 fancy meeting any Ukrainian Troops should they take the Kherson region, Moscow is already playing down the Ukrainian Offensive, but as stated before they would say that.  The Kyiv Government has the Russians on the back foot, if they re - take the Kherson region this would be a major blow to Putin and Moscow.  The people of Russia have to smell the coffee at some point, the Russian people have a rich cultured history and one expects better of intelligent people, they should be out in the streets, opposing the Putin Regime, the Moscow PR has stated that the Kyiv Government is Nazi, well the truth is that PUTIN is using the Hitler plan, Putin is a gangster, he kills when he wants too and does not care about the thousands of Russian soldiers killed.  As Stalin once said, a single death is tragic, after that it becomes numbers.  The Mothers in Russia need to get out in the street, shame the rest of the population, even the Russians Army will not resist hundred of thousands on the street, the Russian people did this is 1917 ad 1991, this is the Russian TIME for FREEDOM, otherwise they will be tarred as being the same as Putin.

It has not been a good few days for the Kyiv Government, it has lost numerous cities in the Donbas Region, it did retake SNAKE ISLAND, but these victories are few, the Biden Oval will have to decide sooner or late, to either cut bait, that mean no more high class military weapons for the Ukraine or start to send in combat troops, the US and the West must have gone through their stores of defensive weapons, it will take Western troops to push the Russian back, its coming sooner or later, with the US its always LATER, in 1917 and 1941, at least this time the UK does not have combat troops in the fight, but how long can that last. If Putin is ILL, he will want to take as much of East Ukraine as possible, the West must rearm the Kyiv Government, or it could become a LONG WAR of attrition, the Russians have the men while the West has the weapons for now, something has to give either on the military side or the political side.

The only reason that Russia would leave Snake Island is that they were pushed out  of the Island and most of their new troops are fighting and winning in the Donbas, the Russia PR has shown that it has been very effective IN RUSSIA.  The Russia people really believe they are the good guys and that the KYIV Government are new neo Nazi's, one would like to think that those Russians that are up on I.T would be able to get REAL NEWS from the West.  Thus far there have been no mass demonstrations in the streets against the Putin Regime, it seems that the Regime has placed enough fear on the streets that the people are afraid to ACT against Putin.  The EVIL EMPIRE has gone, thanks to Reagan and Thatcher, while the new EVIL REGIME is still running Russia, the Russian people MUST ACT, this WAR in the Ukraine can only END when either the West wins or Putin does, if Putin wins we could be on the road to WW3.

This is not what Putin's Russia wanted, it wanted a easy victory in the Ukraine and move closer to EU and NATO Countries, it did not expect the WEST to rearm the Ukraine Army and keep the Ukraine in the WAR.  Also Sweden and Finland have asked to join NATO, the UK and US have given security guarantees to both Countries should Turkey play the spoiler, they will be at WAR if Russia invades, and it doe not matter what they think, if the US and the UK in action so will be NATO and Turkey does not have a VETO over that.  The Russians have gained ground in South East Ukraine, the worry for the West is that Putin will declare victory and then it will be down to the carved up state to go in to a long WAR of attrition with Russia in the East.  The Biden OVAL and UK PM Boris could do with a victory, they are under pressure at home.

This is a major military and psychological loss for the Kyiv Government, the Kremlin from taking the above City COULD declare victory and absorb most of South East Ukraine, one green spot is the fact that the Russians have not taken Odesa, the Ukraine Military have placed mines on the sea to prevent Russian from doing a sea invasion, that is why in part the Russians have stolen the grain of Ukraine, they want the Kyiv Government to remove the sea mines, that would allow the grain to get out of the Ukraine but would also allow the Russians to invade Odesa from the sea.  The Russians will do anything to WIN, even starving millions in Africa and costing inflation to raise in the West.  The UK and the USA really need to up the military equipment sent to the Ukraine, the Russians have to be stopped or the WAR could be over and US and the UK in over a year would have lost Afghanistan and the Ukraine.  President Biden needs to wake up, or he will be seen as another Jimmy Carter Mark 2.

