Let's Get Real:

There are talks on Thursday in Geneva as reported by Sky News, neither side want to compromise, Trump wants Iran's nuclear material, limits on its Ballistic Missiles, and freedom for those in Iran to protest.   The Tehran Regime only wants to talk about its nuclear material and keeping it in Iran, only short term limits for its nuclear programme and the end of sanctions.   The Oval needs more than that, it has moved two aircraft carriers in to the region, and other ships and subs, the greatest naval armada since the WAR in Iraq.  The Oval cannot WIMP out if it wants to keep Presidential credibility, look at what happened to LBJ over Vietnam and Obama with Syria, once lost credibility  is hard to get back.  Tehran is afraid to look weak to its oppressed people and to neighbours in the Area.  Thus clock is counting down to Trump's deadline.

Tulsi Gabbard another NAIL Ukraine's coffin - Russian Appeasement- Trump47

 Guardian reports in its 10.22am post that Tulsi Gabbard has been nominated for the post of Director of National Intelligence.

Lets Get Real:

Tulsi Gabbard blamed the Ukraine when Russia invaded, she will follow the Trump47 line, she is a former Democrat who talked to Assad of Syria, no friend of the US, a firm Russian pawn.  These latest moves by Trump47 shows he pushing the US Senate to bend to his will.  The Attorney General nomination is a joke or Trump47 has lost the plot.

Sanders and Warren lead in New Hampshire - US Election 2020

CNN - Politics: Reports " Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders (21%) and Massachusetts Sen. Elizabeth Warren (18%) are in a close race among likely voters in New Hampshire's first-in-the-nation Democratic presidential primary, according to a new CNN poll conducted by the University of New Hampshire.  "

Lets Get Real:

The question that has to be asked, is VP Biden finished, he leads in some national polls but in the States he has been overtaken by Sanders or Warren.  One has to assume that President Obama might need to have a word with his former VP, either to get in to the game or considering getting out of the race.  It can be postulated that Barack Obama legacy was hurt by the fact that Hillary Clinton did not win 2016, he does not want to see his VP defeated.   The only thing keeping Biden in the race is the support of the African - American vote, but will last if he loses Iowa and New Hampshire.  It can be argued that the Democratic Establishment should start thinking of getting another candidate, thus we come to HRC, she did win the popular vote in 2016 and she needs something to do, also one would have hoped she would have learned the lessons of 2016, listen to Bill Clinton more, he knows about winning elections.

Lets Get Real:

As stated in my previous most, either HRC has lost the plot or is planning to get in to the 2020 race, why attack a candidate so low in the ratings, we all respect to Rep, Gabbard's she is not in the top tier and at least she has served her Nation, unlike Bill Clinton or Bush 43 in Vietnam ( let's be be fair, Bush 43 was in the Texas national guard as a flyer and had a uniform).   It is interesting to see from the article that the feud between the two ladies goes back to 2016 when Gabbard supported Senator Sanders, the Clintons NEVER forget or forgive.  If HRC is going to make such statement from the touch line then she should expect to be attacked, if she really thinks the above she should get in to the race, she did win the popular vote in 2016 and did not grandstand over the issue, unlike Al Gore in 2000 over Florida.  Run HRC, the Crown could still be yours.

Sky News: Reports " Democratic candidate Tulsi Gabbard calls Hillary Clinton 'embodiment of corruption' over Russia-bots slur...The presidential hopeful attacks the former US secretary of state after suggestions Ms Gabbard is "a favourite of the Russians".  "

Lets Get Real:

In normal process Presidential LOSERS, either fade away or are made Ambassador to Japan.  It seems that there is still fire in the belly of Hillary Clinton, it was all meant to be different, he was supposed to be Democratic nominee in 2008, and then again she was on the road to the Oval Office in 2016, she had had a speech ready, and in the end in 07 she lost to Barack Obama and then she won the popular vote in 2016 but lost the electoral college to Donald Trump of all people.   IF HRC really feels that Gabbard is a favourite of Russia she herself should get in to the race, it is not to late and it would spark more media attention on the field.  The Clinton Camp could argue that she won the popular vote in 2016 and VP Biden is hitting the skids, due to lack luster stage performance and the attacks by Trump on his son's business dealings in THE Ukraine.   If Reagan can run three times, 1968, 1976 and 1980,  why not HRC in 2020, if she is that rattled by the field, she should either get back in to the presidential race or spend more time with her grandkids, shouting from the touch line does not help. 

