Jeremy Corbyn the next Labour Leader - Post 2015 Election

Lets Get Real:

The Guardian/BBC types will be happy that Jeremy Corbyn will win the election, its their kind of left wing out there agenda that will run the Labour Party.    As a political opposition the Labour Party will become a joke, they can forget 2020 and 20205 general elections, one only hopes that David Miliband comes back in time to save the Party.    The Conservartives only problem will be the regular backbench opposition.   The Party only has a majority of 12, thus No 10 has to keep them in line and keep their support.    What a great day Saturday will be when Corbyn wins, the Conservativers can rest a bit in till 2025.

Corbyn says NO to UK TROOPS to fight DAESH - Post 2015 Election

Lets Get Real:

This is the choice that the Labour Party has, to go over a cliff with Jeremy Corbyn or to vote for any body else, the Labour Party faces internal fights if Corbyn wins, the man does not even support NATO.   Corbyn has shown that he is to pro Russia, would not defend our allies and out national interests.   The Labour Party has to get over Iraq and Tony Blair, and show that is still wants power.   This is a call for ALL rational Labour supporters to vote for anybody but Corbyn, otherwise forget being the official opposition.

The Corbyn Foreign Policy - Post 2015 Election

Lets Get Real:

Does the Labour Party ever want to form a Labour Government again, if the Party votes for Jeremy Corbyn for leader then they can write off the 2020/25 election.   Jeremy Corbyn was only allowed on the ballot as to keep the left happy, they very idea of him winning should send a shock waves through older members of the Party, those that recall the 1980s.  Lady Thatcher kept winning elections because the Labour Party lost touch with the public, they wanted left wing purity, that meant that the Party was out of power for eighteen years.   The Party should be on its knees to Tony Blair to thank him for his elections wins, if your a Blair support now its a term of insult.   The Party needs to get back to the centre otherwise it is finished and the UK will have one party rule for the next few decades.

David Miliband on Corbyn - Election 2016

Lets Get Real:

Mr Miliband senior speaks the truth to the Labour Party, for this blog a one party State under the Conservatives would be fantastic, but if you're  a true Democrat you want to see a good opposition keeping the any government on its heels.   A Corbyn Labour Party would cause a civil war within Labour after a few weeks, the majority of the UK population is never going to be as left wing as a Corbyn Labour Party.   Thus real Labour voters have to vote for either Ms Cooper or Liz Kendall,  a vote for Andy Burnham would give the Labour Party five more years of  a Northern Ed Miliband.   The Labour Party faces a choice either get real or be thrown in to the dustbin of politics.  That is the choice for Labour.

Burnham Waffle - Labour Leadership Contest

Lets Get Real:

One gets the impression that Mr Burnham is a Northern Ed Miliband, the favourite at the start of the election he has seen his base of support move to Mr Corbyn.    IF Andy Burnham had fire in his belly it has gone very quite, you have to want the Labour leadership and you do what you have to do when it comes to taking the prize,  that means getting your hands dirty if you want to lead.    IF this blog had a choice it would be Liz Kendall, she comes from the right wing of the Party, but that base has become narrowed after Gordon Brown came in to power.   Interesting month ahead for Labour.

Brown to ATTACK Corbyn !! - Labour Leadership Contest

Lets Get Real:

Lets see if former Prime Minister Gordon Brown can BRING the Labour Party to its senses, the former PM was very effective in Scotland when they had their vote if they wanted to remain part of the UK.   THE question is has the old New Labour hands left it to late to change the course of the leadership election.   The BIG MO is behind Corbyn, it almost like the Labour Party has given up on government for the future and is looking to be politically pure.   THERE is a cost to being pure, you're not in government and its not fun being in the opposition for two decades.

New Labour Attacks Corbyn - Labour Leadership Contest

Lets Get Real:

Thus Mr Campbell strikes, his article of yesterday and now this, the old New Labour creators must be really worried, they have the Iraq Report to come and and now this, one can see Mr Corbyn throwing Blair etc out of the Labour Party if the Iraq report is damaging. If you're a Conservative you are having a good time, Labour tearing itself apart, lets have more fun, one can only wish that Mr Corbyn wins, then the Conservative Party will not face any real opposition in till 2025.  Even if one of the others win the Party has moved to the left, being left might make the Labour Party members happy but it will not win elections.  There is an old saying, be careful for what you wish for, it might happen.

New Labour vs. Old Labour - Post 2015 Election

Lets Get Real:

The old New Labour hands have started to make their presence felt, that is good, they have to use every tactic in the book to prevent Jeremy Corbyn becoming leader, a Corbyn win would mean that the UK did not have a real opposition, the general voter will laugh at a Corbyn leadership, it would be for Labour the return to the opposition years of the early 1980s.   Corbyn wants to retaken the railways back under public control, take over business, regulate the private sector so it does not work.  Also he wants a closer link with Russia, the end of NATO, you get the idea voter.   As a Conservative blog this blogger wants Corbyn to win, the Conservative Party will then not have to worry in till 2025.

NEW LABOUR vs. Old Labour - Labour Leadership Contest

Lets Get Real:

This blog was wondering when the old hands of New Labour would start to get in to the fight, they have left it late, it seems that Jeremy Corbyn is on course to be the next Labour Leader.   The Labour Party will split in six weeks, how can those from the Blair wing of the Party serve with an extreme left winger, it would be the 1980s all over again.   The New Labour machine was seeing as a winning combination, so time for that machine to make sure anyone but Corbyn wins, pull any political strokes they have too, in other words go in hard against Corbyn.   This blog is a Conservative blog and proud, but even we on the Conservative side see the need for an opposition that is a real threat, so for the sake of Democracy if nothing else it has to be ABC, anyone but Corbyn.

Corbyn and disarmament - Labour Leadership Election

Lets Get Real:

IF the UK gave up its nuclear missiles it would be a national disaster and open the UK to be blackmailed by even North Korea.   One gets the impression that Mr Corbyn has been caught out by his own success and at the end of the day does not want to be Labour leader, it would be a thankless job even for Mr Corbyn,  most of his MPs would be after his head after a few months if he was lucky, the Labour Party would go so left it would never get elected again to government.   This is madness by Labour, when will the grown ups take charge, or is it to late for New Labour within the Labour Party.

End the Labour Madness - Alan Johnson, Former Home Secretary

Lets Get Real:

The problem with Yvetter Cooper is that she is married to Ed Balls, the once right hand man for Gordon Brown, the Blair or virus section of the party might think they have gone down the Gordon Brown road with Ed Miliband and do not want to lose in 2020.   But on the other hand it would allow time for David Miliband to come back after a few years and take the Party in to the 2020 election, as a campaigner Ms Cooper does not impress and is too rigid in the House of Commons.  At least Ms Cooper is not CORBYN, and it would be up to her to show that Ed Balls is not pulling the strings from behiond the curtain or their front door.   If only Mr Johnson had wanted to be leader, he would have saved the Party a lot of stress over the last few weeks.
