Let really hopes that the PM Boris means the above, he had to face former PM May who is fast becoming the Ted Heath of the Conservative Party, a leader who cannot get over losing the leadership.  One does hope that Boris does not want to be a backseat driver, like Thatcher wanted with Sir John Major.  That was a disaster for the Major while he was PM.  The fact is that Boris, is a very charismatic leader and he is very young, thus he can come back later on if he wants too.  The Conservative  Party needs to look forward and not back, thus the UK needs tax cuts, we have the highest tax rate in 70 odd years.  The last time they were that high was in 1949 under a Labour Government.  Also PM Truss needs to go big on the cost of living, it has been suggested that the Government will freeze energy costs, that will cost one hundred billion, yes BILLION, at some point the British people must not expect the Government to bail them out, this is not this time, we have just come through the pandemic and supporting the Ukraine in its war against Russia.  Thus the energy hikes by Russia.  It is going to be a tough couple of months for new PM Liz.

Thus the non breaking news that Liz Truss has won the Conservative Party leadership, that has been on the cards for WEEKS, this blog even got bored with it, Liz Truss is the deserved winner, she did not stab Boris in the back, unlike Rishi Sunak.  The newish Conservative Government can start with TAX CUTS, and getting rid of the Sunak TAX HIKES, also massive spending to help with the cost of living, in other words the high rate of inflation and the gas hikes due to the WAR in Russia.  PM Truss will have to stand up to the the EU and Russia, it has been reported that the new PM will invoke Article 16 with the EU, while pushing through the Northern Ireland Protocol Bill, while with Russia, the PM should make a visit to KYIV.  It is going to be a tough couple of months on the economic side, even if Conservative MPs become difficult they cannot throw out another PM, they are stuck with PM Truss, they are going to miss PM Boris.

The Tehran Regime is playing the EU and the US, one can postulated at this moment that Iran already has the bomb or is close to it.  The Tehran has been quite open its press statements, you have to be Neville Chamberlain not to believe that Iran has the bomb or is a few months short.  The response from Iran is the last thing Biden needed at the moment, he is on a roll with the Congress, he being firm with Russia over Ukraine, he does not need the political headache of appeasing Iran, it can be stated that a few Democrats will oppose it, and he would be denounced as a appeaser if the tries to cut sanctions on Iran.  The Biden Oval will try to avoid doing anything, it wants to get the Mid Terms over with first, if it wants to appease and cant because of the Republicans have taken the House, and few Conservative Democrats in the Senate will oppose any new deal.  Thus Biden can say to himself he tried.  On the other hand if Biden needs to attack Iran or allow Israel to attack it would be better after the Mid Terms, the Democrats on the LEFT will go bonkers, but then Biden is hardly their favourite President.  Developing story!  

No Official State Funeral for President Gorbachev - Putin's Russia

The funeral will not be a STATE FUNERAL as noted in the article, but there will be aspects such as a honour guard, the fact that Putin went to see Gorbachev in his open casket but will not attend the funeral is very odd, it just might be a Russian thing.  There was no love lost between Putin and Gorbachev, Putin has reversed the Gorbachev agenda when it comes to Russian democracy, reform and freedom.  If you call the War in the Ukraine a WAR you get thrown in to prison.  The Free press has been shutdown, the Western Nations are backing the Ukraine, while Russia has the backing of China and Iran. In other words the other rogue nations.  The Russians action in the Ukraine has shown that the Russian Soldier is a WAR CRIMINAL, and that the Russian leadership are following in the footsteps of Stalin. Hostility to the West and repression at home.  Putin has ruined the Gorbachev legacy.  As Putin is not going to the funeral, it means that the Western Leaders do not have to go, they are banned anyway.  One does wonder, what Reagan, Thatcher will be saying to Gorbachev on his arrival up stairs. 

IAEA arrive at Zaporizhzhia nuclear plant - Ukraine - Russia War - Biden Era

It will be interesting to see if the IAEA mission to the nuclear plants goes off without any trouble, one expects the Russians will try to to a FALSE FLAG operation, bomb the plant and to try and blame the KYIV Government.  The Russians have shown that they are WAR CRIMINIALS and do not follow the rules of WAR, their actions have shown that there is no military order in the Russian Army and that President does not care about the costs of war.  It will be the job of the IAEA to make sure the Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Plant is in working order and the Ukraine Staff are not being threatened by Russian Forces who control the plant.  This will be a developing story through the day.

A State Funeral for Gorbachev ? - Putin's Russia

The above article is right, the idea of Western Leaders going to Moscow is out of the question, how could they go with the WAR IN THE UKRAINE, also this blog does not trust that the leaders would be secure in Moscow, Putin does not play fair or understand the rules.  Of course Putin could play games with the West, declare that Gorbachev will have a State Funeral, thus forcing Western Leaders to decline going, so Putin gets the benefit of looking to Russians like a Statesman.   The Western Leaders should hold a memorial for Gorbachev either in Washington D.C, London or Berlin.  This would show that the West was showing respect to a great leader, while showing to Russians that their leader is a rogue leader in charge of a rogue nation.  Reagan, Thatcher had a State Funerals, so Gorbachev deserves his to be a State Funeral, the West was lucky in the 80s to have Reagan in the Oval, Thatcher in No 10 and Gorbachev in the Kremlin, what ever the majority of Russians think.

It will not be the US Attorney General who decides to charge the former President, it will be the current President, who should remember that if the Republicans take the House, they can start to investigate Hunter Biden, that is the last thing that President Biden should want, if any criminal leads from Hunter Biden goes to his father, then Biden could be in a HOT WATER, deep trouble.  Thus as the grown up in the room, Biden should offer to PARDON Trump if he promises not to run in 2024, and then Biden will not have to run.  If the above were to happen then the Republicans will not have the need to impeach Biden if they take the House.  The above asks for grown ups to be in the room, Reagan in his diaries called Biden a demagogue, thus his recent remarks that the Republicans are fascists, who in the room is going to tell Biden to grow up, American democracy could be at stake.
