Lets Get Real:

This is the BIG MO time for Kamala Harris, she has to follow through, she should spend a LOT OF TIME IN IOWA, the voters in Iowa like to get ot know their candidates, talk to them in their living rooms, talk policy.   The same can be said in New Hampshire, they see Presidential candidates every cycle.   Barack Obama grew support when he showed he could win white votes in the early states, this could be 2007 all over again, the Harris Campaign has to spend a lot of time and money in Iowa, if they can win there, then the road might lead to the Oval Office.  On the other hand Biden has to make sure that he wins New Hampshire like HRC did in 2007 and thus keeping her campaign afloat.   The poor people of Iowa and NH are going to start to see a lot of pols and political adverts.   If you are political geek you love that, if you are not in to politics, take prozac or drink a lot.

Lets Get Real:

The MORE the Democrats go left, the more people will give money to the Trump Re - Election Committee, whatever they might think of Trump as an individual, they know that he is good for the economy and their wallets, and at the end of the day that all that matters.   It can be postulated that the Trump Oval thinks that the Democrats will chose VP Biden, the recent Democratic debate does risk making that not true, it is noticeable that POTUS has not given a nickname to Senator Harris, with Biden it is Sleepy Joe, could it be that POTUS does see Harris as more of a threat and thus does not want to take her on, with the hope that the Biden Campaign can stop her BIG MO after the 2nd Democratic Debate.  The vote in IOWA and NH is in the distant future, it will be interesting to see how much POTUS is critical of Harris.

Lets Get Real:

The Democratic Establishment is worried, thus these attacks on Senator Harris, a recent poll by CNN had Biden down by 10% and a upswing for Senator Harris.  One debate does not make a victory, otherwise would have had Presidents Mondale, Kerry, and McCain.  VP Biden has been out of the trenches for a few years, also he was Vice - President, in other words nobody cared what he said.  The Biden Campaign can not hide Biden, all the main Democratic contenders were on the Sunday TV shows, where was BIDEN, hiding in his cave.  The form VP has to get out and meet the voters, he will have to do this in Iowa and NH when it's very cold and press pack will be peeved that they are not covering Trump in the warmth of Florida.   There was the idea as noted in the article that there could be a Biden/Harris ticket, well when you basically call someone a racist that idea is off the books.  Senator Harris has to go ALL IN, take the nomination from Biden, or least make him work hard for the nomination.   As a side note it was interesting to see Mayor Pete get millions for his campaign, the left Democratic base might be a looking for a reason to support the Mayor, he is the future of the Democratic Party if Harris does not get the nomination and Biden losses in 2020.

This is an interesting development, WHY has the Speaker done this, it has been known for ages that he is BIAS and will change the rules to do what he wants.  One assumes that even he could not defend Government Departments having no money, no welfare, that would bring the demonstrators OUT ON TO THE STREETS.  Or of course when a Speaker leaves OFFICE, he normally goes to the House of Lords, one does wonder that the threat the he would not get that honours might have twigged.   On the other hand he just did the right thing because it was the right thing, this blog has given up on BREXIT, it would require the UK to leave at the end of October, the HARD REMAINERS will find a way to thwart the Democratic hopes of the people.

The UK if it comes to battle will have to support the US, agreement between the US and Iran can not be put back together again, the hawks in the White House want a battle, one gets the impression that hawks in Tehran also want a battle, if nothing else to make sure their regime is safe.  Thus far the White House has been quiet, how much of a DOVE can Trump be before even the HIS base of the Republican Party start to question their leader.  Also it allows the Democrats to be the hawks on national security, YES the Democrats.  One expects some comment or reaction from the White House, thus far NOTHING, one wonders if POTUS is trying to hide from the story, sooner or later Iran must be dealt with.

While the World watches the demonstrations in Hong Kong, the real important story is this latest development from Iran.  One would bet's one mortgage on the fact that Israel is on the phone to the US, demanding that it should do something, or they will.  One only has to recall the history of the area, when Iraq was on its way to a nuclear facility in 1981 Israel struck, then in 2007 when Syria was the same path, Israel repeated its strike.  The World knows that Israel has the bomb, it's the ultimate defence shield, but it can only be used once, and Israel likes to take traditional methods such as air strikes when it feels under threat.  One almost gets the impression that Tehran is booking the America Eagle, it has to be careful that the US does not do its own strike, the Trump Oval has to show that is strong somewhere and it could be Iran.

Are the Democrats trying to get Trump re-elected in 2020, they want to give medical cover to illegal migrants, they want to abolish private health care, and now there is one of the WORST Presidents in US history, Jimmy Carter attacking POTUS.   One only has to recall the 1977 - 81 period and a shiver goes down one's spine, Carter without question is one of the worse Oval Office holders ever, the economy was in the tank, unemployment was high, then we come to the Russian invasion of Afghanistan and the US hostages held in Iran for 444 days.  When Reagan was sworn in as President, the sun came out, the hostages were returned, and Reagan bought tax cuts, cuts in welfare, increase defence spending, at the end  of his two terms, US inflation was down, unemployment was low, the Cold War was over, as Lady Thatcher said Reagan had won the Cold War without firing a shot.   The USSR started to leave Afghanistan, the Berlin Wall came down, Eastern Europe was free of communism, in 1991 the USSR dissolved  President Carter should really be quiet, he is not helping the Democrats.
