on Wall Street. This is a good political move by the Republicans, if they can keep the argument that the Obama's new reform is very much like his health reform, wrong for the country then they can be seen as the supporters of the people vs Wall Street, while Obama will have to defend a Bill that in many protects Wall Street. In this Mid Term Election year it is good to be seen on the side of main street not Wall Street. Do the Democrats in Congress have a political death wish, more fun ways to end your political career, get caught with an Escort, at least that has more class than selling out the country.

Obama SNUBS Poland Again!

It seems that President Obama cant stand not to be the centre of attention, it was planned due to the tragic death of President Kaczynski of Poland for President Obama to be at the funeral, but recent volcanic action has prevented flights around the World, the White House has stated the following from Obama to Poland, "I spoke with acting President Komorowski and told him that I regret that I will not be able to make it to Poland due to the volcanic ash that is disrupting air travel over Europe. Michelle and I continue to have the Polish people in our thoughts and prayers, and will support them in any way I can as they recover from this terrible tragedy. President Kaczynski was a patriot and close friend and ally of the United States, as were those who died alongside him, and the American people will never forget the lives they led." If AF1 can fly during a nuclear attacks it can find a way to Poland that is secure, hardly a great surprise that Obama does not want to show his face in Poland, he sold out Poland to get a deal with Russia over Iran, and lets see what has Obama got for his selling out of an Ally , lets see nothing, any new round of sanctions passed by the UN will be weak, and this gives time for Iran to go nuclear. As the Robert Gates has stated to the White House the US does not have a plan to deal with a nuclear armed Iran, what the US does not have is real leader, there is always the US Navy to travel to Poland, it was good enough for FDR, it should have been good enough for President Obama. If the leader of North Korea had died one can be sure that Obama would be bowing to the new leader.

Damages - 1st Season

I bought a box set of the first two seasons of Damages of late, well folks I will be honest, I have been missing out on great drama, still haven't finished the season but its great, lets be honest UK Elections are not as fun as the US Elections. The UK debates are not that thrilling if your a political geek, have seen all the US debates since 1980. In the 2008 the West Wing debate had more drama than the real versions of 2008. But back to Damages, its great acting by Glenn Close, Rose Byrne, and Ted Danson, have to admit when I ever I see Ted Danson I think about Sam, Coach, Woody, Cliff, Norm etc, my favourite bar Cheers. Looking forward to see how and if Patty wins. Also a salute to Mad Men, the season has finished cant wait for the next season, still want to be Don when I grow up but with humour of Roger, one hell of drama folks, those guys could sell the USSR to Poland.

Gutter Politics and the UK 2010 Election

Iain Dale's Diary: A critical attack on the Mail on Sunday for going in to the gutter with a personal attack on the Leader of the Liberal Democrats Nick Clegg. This blog has no time for the Liberal Democrats and their Manifesto plan to surrender the UK’s nuclear arsenal but that is a policy attack, when you get personal you have lost the argument, thus agree with Mr Dale that the Conservative Press should keep it about policy, this is not the X- Factor or any other reality TV show, this is about the future of the UK. Before opinion writers start to think about a Hung Parliament lets see some more polls, next week the debate is about Foreign Policy, this is weak point for the LibDems, they are extreme pro Europeans, want to be run from Europe, also they want to give up UK’s nuclear arsenal as the same time as Iran is going nuclear. Lets see the polls after that debate.

Iran = THE BOMB and the US

The Sunday Times: Reports on a secret memo by US Defence Secretary Robert Gates that argues that the US does not have a long term strategy should Iran get the bomb or have the parts but does not cross that red line. The Secretary has missed the point, its not that the US does not have a strategy, its the weak President in the Oval that the Gates has to worry about, Obama has shown that he is combination of Carter/Chamberlain, thus he will not take military action to stop the Tehran Regime, he likes to be loved to much, that can be a weakness in a leader, it can be a disaster in a US President. The Obama policy is to go for a Cold War policy of containment, this would be a disaster, it could lead to a nuclear arms race in the Middle East, these countries have seen how Obama sold out Poland and the Czech Republic to Russia, thus do they really trust Obama to come to their assistance if they are under nuclear blackmail from Iran. One can see Iraq becoming a satellite of Iran after the US has left, simple reason Iran will have the bomb and Iraq wont, its that simple folks. The Defence Secretary should send another memo to Obama, a history lesson starting with Munich of 1938 and the weak policy of the UK Government to the strong policy of Reagan that lead to the end of the Cold War and the end of the USSR.

