Russian CALL - UP Update - Ukraine - Russian War - Biden Era

Thus so far the resistance has been limited and on the whole Russian security can deal with them, but one only has to look at what happened in 1917, when Russia was on the backfoot with World War 1, the Soldiers marched with their feet, thus Putin has to worry about the following, the HARD RIGHT in Russia is blaming the Russian Defence Department for the failures in the Ukraine, they want more extreme action, thus the use of tactical nuclear weapons, Putin must be aware from the US that is a no go area, if Putin did use a tactical nuclear weapon in the Ukraine that would drag in NATO and the US, then it all could get out of hand.  On the hand, Putin would see what happened to Tsar Nicholas II when he as forced to abdicate in 1917 when the Russia was going down the toilet due to World War 1, thus Putin does not want to be a failed leader, he has made to many enemies, so what does Putin do, does he wait in till WINTER and hope to break Western Europe when it comes to sanctions, or does try to get a dirty deal with the WEST, another Munich were the Western Europe sells out the Ukraine, for the increase of Russian gas that fuels the Western Economy.  One could expect the Germans, French, Hungary and maybe ITALY who have a new right wing government to place pressure on the Ukraine to give Putin what he wants, one can only hope that the US and the UK would oppose that move.  The next few days will be critical for Russia and Western Europe. 

Russian Resistance to Putin's Call Up - Ukraine - Russian War - Biden Era

Lets Get Real:

Putin always knew that a partial call up would cause problems, thus the reason that he has called up men from the outer areas of Russia, less so with the larger Cities, but even then those that have protested have been arrested and sent to the front line in the Ukraine.  President Putin has major military problem, the Ukraine Army has gained in the North East of the Ukraine, this has shocked the Kremlin and Russian Army, Kremlin has declared that it wants three hundred thousand men who have had previous military experience, to be called up, it seems the recruiting personnel have been over eager to please the Kremlin, eve taking those that are either far to old or should not be called up.  The big development will be when the results of the 4 referendums are declared, PUTIN can then argue that the Kremlin has the obligation to defend the new areas that have joined Russia, even with the use of tactical nuclear weapons, PUTIN is either doing the biggest bluff or he means it when it says that the Kremlin will use ALL means to defend the lands of Mother Russia, even those areas absorbed from the Ukraine.  The next few weeks could be VERY dangerous.

Lets Get Real:

One hopes the Biden Oval has been very CLEAR, that the use of any nuclear weapons in the Ukraine would LEAD to the US taking action, either a US strike or the US placing troops in to the Ukraine.  The Biden Oval also has to watch in case there is coup in the Kremlin, someone worse that Putin might come along and would use nuclear weapons, of coup a liberal coup, getting out of the Ukraine and Crimea would be welcomed.  The fixed referendums are happening today in Russian controlled areas, the West has already called them illegal, and not worth the paper they are written on, one can assume near 100% vote to be part of Russia, the Russians are not that subtle.  The Putin Kremlin then will argue, that any attack on these areas is a attack on Russia prober, thus the ability to use nuclear weapons, the next few days could be very dangerous.

The one major difference between 1972 and 2022, is the fact that Liz Truss is from the Thatcher school for tough leadership, also the Barber boom lasted eighteen months, enough time for a General Election and Unions are not as powerful as they were once, Heath took on the miners, there are no more mines for miners, only those in private hands, also since everyone is going green, there are other areas to get power to the grid, no more 3 day week as there was in the 1970s.  The Conservative Governments have made it harder to go on strike, and the new mini budget has reforms in this area, strikes will only be allowed if any deal offered has been placed before the members of Unions, before a strike is legal.  This mini budget will make it harder for the Labour Party, the Party can hardly go in to an election with tax hikes, as everyone knows that after the rich get clobbered is the middle class that has to pay the debts of the Labour Party.  Thus this was a good mini Budget, the Conservatives are back!

This is what Conservative Governments are elected to do, CUT TAXES for the individual and for business, the Chancellor has cut 1p off tax for individuals and revoked last years new NI rate to help the NHS and social care.  The Truss Government should go further, in the Budget in November there should be more tax cuts, also it should be recalled that there is a energy cap over the next two years that will help with the cost of living crisis, the Government help covers all people, the previous Chancellor stated that even people on forty five thousand a year would have to curb their belts.  This new economic agenda, will show that there is clear blue water between the Conservatives and Labour Party, the Conservatives are the Party of LOWER TAXES for ALL, while the Labour Party is the Party of HIGH TAXES, will the Labour say that they will cut taxes at the next election, one doubts, the Labour Party always want to spend, Sir Keir Starmer is going to miss former PM Boris!

One really hopes the Biden Oval has a back channel to the Kremlin, and makes CLEAR, that any use of nuclear weapons, whatever their yield will lead to a FIRM US military reaction.  The fixed or if you like sham referendums in Russian held land in the Ukraine will happen this weekend, it can be expected that near a 100% will vote to become part of Russia, thus from Putin's viewpoint, any attack on these areas is an attack on Russia itself, thus nuclear weapons will be allowed.  At some some point someone has to blink, one is concerned that President Biden, who has tried to appease Iran, will blink first, one worries about Biden, can he take the the HEAT of a real war, does he have the bottle, will he fail as LBJ did over Vietnam, fearing a lose bomb could cause China to come in to the War.  Biden has to find his inner JFK, Reagan, Bush 43 even, the Ukraine cannot be LOST.

The West has woken up to the FACT that Putin is another HITLER, even by this morning news on the partial mobilisation of Russian Forces, Putin has followed Hitler's move to Total War after the failure in Russia with Stalingrad, also Putin has learned the lessons of Vietnam, he has not gone for a general mobilisation because he would have students on the streets against the WAR and they would be joined by their parents.   The younger Russians can see and connect the dots thus many taking one way tickets out of Russia on the latest commercial planes , otherwise they will be next to be cannon fodder for Putin's War in the Ukraine, thus best to get out NOW, and not wait to be called up.  As to Putin statement that he is not bluffing, Putin knows he either wins the WAR in the Ukraine, or he is toast, and failed Russian leaders do not have a good end, Tsar Nicholas II is a classic example and Hitler at the end of World War 2.  The question that has to be asked, how far will the West escalate this WAR in the Ukraine, what if Putin does use a low level nuclear device in the Ukraine, as to frighten off Ukrainian Forces and the West, what will the West do.  At this moment the West does not have a FDR or Winston Churchill in place, one does hope that Western leaders find their inner Churchill or else the West and Russia could do down a very dark road.
