Lets Get Real:

Thus NOW that the Trump Oval has draw a red line over the attack on oil tankers what will the US do, will Trump be like President Reagan who took action in 1987/88 when tankers came under threat from Iran or will be like President Obama who drew a red line over the use of WMD and Syria and did not follow up.  The Tehran Regime will be looking carefully at the reaction of the Trump Oval, if they see WEAKNESS they will attack more, the Trump sanctions on Iran is WORKING, but if Tehran sees weakness they will play down the clock, in the hope that the Democratic Nominee will beat Trump in 2020, someone like Mayor Pete who wants to return to the Obama nuclear deal with Iran.  Politics and the real world often clash. 

Also let's be very honest here, a short sharp WAR with Iran would be good for the Trump poll numbers, it's the right policy call and good politics, as long as IRAN does not draw the US in to a long term ground war.  That is what the Tehran Regime wants, what it does not want is the  US using Tehran as a practice for the mother of all bombs, sanctions and bombing could finish the Regime.  The heavy sanctions are bringing the Tehran Regime to its knees, it just needs an extra push.

Lets Get Real:

Let's see if the Trump OVAL does something, in the late 1980s the Reagan Administration re - flagged oil tankers as to allow for US protection of oil tankers after they came under attack from Iran, also attacked Iranian assets in the region*. At present there is a naval carrier fleet in the Gulf, will they take the fight to Iran, or will they just try to prevent naval attacks by Iran.   The Trump Oval so far is ALL TALK, it has sent out conflict messages when it comes to its armed forces, on the one hand Trump wants to remove US forces from the region, but due to the threat from Iran it has increased its forces in the region.  The World will see if President Trump has a backbone, will he just use rhetoric or actually take action as the great Gippper did in 1987*.

The Conservative race is for Boris Johnson to LOSE, thus on the whole he has had selected interviews and today's launch of his campaign.   It was reported in today's Telegraph that a poll shows that with Boris as PM, the Conservative Party would win the next election with a 140 seat majority.   The Johnson Campaign has to ram this down the throats of Remain MPs IN the House of Commons, whatever they do, the next Government can undo, and if these MPs want to be selected as Conservative MPs they will follow the Party line.   It is time for the Johnson Campaign to be very ruthless, not play games with the HARD REMAINERS, just tell them they can be part of the next Government or they can freeze in hell before they get be a Conservative MPs again or be given a peerage or a cush job on a government body.  The Johnson campaign should make FU ( original UK version of the House of Cards ) happy, do what it takes to win.

Mayor Pete ( good brand name to start his Presidential Career ) will not be the Democratic Nominee for President, he is a weak as dishwater, he wants to return to the US/Iran nuclear deal, wants Congress to take more of a role in US Foreign Policy, and he is going on about climate change.  After Iraq the Foreign Policy elite in the US have become gun shy, what happens should Iran go for the bomb, are they going to sit on their backsides while Israel comes under threat, Daesh and Al Qaeda must be wishing for a Mayor Pete Presidency, he has learned the WRONG lessons of his tour of duty, because your good soldiers does not make fit to be President, he is like Obama, telling the enemy what he wants to do, such a pity Pete could have been a contender, but he has blow it already.  This liberal rubbish might work with the Dem base, but will fold when faced with reality.   Iran could become an issue before 2020!

Trump vs. Biden Part 2 - Iowa speeches - Election 2020

As the above article notes President Trump won Iowa in 2016 and will want to make sure that he does not lose the State in 2020, while Biden wants to run a general election strategy before even a vote has taken place in 2020.  One has to say in pure politics the strategy by Trump works better, there is a slim chance that he will face real opposition in the Republican nomination fight, while Biden has to beat a dozen other candidates for the Democratic nomination.   The biggest weakness by Biden is his record, from abortion to his support of the the crime bill in the 1990s. The Crime Bill is seen to have hurt ethnic minority population more than whites, this issue will come up over the next year, if the uber left wing candidates want the nomination they will have to tackle Biden about his support for the bill when he was  Senator.  It still a long way before Iowa votes in 2020.

From watching the video footage on the BBC you would think that Trump is running in the Democratic race to be President and VP Biden thinks that Trump is his main challenger in the Democratic race.   It seems that POTUS can not allow the Democratic race to go on without taking part himself.   This is risky for both Trump and Biden, for POTUS the problem is that it elevates Biden to be his main challenge, while for Biden he faces numerous Democratic candidates who are taking free pot shots at him from the left.   If the Trump Campaign really think that Biden will be the main challenge then they are following the 1996 strategy of Bill Clinton who framed Senator Bob Dole before the General Election.   The problem is what if Biden does not get through the primaries and the Trump campaign is faced with a extreme liberal, they have to reset their campaign strategy and frame the election for a new candidate.  And it only June 2019 folks.

This blog did wonder how the liberal elite in the US would deal with issue of the Martin Luther King Jr Tapes, thus the above attack article, if you do not want to fight on the issue go after the sources.   Hoover really hated Martin Luther King Jr, that is no secret and did spy on him, the question is what do the tapes say, according the essay on them the transcripts showed that King watched a rape and had numerous affairs.   The Liberal left has a problem after the development of the #MeToo movement, do they rubbish King and take down his monument ( they are in to that ) or do they try to bury the story.   One is surprised that President Trump has not released the tapes, really force liberal Democrats to keep to their agenda.   The release of the tapes would clear up the story, did the FBI agents fake the transcript of the conversations, if so the tapes can been burned or released to show how the FBI tried to smear a Great American, on the other hand, what if they are REAL, liberal media elite would have nervous breakdown, one is almost daring Trump to release the tapes either way history would KNOW, and the truth shall set you fee!!