A Real Poll? - UK2010

Guy Fawkes' Blog: Reports on the latest UK political poll after the first historic PM debate, the latest Sun/YouGov Poll fins the following, Conservatives 33%, LibDems 30% and Labour 28%. This is a snapshot of one event, Nick Clegg had a good night, but lets get real here, the LibDems are not going to form the next government, but what they can do is cause havoc, lets postulate a Hung Parliament, in this case the Labour/LibDems, centre left parties could come together, and have a majority. The question is will the LibDems want to work with Gordon Brown, thus is the Home Secretary Alan Johnson making nice now as to replace PM Gordon Brown in a Hung Parliament. But back to the poll, does this political geek think this will happen, NO, could be wrong, lets see more polls, always recall folks that the great UK voter has in the past lied to the polls as in 1992. Still predict a Conservative win with a narrow majority of between 5 and 10 seats.

Labour fear of ELECTION RESULT!

The Times: Reports on the remarks by the Home Secretary Alan Johnson, the Home Secretary has stated the positive aspects of a Hung Parliament. In other words folks the Labour Party has thrown in the towel about winning the election, its not going to happen, so we are moving in to another Labour/Liberal pact, this was a nightmare in the 1970s folks. It took Lady Thatcher to clean up the mess the last time these Parties got together. What I find interesting about the polls is that in a odd way a Liberal surge should hurt the Conservatives as in most Tory target seats its the LibDems that are the second party, but if the LibDems go left they could really hurt the Labour Party, it will be interesting to see after the 2nd leaders debate. The second debate is about Foreign Affairs, this time Gordon Brown cant agree with his friend Nick, as Nick wants to get rid of the UK's nuclear arsenal, thus Labour and the Conservative Party should be on the same page. Also expect the Tory press to take the shine off the LibDems, the LibDems promise a lot but then they don't have to deliver. One can argue that the UK voter is looking for a way out of the economic mess, they want to be conned that there is no need for drastic cuts after the election, thus in many respects the politicians might see the reality by the voter wants to think its always Summer, it is not folks, a cold winter is coming, they UK voter better get around to the fact or they will be angry not with themselves but with the politicians, the Voter is never wrong.

The UK Election Debate - UK 2010

BBC News: Reports on the lead up to the first PM Debate in UK political history. Thus its time to get ready or head down to the pub at around 8pm folks. My fear is that political experts will have taken the three leaders through the process so many times that the actual event will be boring. One can expect the candidates to be a bit Dalek, not wanting to blow it with the first debate, a bad show and your in the TV history books, shown how not to debate in the UK context. I am not going to make a prediction on who wins, that is playing the US political game or spinning for your side, higher or lower expectations, lets see what the great and the good will do with this historic chance.

Iran NUCLEAR Armed = 1 YEAR - US

Yahoo! News: Reports that the US believes that Iran could be a nuclear armed power with the year. Lets be honest folks, the Obama Administration is going for a Cold War policy of nuclear containment when it comes to Iran, it does not have the backbone or the will to take on Iran, Obama needs to be loved, the left has started to be critical due to his policies in Iraq and Afghanistan, the liberal left in the US would never support taking action against Iran, the New York Times has followed a line that the West should do nothing when it comes to Iran. The major difference between the containment policy for the old USSR and Iran is that once Iran is a nuclear power the countries around Iran will start to become satellites of Iran, Iraq after the recent election is going in that direction, the US under Obama it seems to think its just about Iran, its not, once that red line is passed other countries in the region will want to go nuclear, its that simple and brutal, thus Obama is another Chamberlain and his recent nuclear conference was another Munich, that is the TRUTH folks.

Republicans vs Obama = Iran

Fox News: Reports on the pressure from Republicans in Congress for the Obama Administration to get tough with Iran over its nuclear ambitions. This line attack works for Republicans on two levels, the domestic and the international, on the domestic front Obama looks weak when it comes to Iran, also Israel will see that it has an ally in Congress should it take action against Iran. One can see Israel thinking since its in the dog house anyway with Obama, might as well attack Iran before the 2010 Mid Term Elections, the Republicans will support the attack, this will place the Democrats and Obama in a tight spot, one can postulate that Democrats will demand that Obama supports Israel, at the end of the day all political is local as a famous House Speaker once stated.

No Budget - 2010 Mid Term Elections

The Washington Post: Reports the US Congress might not be able to pass a budget due to the fear by Congress that the debt within the budget would hurt those running in the 2010 Elections. The House Democrats who passed health care reform and are not in liberal districts must know that they face political oblivion, they sold the Country out for Obama, and Obama sold them down the river without looking back at them, there are only so many jobs in the Obama Administration that Obama can hand out that don't need Senate confirmation. After November expect a lot of defeated Democrats to start to be critical of Obama, one can even postulate that in 2012 that Obama could face a challenge for the nomination, the same thing occurred in 1980, a lot in Congress thought Carter would take them down, thus they pushed for Senator Edward Kennedy to run against Carter, it didn't work, but one could see Secretary Clinton resigning accusing Obama of appeasement and running against him in 2012.

