Thus they undercut the power of the speech, it will be interesting to see the developments during the day, the House of Commons does not go into recess in till next week, the Brexit supporters could still go for a vote of confidence in the PM, but as the above article states the Brexit supporters might not have the votes to win such a confidence vote.
