The LEFT, Boris and Brexit - Post Brexit

It was a Valentine’s Day card to himself and his ambition to be the next Tory leader, an ambition he betrayed with his incoherent answer to a question about whether he would rule out resigning this year.  "

Lets Get Real:

In essence the Foreign Secretary could no win, the speech would get  a mauling from the left wing Guardian no matter if the FS had talked to God and bought down a heaven version of Brexit.    The LEFT it has to be understood, wants to bend the knee when it comes to the EU, they see it as one of them, an elite body, run by the elite for the elite, everyone else should know their place.   The ELITES can be such a BORE!   Great Britain once had an Empire, that seems lost on the left wing press, we do know how to manage things on the international front, the EU is for Guardian types, the elite laying down the law to the people, and the people not having a voice.   What a BORE!!

Lets Get Real:

The speech was always going to be the problem, the Foreign Secretary is not liked because he is seen to have won the Brexit vote in the 2016 vote.   Those that still want to remain in the EU hate him, they see him a political chancer, someone who could see the wind of change and got on that train and thus leaving them to lose.   The UK should be in charge of its trade after leaving the EU, make its own deals, decide who comes in to the Country, and no longer giving money to the EU.  The British people decided, it is time the moaning remainers respected that FACT.

Lets Get Real:

The speech by the Foreign Secretary had been agreed by No 10, thus the FS was on board with the broad strokes of what the May Government wants from the deals with the EU.   The question that must be asked, was the speech to late, the remainers and hard Brexit supporters are in their trenches, they see everything through their own views, this blog understands that only to well.   The May Government needs to be clea with the UK voter as to what it wants, thus far the Government has tried to keep everyone happy, that will not last for a long time.   Time for PM MAY to be CLEAR with her MESSAGE.

Lets Get Real:

Whatever you think of Bill Clinton as a person, you have to admit that as  a pol, he is the best  in the business, it is not his fault that HRC LOST in 2016, that was all down to HRC and her bad campaign and the FBI/Russians if you follow that theory.   The #metoo movement could rob the Democrats of a great fighters in the shape of the old hound dog.   The American people elected Bill twice, they knew his character but also that in his time in office the Country on the whole was at peace and the economy went through the boom.  As to the BC character flaws, well they are well known, one minute you are a hero then you find you self a outcast, that is the fate of the Greats, just look at Lady Thatcher.   The Dems would be foolish not not to use Bill Clinton. 

Will the UK WALK OUT on EU Talks ? - Post Brexit

Lets Get Real:

The DUP will not be happy with the idea that the UK leaves the Single Market and the Custom Union, while Northern Ireland stays in the EU.   The DUP keeps the Conservatives in power.  The PM has to be clear with the the EU, that the UK is going to leave the Customs Union and the single market and that includes Northern Ireland.  That the UK will decide who comes in to the UK after 2019, and that includes those from the EU.  Also the UK should have a VETO any new EU laws that effect the UK.   The EU is becoming a bore!!

The Irish problem for the UK and Brexit - Post Brexit

Lets Get Real:

The UK has to be firm with the EU, they think they know what is best for the UK and the rest of the EU.  The FCO should send the Foreign Secretary for meetings with the new members of the EU, the Eastern Europeans should be reminded that the EU won't come to their rescue should Russia start playing games, that should be worry for the Poles.   The EU when you get down to it, will not defend neighbouring countries, it has no Army, its sole weapon is MONEY.   The UK should remind the EU that we can always refuse to pay the divorce bill.   As to Ireland, if the Irish want to build a border, let them, the UK will not, that should be the end of the issue. 

EU Trench Warfare - Post Brexit

Lets Get Real:

This is the EU playing illegal trench warfare. they think the UK is another Greece or Italy, they are in bullying mode, they think they can do want they want.  The UK has to come back HARD, and make it clear to the EU that the UK could just walk away.   The EU is not democratic, its foundations are not democratic, thus this would not be the first time that the UK has gone  head to head with Europe, we always win, the EU should recall that history lesson.