Munich 1938 Obama Style

ABC News: Reports that President Obama has admitted the fourth round of sanctions against Iran wont be a magic bullet to bring the Tehran Regime to heel over its nuclear ambitions. Its sad to say but it seems that a bright President like President Obama has mistaken action for substance, Iran will laugh in the face of Obama, this is Munich but worse, at least with Munich the UK gained a year to build up its Armed Forces, with bowing to Iran Obama has shown himself to be weak, that might work well in the Court folks but in real world of International Community they just laugh, if you have a weak President you have Jimmy Carter. This is the problem with the psychological flaw of Obama, he has been told that he is fantastic so many times he cant tell the difference any more, its the same hubris that was shared by Neville Chamberlain. Thus when Iran gets the bomb, and Iran will get the bomb folks historians will look back to the PR stunt of the nuclear conference in Washington D.C as the modern version of Munich. At the end of the day Obama does not get one fact, you can be liked till the end of time, but fear helps in the real world, you might like your boss, but also have the fear he will boot you out if economic circumstance change, Obama has bankrupted the US with his health care reform, now he wants to diminish the US as the leader of the Western World. Lets be honest folks neither China or Russia fear Obama, thus the West has another Jimmy Carter, lets hope in 2012 that the Republicans elect a Reagan nominee to defeat Obama in the Presidential race of that year.

How many MISTAKES PM?

BBC News: Reports that PM Gordon Brown has admitted that as as Chancellor of the Exchequer he was not tough on the Banking system, also that he has learned from his from his past history. Well folks there comes a time when the voter has to ask, how many mistakes PM, when Chancellor Brown allowed the conditions that set up the present UK debt. Is the voter expected to pick up the Bill for over one hundred and six billion pounds of red ink on the debt side for UK Limited. This debt is down to the polices that Brown followed as Chancellor, he allowed the City to run riot, after they nearly bought the UK to its knees the PM bailed them out. Thus voter how many more mistakes can the UK afford, its time for a change folks.

Conservative Party Manifesto 2010

Today it was the turn of the Conservatives to hold their Manifesto Launch. It was an excellent speech by Mr Cameron, asking the people to be part of the political process, the main bullet points of the Manifesto are the following:

1. Be your own boss.

2. Sack your MP.

3. Run your own school.

4. Own your own home.

5. Veto council tax rises

6. Vote for your police

7. Save your local pub or post office

8. See how government spends your money

The Manifesto has traditional Conservative Polices, such as allowing people to get on in life, also it courts reform with the ability of people to sack their MP. Also it understands the need to protect civic society from the ground up, thus the need to protect important sectors in the countryside such as the Pub or the local post office. In North Wales there has been a massive decline in local Pubs due to the cost of buying a drink also the big super markets are selling the stuff at cheaper prices thus making local non brand pubs out of date and to expensive to run. The Conservatives also promise to roll back the NI job tax of the Labour Party but also to help married couples. Lets see if the Tories get a bounce from this Manifesto.

The Sun Poll - 6pt Conservative Lead

The Sun: Has a daily tracking poll for the UK 2010 Election, this poll also has the Conservative Party on a 6pt lead over the Labour Party, in this poll the Conservatives have 39%, the Labour Party 33% and the Liberal Democrats on 20%. As we have seen with the Guardian Poll the Parties are within two percent of 37% - 39% for the Conservative Party and 31% - 33% for the Labour Party, the LibDems are stuck on 20%. Thus for the Conservatives to get a 1 set majority in the House of Commons they need a swing of 6.9%, more than Tony Blair got in 1997. The question that has to be asked is the Guardian right that the Conservative Party has not secured that deal with the UK voter, it really depends if you trust the polls, or more correctif you trust the UK voter to be honest with those asking the questions, one only has to recall 1992, everyone thought it was Labour shoe in, well John Major won with a 21 seat majority, thus Major and the Conservatives stayed in power in till 1997 and the arrival of Tony Blair. The 1997, 2001, and 2005 elections one knew who was going to win well before the election was called, and it was not the Conservative Party, this blogger will wait in till closer to May 6th before making a final prediction on share count and the seats in the House of Commons. There will be a lot of polls before the end folks, this blogger wont be going through them all; HAIL, I hear you shout; but if there is trend will point them out, such as both the Conservative Sun and the Labour Guardian both have the Tory Party with a six point lead, not enough for a Commons majority but a Hung Parliament, what fun that will be folks.

