PM on 2nd Scottish Vote and Northern Ireland Protocol - The UK Union under PM

Guido Fawkes/Sunday Times ( Hard Copy ): Reports that Penny Mordaunt is opposed to another 2nd Independence vote and that Mordaunt would appease the EU over the Northern Ireland Protocol by keeping the border in the Irish Sea.  

Lets Get Real:

The Union would come under threat if PM got the job of PM, on the one hand she opposes a 2nd Independence vote for Scotland, but is willing to throw Northern Ireland under the bus, and prevent the establishment of a regional Government for the province.  The DUP has made it CLEAR, they will not go back in to Government with the Nationalists if the Northern Ireland Protocol is not removed or changed in a major way.  The DUP can argue that PM will stand up to the SNP but will not defend the rights of British subjects in Northern Ireland.  Under the LAW if there is no Government in the province after 6 months then there are fresh elections, this would create massive Constitutional problem, the Nationalists could increase their majority and make the DUP and other Unionist Parties feel weak, that could cause more problems in the province even violence, something no one wants to see.  Thus PM has to have a more clear policy, No to the SNP and YES to scrapping parts of the Northern Ireland Protocol in the Northern Ireland, otherwise her administration will start in a confused manner and lead to major problems down the road.

Lets Get Real:

Who really cares about the above, the BBC News and Sky News have the usual suspects, those that have never gotten over Brexit and those in the Conservative Party that were on the WRONG side during Brexit, also those that have always hated PM.  The Conservative Party must know it cannot lose its PM and Chancellor, that would be to much, thus Conservative MPs must hold their nerve, they might loath the PM but the cannot give the Opposition what it wants, if the PM does go then they will demand a General Election, do Conservative MPs really want a leadership contest and a general election, not if they are sane.   Also such developments would please Putin of Russia, that is the last thing that the West needs to give the Kremlin.  Thus Conservative MPs should stay silent and hold their nerve, the PM is not this bloggers favourite PM, but thus far there is no successor, the one person people were talking about, the Chancellor has enough problems with his wife's tax status and his US green card, thus who else, you could have dozen people running, right before we could face World War 3 over the Ukraine.  Thus MPs should stay calm, and not spout their views in public.

It will be interesting to READ THIS BOOK, it seems at the very end that the EU didn't understand why the UK left, that DEMOCRAY was not on their list of important things, the UK voter voted in 2016 for a BREAK with the EU, this was confirmed in the 2019 General Election.  The French are playing games, they have threatened to cut off the to cut of the electricity to Jersey over the fishing limits that they have been set by the UK.   The UK should consider a BOLD option, just revoke the Withdrawal Agreement, the French are playing silly buggers, it is causing a problem in North Ireland, make the Irish Government set up a border on their side of the BORDER.   The SNP in Scotland will have to face the FACT, that if Scotland leaves the UNION, it will lose the POUND and there will need to be BORDERS between England and Scotland. 

General Election Polls - GE1 - General Election 2019

Lets Get Real:

This blog will be keeping an eye on the survation poll, in the 2017 it got the result pretty close to the actual result.  It should be noted that even this poll has the Conservatives on a 8% lead over Labour.  Of course polls are snapshots, they will go up and down, it will be interesting to see how the Brexit Party does, the Party started its election today with an offer of an alliance between the Party and the Conservative Party, it will be interesting to see how many Brexit Candidates challenge the Conservatives, as compared to Labour Seats.  Parliament is dissolved on Wednesday. 

UK General Election on the 12th of December - General Election 2019

This is a good day if you are a CONSERVATIVE and a BREXIT supporter, the UK will have a general election on the 12th of December.   The Conservative Party have to learn the lessons of 2017, no negative Manifesto ideas, get Brexit done, cut taxes, put more police officers walking the streets.  Protect NHS funding in the future.  PM Boris has to keep it simple, show the voters that they can trust the Conservative Party and paint Jeremy Corbyn as old Marxist unfit to be the PM, how Corbyn would take the UK back to the 1970s, strikes, three day week, looking weak around the World.  The Conservatives have to think they are 10 points behind, take the fight to the Labour Party and other anti Brexit parties.   The fight start tonight.

The change of strategy was even a shock to a few SNP MPs, the SNP knows that there is a tough criminal trial coming up in January, and it does not want its image tarred by the Trial, thus this move to support a general election in 2019.  It seems that Labour will have to be dragged in a general election, that does not look good, the older Labour MPs know that some of their colleagues will not be back, and some must secretly hope that they lose so they can get rid of Jeremy Corbyn. This is the chance for the UK voter to make up its mind, one way or another, not another minority Government, the UK system does not work when that happens. 