Biden FEELING THE HEAT in New Hampshire - Election 2020

The Hill: Reports on a new poll in New Hampshire, " Biden at 21 percent support, followed by Sanders at 17 percent and Warren at 14 percent. No other candidate has double-digit support in the Granite State.  "

Lets Get Real:

This could mean trouble for the moderate Joe Biden, the former VP to Barack Obama, it shows that the attacks on him from his Senatorial to his Vice Presidential record have had some effect.  The Biden Campaign should be concerned that it could be defeated in Iowa or New Hampshire, one does not have to go back in history to show what happens if that occurs, HRC was seen as the presumptive nominee in 2008, but then she lost IOWA and Barack Obama showed that he could win over white voters, the fear for the Biden camp is that Sanders or Warren could build the BIG Momentum from such a win.  It would be wise for the former VP to spend  a lot of time in Iowa and NH, the voters in these States liked to be asked for their votes, not just assumed to be voting for the right candidate.   Also the next debate will have fewer candidates, so more time for a better debate and not just sound bites. 

What WAY for the Democrats ? - Update 2 - Election 2020

Sky News: Reports " Biden in the firing line but the Democratic race is still his to lose..Two nights of debates see the party struggling on whether to adopt a progressive or moderate vision to take on President Trump.  "

Lets Get Real:

At the end of the day the Democratic race in all probability will come to a moderate as represented by VP Biden and for the Liberals, or progressives as they like to call themselves by Senator Warren.  It is interesting from 2016 Senators Sanders has moved the Democrats to the LEFT, but like Moses he might not get the prize, it can be argued that Warren has the fire in her belly to take the fight to Biden, it will be interesting to see them on the same stage, that will lead to fireworks.  The problem for Democratic voters is while the Democrats have gone LEFT, the rest of the Country is more to the Centre, even centre right.  Senator Harris will have a HARD TIME selling her health plan, as it removes private health cover from a hundred million Americans, that will go down like a LEAD BALLOON.  Also her time as Attorney General will be looked closely by other candidates, God knows what they will find before the next debate.  Thus my prediction for what it's worth, it will be a Biden vs Warren fight for the soul of the Democratic Party.

Lets Get Real:

The 2nd Debate was good for Biden, he fought back, he took on Harris and Booker, it can be said that Booker earned his ticket to stay in the race.  Senator Booker took on Biden when it came to his support of the 1994 Crime Bill and others crime bills from the 1970s and 1980s.   The former VP shot back that the Booker record as Mayor was not that great, that he had to be sued by the ACLU to reform his police department.  The main fight that this blog remembered was the fight between Senator Harris and Tulsi Gabbard over the record of Harris as Attorney General of California, the Congresswoman pointed out that Harris allowed a prisoner to stay on death row when the prisoner should have been removed, that she allowed prisoners to be kept in jail when they should have been released as a form of cheap labour, also she went after pot smokers while laughing when asked if she had ever smoked pot.  The attack was so detailed this blog thinks that the Biden Camp released the info to her, as it allowed Harris to be taken down a bit, while not having the fingerprints of the Biden Campaign on the issue  . What was also interesting for this blog is how Biden threw Obama under the bus when it came to the Obama surge in Afghanistan in the first term, he stated that he was against that.  This is not new, the then Defence Secretary Robert Gates stated that Biden as VP, undercut the Afghan policy at every stage.   Thus far this blog has not seen that mentioned by other comments on the debate.   One can assume that Barack Obama will not be happy that his VP threw him under the bus when it came to such an important foreign policy approach.