Obama 48% Disapproval - Gallup

Gallup: Reports on its latest daily tracking poll for the job performance of President Obama, the President stands at 48% Disapproval, while 45% of voters approve of Obama's job performance. This should really worry the Obama White House, the Gallup Poll is over average voters, even those young voters who voted for Obama in 2008 and who he needs to come out in Mid Term Elections of 2010 and in the re-election year of 2012. If Obama has lost the young, in this case I count between 18 - 30, due to the fact that he is forcing them to buy medical cover then the Democrats are toast in November, the House could be gone and the Senate could be on the brink over going to the Republicans. Those in the White House that think Obama is the second coming will argue that the should follow the Reagan path of the first term, keep steady and it will turn around, they are political fools, Reagan won big in 1984 due to the fact that the economy had turned, this is not on the cards for 2012. It would be ironic if Obama ushered in another generation of Republican Presidents due to the fact of his own arrogance. Thus the fate of the Obama Presidency will be based on the following factors, the economy, Iran, Afghanistan and Iraq. It will only take for two of these go wrong and Obama is on the way home back to Chicago, its still a few years away in objective terms, but Obama is heading in that direction, and the fun thing it will be own arrogance leads him to be another Jimmy Carter.

Iraq = Afghanistan - NYT

The New York Times: Reports on the killing of five innocent civilians by US Forces. It starts folks, the extreme liberal New York Times it seems has gone sour on Afghanistan, as with Iraq expect more negatives stories, as stated many times in this blog, the media elite only supported the Afghan War as a way to hammer Bush 43, now its time to place pressure on Obama to get out of Afghanistan. Thus expect more negatives stories, how the Afghan Government is corrupt and weak, how the Afghan Army is still not ready to take over from US Forces. How the domestic agenda of the Afghan Government would not pass muster in the Editorial room of the extreme liberal New York Times. It just might be fun and ironic to see Obama go through the same critical attack from the New York Times has the Bush White House had to face day in and out. The plan to undermine the Afghan War by the NYT started with the negative stories about the second Obama surge, thus the NYT has shown it cards, it wants out of Afghanistan, it wants Iran to have the bomb and for KSM to have all the rights of an American. That is the NYT of today.

VAT - TAX

Telegraph: Reports on the refusal of PM Gordon Brown not to promise not raise VAT due to the need to cut the black hole of the UK Budget. Thus folks the Labour Party will raise taxes to cut the debt of the UK folks, we can expect that National Insurance to go up more than 1% should the Labour Party be in power for another five years, also VAT can be expected to reach 20% by the time of the next election. What is the one thing you don't do if you want to recover from a major recession folks, YES you don't increase the tax burden on the folks, its hard enough now folks in the UK, the petrol increase in the countryside make it very expensive to run a car, but if you live in the countryside you need the car, the local buses seem to run on their own private timetable. It is clear folks that the UK voter has a choice, more tax under Labour or a Conservative Party that will get the country going in the right direction.

New Guardian Poll, ONLY 6pt Tory Lead

Guardian: Reports on a new poll that has the Conservatives on thirty seven percent support, the Labour Party on thirty one percent support and the LibDems on twenty percent support, the Guardian states the following on the poll, " The Conservatives have failed to press home their apparent advantage in the first week...". That's my problem with polls folks, my political gut is telling me that people will vote Conservative and give the Conservative Party a good majority but they don't want to tell the polls, its not new folks, lets be honest the Labour Party had a bad first week, the allowed the Conservative Party to set the Agenda when it comes to National Insurance, also major business leaders came out and supported the Conservative idea to repeal the new 1% increase in that tax. So why is the Labour Party still on 31% support, its not that the poll is misleading its just that the voter tells fibs, if you look at the questions asked in the Poll the Conservatives have a good lead in many sections. Thus be careful with these polls folks, go and read the other questions asked in the poll, its suggests that the Conservatives will win and with a good majority, its just the voter will not tell the truth.

The Labour Manifesto 2010

The Labour Party released its 2010 Manifesto today, it was dull and boring, a lot like PM Gordon Brown. The only real highlights are the following, if your a train spotter you love the idea of more trains, other wise in the real world the Labour Party will not promise NOT to raise VAT. In other words a document published when you have wrecked the economy and are broke. Lots of wind with no substance, read if you cant sleep. Also after 13 years of Labour why all the talk about political reform, what have the being doing over the past 13 years, sleeping at the wheel as most MP's turned out to be bent with a very few honourable exceptions, if you trust Labour Party NOW then as the Doctor ( Doctor Who ) said on Saturday, elections every five years and the voter has forgotten those years. After 13 years of Labour the economy is in the toilet, WE ARE BROKE, and the idea of the House of Commons is in the toilet, yes after 13 YEARS OF LABOUR.