The Biden Oval and NATO must make sure that Severodonestsk and Lysychansk do not fall to the Russians, if they take both cities they could have control of the South East Ukraine an declare victory and absorb the area in to Russia and force the Ukraine to go on the offensive, that could lead to trench warfare that could last years.  The question is can Russia and the West keep up with the pace of the WAR, how many poor conscripts will Putin throw in to the mead grinder of the Ukraine War, and will the Western Countries put up with the Russians cutting gas to Europe.  Hungary has already played up, by stopping sanctions on Russia, what is to say that the voters throughout Europe lose interest, the attention span in the West is low, and this WAR will last years or if Putin dies of his mystery illness a lot shorter.  President Biden needs to show that he will not drop the ball on the Ukraine like he did in Afghanistan.

This is a CLEAR WARNING to Russia that the UK is in for the long term and will not betray the KYIV Government, this is not 1938 and the Ukrainian people are not the Czechs of Munich 1938.  The Russian Army is making advances in the Donbas, they are gradually gaining ground, the Ukrainian Army is making the Russian pay for every inch of ground in the East, the problem is that the Russians have millions of men they can throw in to the meat grinder of the Donbas war, also they have closer connection between their men and rearming, food, water.   The Kyiv needs heavy weapons from the West, the West, in this case the UK and the US have really supported KYIV, but now comes the HARDER part, the WAR will be long term, and the West cannot get bored, the people of the Ukraine needs us to prevent the carving up of their COUNTRY by Russia.  Time is of the essence.

The EU needs to pull its finger out and support Poland and Bulgaria, what is the point of being part of the EU if the rest of the EU does not come to support of States that are following EU rules, one assumes the Russian picked on Poland and Bulgaria as an example to Germany, the Berlin Government has gotten off the dime and is NOW giving Tanks to Ukraine, thus this cut off gas to Poland and Bulgaria is a message to BERLIN, be careful how far you go, it is pure blackmail.  Thus the EU needs to gets its hand out or storage tanks to get some gas from Countries that are still getting gas from Russia.  If not what is the point of the EU, thank goodness the UK only gets 5% of its gas from the Russians, we and Germany will be the next target of Russia.

The Germans are finally matching their strong rhetoric with HARD WEAPONS, the last military kit that the Germans sent to the Kyiv Government was thousands of caps.  The new German Government was coming under internal pressure and international pressure to get off the dime and DO SOMETHING.  The above weapons are a good start, the WAR IN THE DONBAS is more of a conventional war and the above weapons, if you include the TANKS from Poland will help the Ukraine Army stall the Russians, make they pay for every inch of grass they want to take.  This blog has been quite surprised that Russians mothers have not gone to the streets with the amount of deaths of Russians Soldiers that has been speculated by the West and the Ukraine Government.  The Russian PR must have done its job, its seems that a majority of the Russians people think that RUSSIA is fighting the Nazis in the Ukraine, of course its RUBBISH, but it shows why Putin has eliminated free and independent press in the Russian Federation.

The above remarks will be  used by Moscow, its will feed in to their message to the Russian people that the US and NATO are the enemy and that the US is backing Ukraine to the HILT.  The US wants to stop Putin from invading any other Country, such as the Baltic States and Poland.  The question is how far will Putin go to WIN.  There has been talk that he will use WMD, such as chemical weapons or low grade tactical nuclear weapons, US intelligence gives a 1% chance of that happening, but what if the WAR in the Ukraine goes on for ages, months and even years, how much long will Putin wait before he loses his judgement, one can postulated that he has already lost his sanity by going in to the Ukraine, there will be no more photo op with President Biden or other high ranking US or UK officials, no wants to find that they are accused of shaking hands with another Hitler.  The US is tied to Ukraine, it was thought that US was tied to Afghanistan, but with Biden as President you never know the outcome.

Are we seeing on our TV's the start of the destruction of Odesa, the destruction of Mariupol and the deaths in Bucha have shown that the Russians do not care about human rights and will kill for the fun of it, that the Russian Command Structure supports such action shows that Russia has no honour and is the top of nations when it comes to having rogue regimes.  The West made a mistake in 2014 by not pushing back against the take over of the CRIMEA, this allowed Putin to think that the West was weak and would not come to the defence of other States that Russia might attack.   Thus President Biden who was Vice - President at the time needs to show that he will go the distance and will never allow Putin to win, we do not want to see another CITY destroyed.  One hopes that the West has given the Kyiv defence equipment to prevent missile attacks on Odesa.  The Russians will say or do anything to win, one has to remember that they could use WMD or low level tactical nuclear missiles in towns that they want or just to destroy.