2nd Suspension of Parliament - General Election 2019?

Lets Get Real:

The PM should suspended Parliament if he does not get a deal on the 19th of October, then barge through to the 31st of October, have the UK out, in essence go through or around the House of Commons and the UK Supreme Court, it was a novel idea that has failed.  Once people are seen celebrating around the UK, it will not matter what this RUMP Parliament thinks, that goes for the Courts ALSO, let them try to pull it back, that would lead to peaceful unrest, since the appeasers and surrender merchants claim to be liberal, well the people are SOVEREIGN at the end, they want out, the RUMP Parliament and UK Supreme Court will just have to take it, defacto we will be OUT.

It was a great performance by PM Boris, he took the fight to the House of Commons, he was helped by AG who called Parliament DEAD.  As the PM stated on many times, the Surrender Act that the RUMP Parliament pushed through before suspension had not helped in his talks with the EU, the Surrender Act, pushed through by HARD REMAINERS showed why this House of Commons is held in such contempt, they are weak, they can not take the HEAT IN THE KITCHEN, they want safe zones to chat, would you want these women, and some even claim to be men in a trench with you, at the first shot they would be running away.  It is no wonder that Universities have so many snowflakes, they can not take debate, they claim to be liberal, but they are VERY ILLIBERAL, they are appeasers and kneel before the EU, Lady Thatcher would have had NONE of them in her Cabinet, they are just WEAK, WEAK, one wonders if they would get a real job outside the House of Commons, I would not hire them, when things are BAD, you want loyalty and devotion Queen and Country, they fall at the floor at there mere mention of the EU.  Let's take the political fight to them, they want abuse the rules, let's abuse them back, declare a State of Emergency and have an election, that would finish off this rabble. 

Labour Shadow Chancellor BACKTRACKS over SNP Alliance - General Election 2019?

Lets Get Real:

One assumes someone in Labour has reminded the Shadow Chancellor that if Scotland goes out of the UK, then there will be NO LABOUR MPs from there and Labour can never form a majority Government.  Or the Leader, Jeremy Corbyn has woken up after TEA and found that his Shadow Chancellor was stating party policy that was counter to the policy of Scottish Labour and of the Labour Party itself.  This is the problem when order has broken down in both political parties, individual MPs start to think they are God's gift and can say what they like and no counter punch.    The UK either way needs a General Election, new MPs are needed that understand the rules, so it is about time that the Conservatives and Labour Parties start to de-select MPs and get order back into the system.  This blog smells an election coming as early as September!

The PM is right to be cautions, the EU could be trying to sell a dud deal to those remainers within the Conservative Party and within Labour.   The PM has to have a deal that she can sell to the House of Commons and the rest of the UK.  The SNP is up to its usual tricks, it now wants a vote on the final deal, what it really wants is to break up the UK, that goes for Plaid Cymru also.   The PM wants a DEAL that she can sell, the EU should see that before it is to late. 

Scotland says NO to another Indy Vote - May Era

The Scottish people are wise, they do not want another Indy vote, the sole purpose for the SNP is to get another vote, if the SNP lose another vote, what is the point of the Party.   The SNP if it was wise would wait to see what happens with the Brexit talks, of course there might not be an agreement, then the SNP could argue that the Scottish people have the right to decide if they want stay within the EU, of course that depends on the Scottish people wanting to stay within the EU and face border points on going to England.  The SNP with its tax hikes might find that they are rebuffed by the Scottish people.

The SNP is playing the FEAR game again, they have not gotten the FACT that the Scottish voters want to remain in the UK and out of the EU.  It is because the Conservatives gain in Scotland that there is a Conservative Government in power, the Scots know that Scotland out of the UK would be a bad deal, the SNP having failed to get a indy vote the first time want to try for another one, the UK Government should say NO, the UK is the United Kingdom, we are united.   Without a Indy vote what is the point of the SNP.  One thing Jeremy Corbyn has been clear about is the fact that the UK will leave the Single Market and the Customs Union, thus SNP can not back up its demands in the House of Commons. 

The Catalan Crisis - Spain

Lets Get Real:

The Madrid Government needs to come down HARD on Catalan, it was an illegal vote, and is a threat to Spain and could cause other areas in the EU to demand they also get a Vote to become an Independent Nation.   The SNP in Scotland must be worried if they try for another vote the Spanish Government could place a block on it becoming a part of the EU.   Thus the Spanish Government has to be FIRM, if need be the troops should be sent in, it is treason to Spain and the Crown.  Madrid needs to send a clear message, this far and no further. 

