Lets Get Real:

As stated the main stream media hate the thought that President Trump could have been right about North Korea, they think that he is not up to meeting with Kim Jung - un and that a meeting between the two could cause more problems.  This is a historic moment for Trump, it is like when Reagan and Gorbachev agreed to a further Summits after their first meeting, sometimes you have to just roll the dice and to see what happens, with those Summits we saw the end of the Cold War.   In the end the fall of the USSR.   The meeting between the US and North Korea could be the start of talks, better than WAR on the whole, so let's see what happens, if nothing else it will open another path to talks.  The US should be wary but that should not stop talking.

Lets Get Real:

The main stream media ( MSM ) WILL not be happy, they might have to say that Trump was right in his handling of the North Korean Crisis, that will be hard for them to take, even more so if Trump goes North Korea, the press will want to be on Air Force One if there is such a visit.  The President can have his revenge by snubbing the networks that have not been fair to him, this could be his Nixon goes to China moment.   Of course this is just the start, it could all fall apart as fast as it happened.    The US State Department will have a lot of lifting to do, also there is no US Ambassador in South Korea, thus the Trump Administration is lacking personnel on the ground.  This could be a historic meeting, but it could fall apart, as stated Trump and his Administration has to be very wary!!

The Russian Government must be bought to task for its actions in the UK, the FSB must think it has a free hand to murder its former agents in the UK, the UK should demand a meeting of NATO and UN, the May Government should place heavy sanctions on the Russian Government  and get the EU to follow suit.   President Putin is a former KGB agent, he must be bought to trial before a World Court, his crimes are numerous.  The May Government should have a word with the Trump Oval, get him to enforce US sanctions against Russia, make Moscow pay for its crimes.

Lets Get Real:

There must be a reality to any Trump meeting with the North Korean leader, the Trump Oval has to be concerned that it is played, that the North Korean want the PR but will do actually nothing or will make the US look like a sucker, the North Korea must agree to get rid of their nuclear weapons and ambitions.   The US through the CIA must make sure that North Korea follows through with any pledges, the UN could be part of the process.   President Trump is a PR President, that must not be allowed to negate US policy aims.

The White House: Here is the full invite from North Korea for POTUS to meet Kim Jong-un, " Remarks by Republic of Korea National Security Advisor Chung Eui-Yong...Good evening.  Today, I had the privilege of briefing President Trump on my recent visit to Pyongyang, North Korea.  I’d like to thank President Trump, the Vice President, and his wonderful national security team, including my close friend, General McMaster.

I explained to President Trump that his leadership and his maximum pressure policy, together with international solidarity, brought us to this juncture.  I expressed President Moon Jae-in’s personal gratitude for President Trump’s leadership.

I told President Trump that, in our meeting, North Korean leader Kim Jong-un said he is committed to denuclearization.  Kim pledged that North Korea will refrain from any further nuclear or missile tests.  He understands that the routine joint military exercises between the Republic of Korea and the United States must continue.  And he expressed his eagerness to meet President Trump as soon as possible.

President Trump appreciated the briefing and said he would meet Kim Jong-un by May to achieve permanent denuclearization.

The Republic of Korea, along with the United States, Japan, and our many partners around the world remain fully and resolutely committed to the complete denuclearization of the Korean Peninsula.  Along with President Trump, we are optimistic about continuing a diplomatic process to test the possibility of a peaceful resolution.

This is historic, but there needs to be caution, North Korea has not changed over night, it still has its own Gulag, there are hundred thousands in jail, including whole families.   The US State Department should have talks with North Korea, they have to make sure before a Presidential meeting that there is a good deal to get, the Trump Oval does not want to make North Korea seem normal, they have killed a US Citizen.  There is hope but it must be realistic hope.

Lets Get Real:

The Chancellor is a firm remainer but is keeping to the May script.   The draft outline by the EU is just the start of the talks, both sides will have to give and take.   The UK has the monies that the EU wants for its budget, thus is not powerless, while the EU can grant access to the Customs Union and the single market.   The UK is closer to the EU than other free trade deals done by the EU, also outside economics we  have a common history , well since 1945.  Also we share frameworks for security and other areas.   The deal should not be that hard to do.   It depends IF both sides come to the table is an open and non ideological manner.

The EU will lose UK monies after the UK leaves the EU, for the EU not to be hurt the EU must be forced to agree a Canada plus plus deal, the best free trade agreement ever.  There will be those in the EU who want the UK to pay for leaving, that would be a mistake on their part.   The UK wants a good relationship with the EU, nearly 44% of our export go to the EU, the UK wants to keep that and open more agreements with other Countries.  It is up to the EU how much they harm themselves, the UK is a willing partner.