Telegraph Poll of Polls - UK 2010 Election

A look at the present State of the UK parties in the UK polls, lets recall 1992 folks, the Labour Party was expected to win and the lost. Simple fact folks the UK voter does not tell the whole truth when asked who they are going to vote for, this blogger does not see the Labour Party on 30%, more between 27% - 29% and the Conservatives on between 38% - 41% and the LibDems on 17% - 19%. The Debates could be important lets see, the chance to close the deal as our American friends would say in their elections.

Veto Power - Karzai of Afghanistan

Fox News: Reports on a UK Sunday Times Story that the President Karzai of Afghanistan could veto the latest NATO attack on Taliban/Al Qaeda in the Kandahar province due to pressure from local leaders. As stated many times in this blog the War in Afghanistan; Obama's War; could be the issue that brings down President Obama in 2012, Karzai is the modern version of Diem of South Vietnam, does Obama have the nerve to replace him, in essence making Afghanistan a colony of the United States. In this case Obama cant use the race card or do rhetoric tour of Afghanistan, the Secret Service would say a big NO, they have the legal authority to veto any such idea. Thus the Obama White House is stuck with a War that was loved by liberals as a way to attack Bush 43, its different when it becomes your War. Also the Obama White House has seen an increase in the violence in Iraq after the recent election, there are calls for the Obama White House to delay its removal of US troops from Iraq. The problem for Obama is that he has not shown that he copes well when countries such as Iran or North Korea tell him to get lost, in fact he seems to grovel to these evil regimes, a lot like Neville Chamberlain did to Adolf Hitler before World War Two. It seems that the US voter has elected a Chamberlain not a Churchill.

What is Obama's Nuclear Policy ?

CBS News: Interesting comment by the US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton that should the US be attacked by weapons of mass destruction, in this case biological weapon and that it can be traced to a country, the " then all bets are off ". Lets take a case example, the US is attacked by a chemical or biological weapon, there are hundred of thousands of deaths, the Congress will not tolerate some mild conventional attack because Obama does not have the guts to take total action, that is the point of nuclear weapons, takes an arrogant fool to take the threat off the table. Thus the US Congress in such a case would force Obama to take action under threat of Impeachment if hundred of thousands even millions of Americans had died, also this message by the Secretary of State is a warning to her own President, the Clintons never forgive, they still haven't forgiven Obama for using the race card in 2008 against Bill Clinton, thus is this a warning to Obama that if he is weak then Secretary Clinton could resign in 2011 and run against him in 2012, lets recall the Polls folks, also Secretary Clinton is no Edward Kennedy of 1980, when Kennedy ran against Jimmy Carter and lost, if Clinton goes after Obama she will do it because she can win. Thus if your in the Oval its not just Iran or North Korea you have to worry about its your own Secretary of State.

Obama's Polls and the 2010/12 Elections

Let see President Obama has passed the biggest change in the domestic agenda of the US since the Great Society with his health care reform, and of late he has signed a new START Treaty with Russia and his polls are going South in a big way. All three major polls has Obama on the wrong side of approval. I will use the following key for these polls, A ( Approval ) D ( Disapproval ), in the Gallup Poll we have Obama on 47%A - 48%D. This comes down to one issue folks, Obama has pushed health care reform down the throat of the US voter, he has started to believe his own press statements. Then we come to the Rasmussen Poll, this has Obama on 47%A - 53%D, this blog has a lot of trust in the Rasmussen Poll as it had the 2008 election on the nose as we say in the horse racing. Also the Rasmussen Poll is over likely voters, those that will acutely vote, in the Gallup Poll its Average voters, these tend to be younger voters who support Obama but when it comes out to voting would rather surf the net and that actually go out and vote in the rain. Then we come to the Fox News Poll, liberals hate Fox news but Fox News this blog has found is very fair and balanced when it comes to its hard news, thus Fox News found the following, Obama 43%A - 48%D. The Fox Poll is based on those voters that are registered to a Party. Thus if your Oval you start to worry, all ways of doing Polls has found that the President in the mid 40%, if Obama cant turn this around by late November the Republicans will take the House and a good shot at the Senate, its to far away in objective politics to say that Obama is finished in 2012, but if your Democrat you start to worry, do you need as in 1980 someone to run against Obama in the Democratic race, if Reagan can take on President Ford in 1976 then Obama will face that risk should his polls still be going South in 2012.

