Lets Get Real:

This does feel like AUSTERITY PART 2, the furlough during has added four hundred billion to the UK's debt, and now the Chancellor stated yesterday that the gas price cap will only go up to April next year.  It has been postulated that the 3% increase in defence spending will be splashed, also what happens about April of next year, is the Government really going to allow the price that people pay for gas to go up in the thousands without helping, what about business, it looks like it's going to be very a COLD WINTER, and now Turkeys are under threat from bird flu, what good deed the UK do get this kind of mess on hour hands, 4 chancellors in four months, a PM in office but not in power.  The Country should expect some tough cuts, even the NHS and benefits might not rise with inflation, as that would cost a fortune.  It might be time for a LABOUR GOVERNMENT, never thought I would write those words.

Thus the old Cameron Cabinet is getting the push, Hammond is a better fit as Chancellor, how the manner of dry accountant, that is what you want next door, also not a political threat as he supported Remain in the EU vote.   Let see who gets FCO, Home Office and the new Department of Brexit.

Immigration Breaking Point = Nazi propaganda

The Remain Camp has to be careful when using terms such as Nazi Propaganda when discussing the OUT Campaign.  IN supporting OUT a voter is not a racist, this comes across as the political elite not understanding the voter, it annoys them, this blog will vote OUT, because it knows that the Remain side will win, one does wonder if the Chancellor is looking to retire after the EU Vote, he is not making friends within the Conservative Party and he is not popular in the Country. 

PM Cameron and the EU Vote - EU Vote 2016

Lets Get Real:

I would think if David Cameron is on the losing side of the EU Referendum this year that he would have to go, for a PM to lose on such a major policy would undermine his authority as PM.  Also the PM has stated that he is not running in 2020, thus the Conservative Party will need a new leader before 2020, and to be fair a new leader would have to have some time to bed in, so if its out for UK, then one can argue that it will be out for David Cameron.   Of course the runners and riders are getting ready, a policy failure like the EU would push Cameron out bit early, that is the nature of the political beast, it does support losers. 

David Cameron and Syria Part 2 - Syrian Crisis

Lets Get Real:

IF the PM is going to strike Syria he should start this week, then have the House of Commons vote, there is no way the House of Commons would say NO if aircrew are in the air and are attacking Daesh.   The PM should use the Royal powers he already has and go to war.   Daesh could use the time between the Cameron's outline for the role of the UK in a Syrian Strike as a chance to hit UK as with Paris or cause problems as is the case in Belgium. The West has to destroy Daesh, it can not be contained, time for West to find its Churchillian/Thatcher backbone.   Time for War.

Government CUTS to Spending - UK Finance

BBC News: Reports " Four government departments have provisionally agreed to cut their spending by an average of 30% over the next four years, Chancellor George Osborne has announced. "

Lets Get Real:

The UK HAS to cut the welfare state, its either the State or a society that bankrolls lower payment to workers and creates a cycle that does not allow people to get back to work.   On the other hand the Conservative Government has to be smart, it should not give ammo to the left wing groups, such as the BBC and the Guardian.  It does not need pictures of those that have a disability from the physical to the mental outside No 10 protesting at government cuts.    The working worker wants those that have never worked or used the system to get something for nothing.   The Labour Party is not a real threat, the real threat comes when the Government thinks it can do what it likes, the defeat in the House of Lords over tax credits shows what happens when the government take its eyes off the ball.   Thus the Conservative government has to be clever, and always see the left as a threat. 

The turmoil in Labour - Corbyn Era

Lets Get Real:

It is one thing to lead a Party is quite another thing to lead a Party were most of your MP's can not stand you, and will rebel when there are major questions are coming up, Trident or Syria.   The Jeremy Corby Leadership has a problem, it can not argue for MP's to be loyal when Jeremy Corbyn has voted against the Labour whip over five hundred times.    The crunch vote for Corbyn will be Trident and Syria, if he can not control his Party the knifes will be out for him, he just seems attached to BAD politics.   The BBC and Guardian will cover for up to a point, but this type of rebellion if it happens often will undermine Labour as a political party. 

The Rebellion by Labour MP's over the Fiscal Charter - Corbyn Era

BBC News: Reports " The BBC's assistant political editor Norman Smith said up 30 Labour MPs could potentially defy the leadership by abstaining in a vote at 21:00 BST, saying the outcome would be an "important moment" for Jeremy Corbyn as he tried to impose his authority on the party and turn Labour into an unashamed opponent of austerity. "

Lets Get Real:

It will be interesting to see how many Labour MP's have the nerve to rebel, those that do rebel will show political courage and also an understanding of the real world.   The Jeremy Corbyn leadership is about protest, no real government.    The Conservatives should push for a early vote on Trident and Syria,  the Labour Party under Jeremy Corbyn has shown that it is not fit for government, they have gone way left, the British people voted in May for a centre - right kind of government, low taxes, strong defence, a less expensive welfare state.  Interesting night for Labour.   Update,: The fiscal charter has passed the House of Commons, it looks like about 30 Labour MP's did indeed not vote. 

The Labour U - Turn and Leadership - Corbyn Mania

Telegraph - Live Blog: Reporters the following on the Labour Party's U - turn over the Chancellor's fiscal charter, " This tweet from the BBC's Political Editor Laura Kuenssberg suggests that Jeremy Corbyn did not even know that John McDonnell was a planning a U-turn over his initial support for George Osborne's fiscal charter. "

Lets Get Real:

This shows a Party out of control, the Shadow Chancellor changes the Party policy without even talking to the Shadow Cabinet and forcing the Party to learn via the debate tomorrow the details of his new plan.   The Corbyn " new politics " seems to have gone through the window, this leadership telling its MP's how to roll without much back up for them to talk to reporters.   The Conservative Government in welfare should go to the right, the Opposition is a mess from the leadership on down, the Country elected a Conservative government to be tough on welfare, the shambles of Labour shows that the there is no real Opposition to the government.   It is better now to split the Labour Party by forcing them to tackle hard issues, from the fiscal charter to Trident, and lets not forget Syria.  Troubling days ahead for the Labour Party. 

The Labour Policy on the economy is a mess - Corbyn Mania

Lets Get Real:

The Labour Party is a fine mess, they have left wing Leader and Chancellor that are not supported by a majority of Labour MP's they think the Twitter World is the real world and they are heading a mass people who do not support the Conservatives, they have not realised that the 2015 election has happened, thus the Labour Opposition is a joke of the first order, Tony Blair must be pulling his hair out, what happened to the Party that could win elections. 

The Master Chancellor and the Budget - UK Budget

More important, he's cheerily half-inched the living wage, and by doing to, discombobulated his two great opponents in politics: the Labour Party, and Boris Johnson. "

Lets Get Real:

Are we looking at the next PM, Chancellor Osborne produced a Budget that will make Conservatives happy, both on the domestic front and the international  front,  the Conservatives will become more seen as a Party of those that get up early and go to work, also makes sure that those on low wages have a living wage.   The Labour Party was ALL over the place, so was the BBC.   Thus good defeat of the left by the Chancellor.