New Poll - Campaign Trail 14 - GE2017

This is another good poll for the Conservatives, there have been a couple of them, BUT, a single poll does not make victory, it is snapshot of voters on a given day, thus Conservative HQ and Conservative supporters have to carry the message, the Labour Party could win with a small turnout, thus as stated many times in this blog the Party has to get its base out, and also those that want a hard Brexit, let's get it done, the Labour Party is all over the place, it is hard to place Corbyn's previous comments within the present policy, he does not think there should be immigration controls, thus in essence the Labour Party has a policy while the leader has been very quiet today.   The UK voters want stable and strong leadership, the Labour Party would be the coalition of the left and the extreme left, with SNP controlling the strings. Thus only one vote counts, that is a Conservative VOTE. 

The Left Wing Guardian and the Remainers - Camp Trail 7 - GE2017

THIS is the left wing Guardian trying to reverse the will of the UK Voter, they are more interested in keeping the EU happy than the UK voter.   The UK voter can expect more of these kind of stories, the left wing press is treating the UK voter liking a senile OLD PERSON, who does not understand what is right for them.   One can expect the BBC tone not to change much, they were on the attack yesterday asking why the PM would not take parts in DEBATES.   The Conservatives have no friends in the BBC and the Guardian, they are the political enemies of the Government, thus the Party has to act if the they are level or behind Labour, full on attack on CORBYN and the LABOUR PARTY. 

New Poll - Campaign Trail 6 - GE2017

Lets Get Real:

This looks good for the Conservative Party, but and there is always a but, this is the start of the process, lets see what the polls are like by the end of next week, the left wing BBC and the Guardian will try to push pro Labour stories, they will try to undercut the Government. Also there is a difference between a poll done just after a election is announced and one done after the Campaigns have been doing their Campaigns for a bit.  One will be interesting to see if Corby can GET any traction, of course what is interesting is the first round of the French Election is soon, the extreme left wing candidate is polling well, will that appeal hit the UK, one never knows, that is why the Conservatives have to be on their guard, they have to act as if Labour and they are tied, never think you have won it in till its over.

This is the 2nd chance for those that want to leave to the EU to confirm their vote of 2016. The Conservative Party will confirm the will of the UK voter, the Labour Party is confused, even now some say they support a 2nd vote while Jeremy Corbyn says no 2nd vote but wants a SOFT Brexit, in other words the UK would still be under the EU Judges.  The UK voter has a chance in this election to show that the 2016 vote was not a mistake but the will of the British people.  Except soft peddling by the BBC and the Guardian, they are fellow travellers, LEFT.   Thus another month of this voter!!!

PM May on Immigration - Campaign Trail 4 - GE2017

BBC News - Live Reporting: Reports the following in its 5.04pm post, " Theresa May has restated her commitment to cutting annual net migration to a "sustainable" level in the tens of thousands...." We want to see sustainable net migration in this country. I believe that sustainable net migration is in the tens of thousands. Leaving the European Union enables us to control our borders in relation to people coming from the EU, as well as those who are coming from outside." "

Lets Get Real:

The Conservative Party will cut immigration from the EU and other parts of the World, the law of the land will be dealt by the Houses of Parliament, the final say on UK law will be set down by the UK Supreme Court.  IF you want the EU to decide the above just vote for the opposition Parties.   The May Government will be tough with the EU when it comes to Brexit, while the Opposition Parties want to overturn the 2016 EU vote.  The Conservative Party is CLEAR on this, while the elite press of the BBC/Guardian are fellow travellers, as in LEFT.   The worse nightmare for the middle class would be Corbyn as PM, your taxes would go up, it never the rich that pay, and there would be endless immigration.   Thus there is only one Party to vote for if you want sanity. 

May and the TV Debates - Campaign Trail 3

Telegraph: Reports " Theresa May agrees to BBC Question Time-style question and answer televised election debate but not head-to-head with rival leaders "

Lets Get Real:

The PM should be firm when it comes to TV debates, the answer is NO, it is an event that is not under the control of the Party and gives air times to the Opposition, the Opposition have only one target, that is the sitting PM.   The No 10 press office should consider ONE Debate, then leave it up to the TV channels to decide who gets the debate, more than one and it turns in to weekly TV bash against the Government.   The BBC/Guardian types have showed they are biased against the Government, so why place an X on your backside to be shot by political arrows by the TV press.   The PM should be firm, a big NO to more than one debate.