The Government CUTS that have to HAPPEN - Labour

BBC News: Reports that the Labour Party had finally admitted that even if they are re-elected there will have to be job cuts after the election. It is simple folks, the UK is over a hundred and sixty billion in debt, there have to either massive cuts or big and I mean big tax increase, the rich cant pay for it all, so that means the Middle Class and the working class have to get their wallet out. The PM has promised not to increase the level of income tax for five years, that leaves national insurance that all workers pay, thus the Government plan to increase that by 1% but that will have a massive negative effect on creating jobs even keeping jobs. Thus the Conservative argument to scrap that increase and to cut the waste in government spending. Labour after 13 years has sent the UK in to the debt prison, lets give the Conservatives a chance to clean house in Westminster.

The Blogger and Modern Politics

In this broadband age it seems that North Wales has been left out of the broadband revolution, this political geek has to use mobile broadband and in North Wales if you want to cut a political advert in support of your political party you will have trouble getting it online. In my case I use Vodafone mobile but in North Wales we don't get 3G cover, yes we can surf the net and check emails but in today's world if you try to watch a TV show via mobile broadband, don't bother, a three minute political ad can take over a hour to show before you can watch that three minutes. Thus since we are in a election its time for all Parties to force the broadband providers to give better cover, this blogger spent most of last night trying to get his political advert on this blog, with no success, this blogger was even about to show his face after four years, but what the point of doing a decent advert if the you cant get it up on your blog or YouTube. Thus next time you see a politician of either political party give them a earful about broadband.

Obama in TROULBE - Reagan Link Again!

The Week: A post 2o12 article on how Obama is more like Reagan in the mastery of the Presidency. This is sci fiction for liberals folks, a post 2012 article that assumes a great deal and does not take in to consideration Iran, Afghanistan, Iraq or the threat of another 9/11. As stated the clever liberals must think that Obama is real loser, they fear that they just might have not elected a liberal Reagan but a liberal Jimmy Carter. Thus liberals are now praising the political skills of the Gipper, when liberals praise Reagan they must be scared out of their wits, they should be, when Obama becomes another VP Mondale and goes down to the biggest loss in American political history and his Agenda ends up on the ash heap of history then liberals will see that Obama was a one hit wonder as they say in the music business, he flew got to close to the sun and was thrown out on his backside by the US voter in 2012.

New Start Treaty and the US Senate

Washington Examiner: Reports that the New Start Treaty signed by the US and Russia might have a tough time in the US Senate, the article states the following, " The GOP reception has so far been lukewarm at best.. ". In this case Obama needs more than just 51 votes, for any Treaty to pass it has to get 67 votes and over , in other words he needs Republicans to support the Treaty or its dead as a parrot, in this case lets see the details, if any restraint on Missile Defence then the Republicans should oppose the Treaty, also to quote the Gipper, " Trust by Verify " lets see if the Russians are playing fair, after Georgia the Russia Bear has a lot to do to regain the trust of the West. Also the US Senate should make sure that that Obama has not given any private assurance to Moscow when it comes to Missile Defence, aka JFK over Turkish Missiles in the Cuban Missile Crisis. At its most basic folks this blogger does not trust a word out of the mouth of President Obama, so to miss quote Reagan, Lets not trust and verify dam hard, both Obama and Moscow.

A SNUB to Obama - Israel

BBC News: Reports that Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu will not attend a Obama's nuclear summit in Washington, the stated reason is that Israel will not tolerate Egypt and Turkey using the conference to slam Israel on its nuclear arsenal. One can also postulate that this is a slap to President Obama, he will face close allies, Egypt and Turkey have a good time going on about how can the US attack Iran when Israel has the bomb. Thus if you think about the Jewish vote, and American politicians always think about powerful voting blocks, Obama will be in a fix, Israel will not discuss or give up its nuclear weapons, but the Obama dream world is based on the assumption that if stats like Israel would give up their nuclear arsenal then Iran would follow suit, one word RUBBISH, one would use strong terms but this is a open page. The Tehran Regime in some respects must think that Obama is a laughing stock, he bowed so many times to Tehran in the hope that they even dare discuss the issue that he must have a bad back, this is the same arrogance that had its grip on Neville Chamberlain and that lead to World War Two. Obama to quote the attack on King James 1 is the wises fool in Christendom, he might be clever but clever people lead US in to Vietnam. This is why the Republicans should take the House and Senate, they really have to take the gloves off with Obama, paint him for what he is, a extreme liberal, who bows the enemy and sells out his friends. This is why Obama is a clever fool, he wont understand the political results if he becomes the next Walter Mondale in 2012.

