Clinton vs. Biden - The 2016 Race

CNN - Politics: Reports on the political knifing of VP Biden by former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, the article notes the following, " Clinton, during her latest paid speaking gig ....spent nearly half an hour discussing the story behind the 2011 Navy SEAL raid on Osama bin Laden's compound in Pakistan, specifically highlighting Vice President Joe Biden's opposition to the mission. ".

Lets Get Real: 

This blog would be very surprised if the Clintons,  that is Bill and Hillary really through that VP Biden was a threat to the Hillary Clinton in 2016, this blog's late beloved dog would beat VP Biden, yes folks, he is not going to be the nominee, one can think that the Biden Camp thinks that everyone thought that Hillary Clinton would win the nomination in 2008 and she did not, also President Obama must know that should Hillary Clinton win, the only former President would have her ear is her husband.  If the Oval thinks that Bill Clinton has forgotten or forgiven that the Obama Camp used the race card on him in 2008 they are out of it, or smoking something illegal.   One can postulate that Biden might think that Hillary Clinton might not run, or that the Libya scandal might come back to haunt her, there is always chance folks, but this blog does not see a real political threat to Hillary winning the 2016 Democratic nomination and at present no threat to winning the Presidency.   But folks, three years is a long time, the Clintons must think that somehow Biden is a political threat, this time they are not taking any chances, that is the one thing about Democracy folks, who in 2006 would have thought that then Senator Obama would be the next President.  Let the fun start folks on the Democratic side.

Lets Get Real:

The Democrats DID WIN folks, they played Chicago hardball and WON, yes those on the right can argue that the elite liberal press played its part as part of the Obama Administration, that does not matter, THEY WON.   The reason for the defeat folks is simple, the Republicans allowed themselves to be rolled.   A stronger Speaker would not have allowed the Oval to run rings around him, IF Boehner wants to remain Speaker he will have to MAN UP, this means making sure the Oval does not pass a dam thing through the Republican House, NOTHING FOLKS.  The Republicans will hold the House next year, thus they can wait Obama OUT, he needs more than ObamaCare, the Republicans should make sure that the Oval understands that HELL will freeze over before Obama gets a dam thing, even an increase in the White House Budget, NOTHING FOLKS. 

Selling Out = Republicans - 2nd Term Blues

Lets Get Real:

Folks the Democrats will never cut the welfare state, that is the only thing that gets them elected, they promise sweets to the voters but NEVER tell the voter that the cost is the US will end up bankrupt.   The main points of the deal are folks, that the US Government will be kept open in till January 15 and the debt ceiling will be raised in till February 7th.   In that time the sides will meet to agree to a budget.   Folks you can see the fault lines already, the Democrats will just want to raise taxes,  while the Republicans will want to cut the welfare state.   The sides could be back to this cliff after the Christmas holiday.   The Republicans have SOLD OUT folks, the Tea Party needs to run more Conservative candidates, moderates from blue States are Republicans in name only, they break with light wind.   As stated in my tweet last night folks, this is a WIN for the Oval, but its short term, with a debt of 17 trillion and future debt of 20 trillion the loser is the US and its people.  Sad Day for the US folks. 

Afghanistan Front News

MOD: Has announced the name of the UK Soldier that was killed on active service yesterday in Afghanistan, the Soldier was " Lance Corporal Brynin, an Intelligence Corps soldier attached to 14th Signal Regiment (Electronic Warfare) ".  Our thoughts are with the family and friends of Lance Corporal Brynin. 

Republican House vs. Democratic Senate - 2nd Term Blues

Lets Get Real:

The Republican House should stick together, it is accepted if not by Democrats that the Republicans will hold the House next year after the 2014 Mid Terms, the one person that needs a legacy is President Obama, does he want to be the President that pushes the US over in to default, it would be the Obama default, does any one recall the name of the US House Speaker during the term of Hoover or FDR, its always the Presidents who either get the credit or blames if the US economy falls apart, thus the Republicans need to hold their nerve, and push hard, make it VERY clear to the Oval, either deal or your political agenda is DOA in the House, no matter what, if the Oval comes up with a solution to the all the problems of the World, the House will say GET LOST.   The Republicans should make it VERY frosty for President Obama, after 2014 he does not matter, its the Presidential cycle, and Democrats IF they find that Obama is big NEGATIVE, will  dump on him so fast, it will make the Windy City look like a sunny place for a holiday.   Thus Republicans HOLD THE LINE. 

Obama NO to House Plan - 2nd Term Blues

Lets Get Real: 

The Republicans in the House want those elected to run the US Government to come under ObamaCare, not get of jail clauses, what an affront to democracy, those that have passed laws should have to live under them, it shows how out of control the Democrats are, they want special favours for the US political elite, while the Main street gets shafted AGAIN, just like when the Banks stole all the money in 2008.    This blog was opposed to Western Governments coming to the rescue of the banks, has any one gone to jail folks, like hell.   The Republicans should wait in till 16th of October, around Midnight of the 17th and pass their bill, if the Democrats want to default, so let it be, it will be THE Obama default, does have a ring to it folks.   A half way house would be the Senate Bill, opens the Government up and rises the debt ceiling, but all that does is get you through the holiday season, then back to close down and the debt ceiling, what this blog would give for another Reagan at this moment folks, those glory days of the 80s folks. 

Death in Afghanistan

MOD: Reports that a UK Soldier was killed in combat today in Afghanistan, the Soldier was from the " 14th Signal Regiment (Electronic Warfare) ".  Thus since 2001 the UK has lost 445 of its Armed Forces Personnel due to combat and other incidents.    

Lets Get Real: 

Folks WHY are we still losing brave members of our Armed Forces in a War we are getting OUT off, what is the point, by the end of the next year we should be out of Afghanistan AGAIN, we should cut our loses  and leave Afghanistan to the US and its future plans.    Our forces will do the job they have been sent out to do, but it can be argued that the Coalition Government should have a duty of CARE, we are walking off the pitch next year, it can be postulated that Afghanistan within six months will back in to a state of Civil War, the Afghanistan Taliban will use the leaving of Western troops as a PR for their course, when Kabul falls to the Taliban, is the US ready for another Southern Vietnam 1975,  who wants to see US helicopters getting the last US diplomats and allies out of Afghanistan.   At the end of the day folks, Afghanistan and Iraq was a disaster for the West, what have we gained, NOTHING, and the result, Western Armed forces are tired and Western voters wish they had never heard of Iraq or Afghanistan, our military and political leadership from the Generals to the Political elite have shown that they were donkeys leading lions.
