POTUS and the Media - The 100 Day Mark

Lets Get Real:

The relationship between POTUS and the press is at a all time low, they loath each other, there is no respect between the Oval Office and the press.   The press was in the tank for Hillary Clinton 2016, they are still in state of shock that someone like Trump could be the successor to their President, former President Obama.   The press are the liberal elite of US Society, they have one agenda, LIBERAL, thus Republican Presidents never get fair treatment.  The press will never give praise to Trump, or if they have too it is through closed teeth.   On the other hand, Trump does not understand that the press is the fourth Estate, they are there to keep D.C honest, well as honest as it can be, thus they are extra tough on Republicans.   Thus the WAR carries on, 

Thin Ice - Doctor Who Review

Lets Get Real:

This was a cracking episode, the Doctor and Bill were on great from, they argued about the Doctor's reaction to death, to go on the next thing, while Bill asked all the questions a Time Traveller would ask.   The THREAT ( no spoilers ) was more human than alien, it showed the racism of the period, and the Doctor was allowed to give a great speech, on the value of life.   Okay he hat hit the enemy with a left hook, but in context it could be understood.  The Doctor was not above forgery for  a good cause, the question is what is in the vault.  People start to watch this season, it is the best yet, the Doctor needs you, those BBC have to see that there is a viewership for the Doctor and the Tardis.

Lets Get Real:

AS this blog has warned the Conservatives can not take the General Election for granted, it must work as if it is 10 points behind, as stated the BBC ( a lot of voters watch it ) is soft peddling Labour aims, it has not stressed that Labour is all over the place on Brexit and has no real defence policy, it is pushing social issues.  The Conservatives should use the Council Elections as a trial run for its get out the vote strategy for June 8th.   The Conservatives have to stress low taxes, a good economy, a strong defence and a clean Brexit.   Conservative HQ has allowed Labour to gain 4 points, they have to be hit harder. 

POTUS on North Korea - North Korean Crisis

BBC News: Reports " US President Donald Trump has said he would like to solve the North Korea crisis diplomatically, but that a "major, major conflict" is possible. "

Lets Get Real:

The Trump Oval is trying two paths, the diplomatic and the military, it is giving credit to China in its pressure on North Korea, one has to ask is China trying hard enough, it could bring the regime to its knees tomorrow, cut off the lights and banking, but so far it has not, and also it is still trading as a BBC piece yesterday showed.   The Oval is making it clear that it wants ALL of North Korea's nuclear material and devices, but does not want to change the Regime.   The question is will Kim Jong-un the young leader understand that this is his get out route and also a way to save face.   Of course Pyongyang might recall that Iraq stated it had no nuclear weapons in 2003 and was not believed by the US or the rest of the World, thus the 2nd Gulf War and the fall of the regime.  Tricky times in Asia.

No TV Debates - Campaign Trail 16 - GE2017

Lets Get Real:

Jeremy Corbyn is a FOOL, he has fallen in to the Conservative TRAP, the Conservatives can now say that since Corbyn will not appear with the other opposition candidates then the PM will not appear.   The Corbyn Campaign better up its game or it will go down to the biggest defeat in UK political history, the UK will become a ONE PARTY state in till 2030.  The Conservatives have to stress that Corbyn is a risk to national security, that he would rise the taxes of the people, that it is always the Middle Class that get hit when there is a Labour Government.  Also he will betray the EU vote in 2016, Corbyn is the best asset the Conservatives have at the moment. 

Is North Korea planning for WAR ? - North Korean Crisis

Lets Get Real:

With both the US and North Korea doing War drills it only takes a mistake to start a war, the US and South Korea have to be careful that they do not talk themselves in to War, the worry is that North Korea takes the US drills as the first stages of war planning.  Of courses the US and South Korean drills can not be called off, that would be what North Korea wants and blackmail would win, the US and South Korea should increase it defence skills, make clear that the US and its allies will do what it takes to defend the alliance in Asia.  The Trump Oval should be on the phone to China, telling them they need to be even tougher on North Korea. On the UK's news shows stated that the North Korean Crisis could be compared to the Cuban Missile Crisis of 1962, IF it is its a slow Crisis, lets hope it remains below boiling. 

New Polls - Conservative LEAD - Campaign Trail 15 - GE2017

Topline figures with changes from MORI’s last pre-campaign poll are CON 49%(+6), LAB 26%(-4), LDEM 13%(nc), UKIP 4%(-2)...Panelbase also put out their first campaign poll today. Topline figures there are very much in line with other companies, with topline figures of CON 49%, LAB 27%, LD 10%, UKIP 5% "

Lets Get Real:

Thus two polls that have the Conservative Party on 49%, that is not a bad start for a six week Campaign.  It will be interesting to see the polls after the political parties release their manifestos, that might effect the polls, the Labour Party has a MAJOR PROBLEM, the leader does not support having nuclear weapons and would never use them if he become the PM.   The Conservatives and the Liberal Democrats support the UK having its nuclear weapons, thus Labour offers a good target over the next six weeks, the UK voter wants to be protected from the likes of North Korea, and thus do not trust LABOUR, no matter how much the put up the wages of Nurses and Doctors.  On the whole a good week for the Conservatives.