Around and Around and NOTHING - Iran

BBC News: Reports that the Veto powers of the UN Security Council are meeting to discuss a fourth round of sanctions against Iran. One simple result folks, weak sanctions, neither China or Russia want tough sanctions, they want the US under Obama to force the issue with Iran as to keep their hands clean. Any new sanctions will be weak, Iran wants the bomb and has slapped Obama so many times he must punch drunk. The Tehran Regime has seen the forced respect that North Korea had demanded, lets recall Iran still has American holidaymakers in their jails, just waiting for that public trial. The Obama Administration in public states it will not tolerate a nuclear armed Iran, but even the liberal New York Times has stated that on the ground polices, such as placing anti missile shield in Middle East Allies of the US is a form on Cold War containment. Thus the question is not what the US will settle for it, its what Israel will tolerate. It can be argued that Israel has no reason to do any favours for Obama, his humiliation of the Israeli PM shows that Obama is more keen to bow to the enemies of the US than to its friends. Thus since Israel is in the dog house it might as well strike Iran, that would really show President Obama that Israel understand the Chicago way.

The Left and the New Start Treaty

Mother Jones: Reports that the new Start Treaty has some Republican support from those that worked for Ronald Reagan and Bush 41, the article states that if the Treaty is blocked by Republican Senators this could cause "......criticism from Republicans and that a campaign of obstruction against the treaty could cause a split on the right. " As stated yesterday the liberal elite are worried that Obama might face defeat in the 2012 Presidential Election. These liberals see the attack ads already, that Obama sold out the Czech Republic for a peace of paper, in the form of Neville Chamberlain. Also the humiliation of the Israeli PM shows that Obama is more interested in bowing to the elite press viewpoint than supporting an Ally. Thus the Elite Media is trying to cover Obama with making connections to Ronald Reagan, either through Reagan’s aim to get rid of nuclear weapons or to get former Reagan Admin Officials to support Obama’s Foreign Policy. There is a problem folks, Obama is no Reagan, neither tough or pragmatic, Obama is just another copy of Jimmy Carter and Walter Mondale.

Boer War and Afghanistan

BBC History: An Essay on British Strategy in the Boer War of 1899 - 1902. As stated in previous post this blog support winning the War in Afghanistan, if we have to be brutal but effective so be it, if that means a scorched earth policy combined with the Hamlet policy of the Vietnam War then let it be, in Vietnam the people from the Villages had their communities moved to secure Hamlets. Thus if the Taliban didn't have local support support and the Army of Pakistan could really move up to the boarder then they could be crushed. The more years we spend in Afghanistan the more we shall be seen as invaders, more UK deaths, lets finish this operation, I would rather get harsh words from the Guardian and the New York Times that lose one more member of the Armed Forces. Its is harsh and God forgive me but it might be the only result that will work in the War.

Death in Afghanistan

MOD: Reports that a Welsh Soldier was killed yesterday in Afghanistan, the soldier was from the " 1st Battalion The Royal Welsh (Royal Welch Fusiliers) ". Thus since 2001 the UK has lost 281 of its Armed Forces Personnel in Afghanistan, of that total it has lost 248 in combat operations and 33 due to illness, accidents or other incidents. It can be postulated that the Taliban/Al Qaeda will use the election the UK to stress more attacks on UK forces in Afghanistan. Lets hope the military top brass have taken this under consideration, in other words our Armed Forces Personnel in combat action should shoot first and ask questions later, a lot later. The Taliban/Al Qaeda don't play by Western rules, and to be honest this blog is getting angry at the huge loss of our Forces, if the enemy is not playing by the rules of WAR it about time we started to use the methods from later stages of the Boer War in South Africa, harsh, brutal but effective, lets win this war, otherwise it will turn in another Basra, and a defeat.

Liberal NATION supports SDI and Reagan

It is interesting, you can tell when Liberals think that the have to protect President Obama from his own statements, this is classic case, the new Obama nuclear plan is already seen as weak and a threat to the security of the United States. Thus what does the bible for liberals roll out, yes they know connect the Obama dream for no nukes to Reagan's same dream. Thus to protect their own weak liberal President the article states the following, ".......there is now a plausible case to be made for anti-missile defense. Reagan always insisted that his Strategic Defense Initiative program was a means toward nuclear arms cuts and ultimately the abolition of these horrific implements of mass death... " In other words folks bright liberals know that if Obama does not get re-elected all their dreams go down the toilet with his Administration. The Republicans will reverse all of Obama's domestic and international agenda, thus when Reagan starts to get support from extreme liberals the game might be up for Obama already, think how his nuclear policy will go down with middle American. In essence Obama has stated that if Iran or North Korea use terrorists thus no fingerprints to attack the US with nuclear, biological or chemical weapons the US will not take action, it will get in the lawyers to check the small print. That is why Obama will be a major loser in 2012 folks, you cant be a liberal on the domestic front and abroad, it one or another, that is the point that Obama does not get, arrogance, hubris and naivety come at a price folks, losing by 49 states could be the price that Obama has to learn, he wont like it but he might learn that he does not walk on water, its a hard lesson but it will be fun to see him learn that lesson.