One hopes that the SAS ( Special Air Service ) is in the Ukraine, they will be able to teach the Ukrainian Soldiers how to use the heavy military equipment that the UK will be sending to help the Ukraine Army fight the Russians in the East and South Ukraine.  The Ukrainian Army will be need to taught how to create successful sabotage operations on land that is suited for Russian tanks, and how to cause havoc to Russian supplies.   The WAR in the Ukraine is going to last a long time, and now we know that the Russians want to take the whole of the South and East Ukraine.  If the Russians are allowed to do this, it would create a major threat to other NATO States.  The Baltic States have small Russian minorities, the Kremlin will want them back if they can be successful in the Ukraine, and the costs of Defence will hit the roof if NATO has to double its defensive line in the Baltic States and Poland and Germany.  Also if Finland and Sweden to join NATO, the Russians are sure to pull something to equal the score.  The next few weeks will be crucial for Europe and western security.

The Kremlin wants to starve the Ukrainian Soldiers and those innocent people still in the Steel Plant, thus the WORLD has to wait and wait in till either the Ukrainian Soldiers either fight and die or surrender, and then that leaves those innocent people, will they be given a safe passage and on what terms, they could be forced to go to Russia.  The Russians are bombing the place as we speak, they can just wait.   The West might not be able to save Mariupol but it can save the Ukraine, the US and the UK have to increase the transfer of weapons and arms to the Kyiv Government and other heavy military kit, at some point down the road, the US and the UK might have to send in troops, its the last thing they want to do, but they cannot allow Putin to WIN, that would be a disaster for Ukraine, they would be landlocked, based on the strategy that the Russians go for Odessa, and can keep the land they take.  Also the Russians would be far to close to NATO Countries, Putin has showed he is mad and without honour or reason.

Thus far US intelligence has been spot on when it comes to Russian plans, a 1% risk is good for the West, as the US and the UK do not have to worry about Russian going bonkers and launching a tactical nuclear weapon at the Ukraine, if they did that it would bring in the West, in this case NATO.  Thus the UK and US need to hurry up with military supplies to the Kyiv Government, they have to move them to the East of the Country, the War in the Donbas has started already, the Russians have thousands of troops, the question is are they new conscripts or old soldiers called back to the flag.  NATO and the West has to much to lose if Russia wins, it would increase the chances of WW3, thus Russia must be prevented from getting Odessa and blocked in the East.  Putin must be seen to LOSE no matter the cost or the risk of nuclear action by the Kremlin.

Lets Get Real:

The Western economic growth has been hit by the WAR in the UKRAINE, the various leaders will have to deal with the economic consequences, such as high inflation in the US, the highest since the 1980s, the approval rating for POTUS is in the toilet,  while in the UK wages have not gone up with inflation, thus people are finding it hard to eat or heat their homes, also the cost of gas has gone up, thus people are finding that their family budgets have been hit and has required some families to use food banks.  Also the Conservative Government has increases taxes, the highest since the 1950s, as to help the NHS and to help with future social care for the elderly.  And of course the Westminster bubble of the left wing press, Guardian, Channel 4, Sky News, BBC News, The Times, are more concerned about how many parties the PM attended in 10 Downing Street during lockdown.  The Elite press hated BREXIT and hate the PM.  Thus the one thing that is saving the PM is the fact that Russia invaded the Ukraine, and we could be facing World War 3, thus both POTUS and PM have found themselves having to throw the sink of sanctions at Russia, while arming the KYIV Government, the West needs the Ukraine to WIN or at least push Russia back to the map before they started the WAR. 

On the Russian side, Putin after the sinking of Black Sea Flagship has to show a victory to the Russian people, he has hidden how many young Russian conscripts have been killed, it could range from fifteen to twenty thousand, more that were killed in Afghanistan between 1979 - 89.  Thus the Kremlin wants to declare victory on May 9th, the day the Russian people their sole victory over Nazi Germany, the West has been written out of the script, one has to say the Russian PR on the Russian people has been very effective, they think the West is the enemy, while the real enemy is in the Kremlin, a WAR CRIMINAL at that.  Thus Putin wants to declare victory in East Ukraine on the 9th.  The next few week are very important for Russia and the West.

