Liberal NYT vs. The US Supreme Court

The New York Times: Has this in its Editorial about the Reagan appointed Supreme Court Justices, the editorial states they were chosen because they, “ ..would advance a political ideology that limits government and promotes market freedoms, with less regard to the general welfare. ”. The reverse of the bloated liberal view of the world of the New York Times, when the US Courts follow the line of the NYT they are doing the right thing, but if they think the role of Government is limited, not all powerful, that business should have rules but fair rules and that the US is not Europe then they are in the view of the NYT a disgrace. What a bunch of fools NOW run the liberal NYT, they are so out of touch with the reality no wonder the once great paper is going down the toilet. The fact that ObamaCare is not popular shows how left wing and liberal the NYT has moved, it sees itself as deciding the national good, not the voters, if that is not arrogance then what is folks. Lets hope the US Supreme Court does strike down ObamaCare, not because its political but because it’s the right thing to do folks.

The Falklands War and the Cold War

Guardian: Reports that the Reagan Administration was worried that Lady Thatcher was not giving diplomacy a chance in the Falklands War and that the USSR would be drawn in to the War. What is interesting is the fact that the our OWN Foreign Office was in surrender mode from the start and that was seen by Lady Thatcher, thus she got her advice from the Minister of Defence. The article shows that while the Reagan Administration was worried, when push came to shove it backed Lady Thatcher, some of that backing is still secret.

Spanish Austerity and the EU

BBC News: Reports that there are doubts that the Spanish Austerity plan will work, as it still leaves intact aspects of the Spanish welfare system. Those out of work will still get the same unemployment benefits and pensions will raise for the old. In other words folks the new Spanish Government didn’t have the nerve to follow through with real tough cuts, thus expect Spain to ask for a bailout sometime in the future, the politicians of the EU have to get one fact, the welfare system will kill European Democracy if it is not reformed, as costs raise on welfare and you cant tax the rich or the middle class anymore there will have to be drastic cuts and reform through out Europe, lets hope it is done before its to late, before the extreme right or left raise to power in the EU.

Spanish Pain - Eurozone Crisis

Guardian: Reports on the Austerity plan of Spanish PM Rajoy, the PM will deliver the articles notes, “ ..one of the harshest budgets ever seen in Europe ”. The liberal left, this includes the Guardian, NYT and the BBC, don’t get one simple fact, from their LIBERAL and LEFT towers they only see what they want to see, the social contract of the welfare state from 1945 is over, at its core people are living longer, all the welfare benefits from 1945 can either be upheld by high tax rates, thus no business expansion or welfare has to be reformed, this goes for the NHS is the UK also, some services will have to paid for, the UK voter wants the welfare but does not want give 90% of his or her salary to the Government. Thus something has to give, and its welfare folks, when real harsh reforms happens in the EU, a lot of people are going to get hurt, but there is no other way, people wont accept moderate reform NOW, thus when the harsh reforms comes there is nothing they can say, its will be to late by then folks.

Spanish General Strike

Telegraph Live - Spain: Reports that the new Spanish Government will have to find savings of 55 billion Euros. Thus folks the Spanish people are going to get hit big time, this why the Unions are on strike, the employment reforms of the new Government is needed to get Spain going, this always hit’s the public sector, thus the present General Strike. The welfare state of Europe is heading for the bin folks, it can last without massive tax hikes, the people want the welfare state but they don’t want pay for it, a perfect storm, and there is no Prozac for the depression.