The Left and Obama's Dream

Guardian: Is somewhat critical of Obama's new nuclear defence plan for no new nuclear weapons and not to use these weapons on countries should they attack the US with biological and chemical weapons, the left wing Guardian states the following, " Radical is not the word that leaps to mind reading through President Obama's long-delayed Nuclear Posture Review. ". That is the problem with the left, they don't see the threat over the hill, the Guardian would allow Iran to become a nuclear armed power, its in the same basket as the extreme liberal New York Times. The left never want to defend the USA and the UK, they argued in the 80s for the West to give up its nuclear weapons, while leaving the USSR with its nuclear force. If these people had been charge of Western security at the time of the Cold War they USSR would still be about, and Eastern Europe would be under the boot of Moscow. If you want the West to be secure it is important that Iran does not get the bomb, the lack of action by Bill Clinton and Bush 43 allowed North Korea to get the bomb and missile technology. Thus the most important national security issue facing President Obama is Iran, if he flunks Iran then Obama is just another Jimmy Carter.

Obama's Nuclear Dream and the US Senate

Newsweek: Reports on the problems that the new START nuclear Treaty could have getting passed the US Senate, the article states the following, " But it's not entirely clear that a polarized Congress will find the two-thirds majority to ratify the treaty. " The Obama dream of getting rid of nuclear weapons was supported by Ronald Reagan, but the real world is not based on the whims of an American President , even the greats such as Reagan had to see the real world. Thus when President Reagan and President Gorbachev of the USSR agreed to the abolition of all nuclear weapons there was a problem, Reagan could see beyond the his own time and the need to protect the US from future threats, Reagan would remove all nuclear weapons but he wanted a defence in case of a threat to US security. This was a deal breaker for President Gorbachev, in the end Reagan was right, the US and the West needs Anti Missile Defence shield against threats from Iran and North Korea. The difference is that Reagan did not care to be popular with the Nobel Committee, he was President of the United States, he wanted to protect the West, thus while the elite media wanted a deal at any cost, Reagan walked away. One can see Obama in the same meeting saying yes and selling out Western Security so he can be popular with the New York Times.

Obama is a FOOL

CNN: Reports that the Obama Administration will not modernize the US nuclear arsenal and will not use nuclear weapons if attacked by chemical or biological weapons by a non nuclear country. This is why President Obama is unfit to be Command in Chief of the United States, this is the type of 80s seminar bull that is best left in the seminar room. Thus Iran and North Korea will now know that if they attack the US with chemical or biological weapons the USA will not take action. Or if they clever they will give these weapons to Al Qaeda, thus no fingerprints. It seems that President Obama is willing to sacrifice the security of the United States so he can be loved by Norway, this is another reason Obama will get his clocked wiped in 2012, a basic understanding of international politics is that you don't give the enemy your strategy for beating them, lets really hope the Republican take the House and Senate in 2010 and reverse this extreme liberal foolish Agenda. If Obama had been in the shoes of President Truman in 1945 he would have allowed hundred of thousands of US soldiers to die and not drop the nuclear bomb on Japan, Obama is unfit to serve, Republicans pick a decent candidate in 2012 and he will walk his way to the Oval.

Gallup - Obama 49% Approval

Gallup: Reports that President Obama has a 49% job approval in its daily tracking poll, with 46% disapproving of the job performance of President Obama. This poll can be looked at in two ways, at least POTUS is closer to the 50% mark, this is always good for getting your Agenda through Congress. It should be noted that the Gipper in the same time frame has the same level of support, and he later went on to win 49 states in 1984. But the problem is that budge cuts of the early Reagan years then allowed for the economic boom of the late 80s, the Obama health care reform has the hurt in stages, thus tax hikes and and forcing Americans to buy insurance, the election calender thus will be effect by these HCR stages. While Reagan could point to the economic boom ahead, Obama will not be that lucky, he has not spent a year on getting the economy moving, he has spent a year on health care reform, thus it can be postulated that the real verdict on Obama comes in the 2010 Mid Term Elections, if the Republicans can take the House and Senate this will force Obama to the centre of American politics, if the Democrats control both House and Senate they will not learn, they will push their liberal Agenda and Obama will turn in to VP Walter Mondale in 2012.