As the analyses piece states, the Ukraine military need the weapons from the WEST NO, not tomorrow, on paper this is for the Russians to lose, but one would have said that about their advance in the North and they lost that was forced out.  The Biden Oval really has to up its game, if they want to STOP PUTIN NOW before he can cause any more death and destruction in Europe they have to make sure that the Kyiv Government has the arms and weapons and the heavy stuff to defeat the Russians.  As noted in the report the Russians are taking risk attacking supply routes that come across the border, if they hit NATO Countries it would lead to an escalation by the West.   Thus the US President and the UK PM have to be up to the developing phase of the WAR in the East, both leaders could do with a win, the Biden Oval has the Mid Terms in November and the UK PM has partygate and the calls for him to resign.  Thus its moral and political terms, the LEADERS need a big win, and means by the Ukraine winning in the East.

Lets Get Real:

One does have to take a pinch of salt everything the Russians say, they LIE as they breathe.  The KYIV Government has made it clear if the Russians kill those still holding out in Mariupol the talks will come to an end.  The Russians have bombed ALL OVER the Ukraine in reaction to the Ukraine Army sinking their flagship with two missiles.  The Russian TV are all over the place, they say their ship went down to a fire that lit the ammunition on the ship, but also the action means that World WAR 3 has already started. Even the most simple Russia must smell a rat, that the Kremlin is using PR to justify that WAR that is illegal and is not going well.  The coming days should see heavy bombing of South West Ukraine and other areas that have not been bombed, the Russians are making a point, they have a might army and enough rockets to damage most of the Ukraine.   The West needs to supply the Kyiv Government with more military kit, the West cannot afford to allow Putin to win in the Ukraine.

As Russia prepares to intensify its attack in the Donbas region, the United States will continue to provide Ukraine with the capabilities to defend itself....This new package of assistance will contain many of the highly effective weapons systems we have already provided and new capabilities tailored to the wider assault we expect Russia to launch in eastern Ukraine. These new capabilities include artillery systems, artillery rounds, and armored personnel carriers. I have also approved the transfer of additional helicopters. In addition, we continue to facilitate the transfer of significant capabilities from our Allies and partners around the world.....The steady supply of weapons the United States and its Allies and partners have provided to Ukraine has been critical in sustaining its fight against the Russian invasion. It has helped ensure that Putin failed in his initial war aims to conquer and control Ukraine. We cannot rest now. As I assured President Zelenskyy, the American people will continue to stand with the brave Ukrainian people in their fight for freedom.  "

Lets Get Real:

The Biden Administration must know its cheaper to supply Ukraine with what it needs than allow the Ukraine to FALL and have Putin breathing down NATO's neck in the Baltic States or just over the border from Poland.  Thus the US policy has worked so far, but and there is always a but, the ground in the EAST UKRAINE is more suited to tanks, there are reports of heavy rain over the next few days that should force the tanks to stay on the roads, that would allow the Ukrainian Forces to do guerrilla attacks on Russian forces.   The battle in East the Ukraine in the view of KYIV will be like World War 2, numerous tanks, military vehicles, thousands of Soldiers, and fighter jets,  the result of this battle could define the outcome of the WAR.  Putin wants to declare VICTORY on May 9th, the day that Russia celebrates the defeat of Nazi Germany, as stated in previous post it has been reported that Putin has ordered that the centre of MARIUPOL be cleared of the mess, the Kremlin wants good pictures as PR.  The Kyiv and the West has to spoil that outcome, the West cannot afford to give Putin a victory.  Thus Biden for national security reasons and its good politics, the Mid Terms are in November,  must give Kyiv WHAT IT WANTS, they are the force holding back the Russian WAR CRIMINAL ARMY.

At the Biden White House did not try to walk the above comments back, thus the next question is, what is POTUS going to do to STOP Genocide in the Ukraine.  There is a report that the Russians have used chemical weapons in MARIUPOL, a place they have destroyed, this has not been confirmed by the US or the UK.  The Kyiv Government now faces a MAJOR WAR in the East, there will be a lot of tanks and fighters jets in the action, the West has to supply KYIV with what they need, Putin cannot be allowed to have his celebration day on May 9th.  It has been reported that the Kremlin has ordered that the CENTER of Mariupol be cleaned up for the day of victory.   The US and the UK must do everything they can to prevent this, if Putin wins in the Ukraine then the Baltic States, and Poland come under THREAT from Putin.  The West needs the battle for the Ukraine to remain in the Ukraine, if Putin wins he knows he can try it again with Finland WHO might become a member of NATO after the WAR in the Ukraine.
