Lets Get Real:

The simple question I ask, do you see Presidents Kennedy or Reagan going on a picket line, lets recall that Reagan was ONLY President to have been President of his Union,  the screens actors guild.  As above shows Reagan actually fired 11,345 air traffic controllers when the went on strike, Reagan was a tough President but fair, he gave them notice of that fact and the day they had to return.  This got the notice of the USSR, they saw that Reagan was a tough President, he was not weak like Jimmy Carter.  The American voter likes to see some regal image of the Presidency, walking the picket line is not regal, makes you like a politician desperate for votes, and Biden could find himself needing the workers in these  State to give enough electoral voters in 2024.  Well if it a choice between  Biden or Trump, it will have to be Biden, as long as he supports the Ukraine, and does not go gaga on the job.

Former Reagan Officials support former VP Pence for the Republican nomination - 2024 Candidate/2024 General Election

Lets Get Real:

If one looks at the polls this could be Hail Mary pass by supporters of former VP Pence he is lagging in the polls,  his former boss,  Former President Trump still leads on the polls in nationwide polls and is far ahead in Iowa and New Hampshire, a Conservative like Pence should do well in Iowa, a very Conservative State, then there in New Hampshire, if Pence losses both States, then it could be over for Pence.   In other words a few of the candidates might have to throw in towel if they fail do knockout Trump or do not come a good 2nd.  The most promising candidate is Ambassador Haley, Trump's Ambassador to the UN.   The latest NBC poll had Trump and Biden at the same level of support, every  poll shows that, it seems a rogue poll had Trump winning over Biden by 10%.   There will be hundred of polls before Iowa and New Hampshire.  Trump has to be take out by one of the Republican Candidates for the Nomination, or else my candidate President Biden should have an easy victory in 2024.

Lets Get Real:

The Poles have thrown a spanner in the works over cheap grain from the Ukraine undercutting the price of home based grain in Poland, the US House cannot get a new funding bill for the Ukraine, the support for the Ukraine has gone down in the US, POTUS has failed to make it an issue, can you think of JFK or Reagan having problems funding the Ukraine against Russia. The job of the US President is to LEAD, Biden should have been banging way on the subject ever day.   Thus the Poles have stated that they will keep their arms for their own forces, and the Ukraine needs more financial support to defeat the Russians.   One hopes POTUS can deal with Poland, quite words with Poland, and can get the House to move on Ukraine funding.   The Kremlin must be laughing, they can win this war by default in time.

That lags a bit behind his performance nationally, where Republican primary polling routinely finds Trump with majority support.  "

Lets Get Real:

Poor CNN is trying to thwart Trump, its pity that their ratings are in the toilet, the Republican contest is down to Iowa and New Hampshire, the general view is a challenger to Trump will come in either State.  This far this blog thinks it will be Trump who will be the nominee, it seems that the American people would rather a crooked candidate, e.g Trump as the next President, rather than gaga Biden.  The liberal media can try to influence the outcome, how many times as the former Governor of N.J been on CNN, the Republican voters do not like him, he is seen as the House Republican for CNN, who says what they want to hear.  President Biden must win as to keep supporting the Ukraine, US and Western security is at stake.  In way this is 1930s all over again.   The 2024 election is as important as 1980s, when Reagan won and lead to the end of the Cold War and the downfall of the USSR.

Lets Get Real:

There are enough warning polls for the Biden Oval, it has to do something drastic to get his polls up, the Biden Oval has to show that it is tough, more military support for the Ukraine, a new VP might to the trick, voters like strong Presidents, those from the centre right.  The US voter is not happy in his wallet or purse, they see that inflation is to high, they are very concerned about the President's age, he is no Reagan, CNN showed that 77% of voters thought that Reagan would make it through his 2nd term, the number for Biden is a lot lower.  It is time for Mrs Biden to have a word with the President, does he really want a 2nd term, as the BBC notes Hunter would be on Trial and is pleading not guilty, will they allow Hunter to go to jail should he be found guilty on federal gun charges.  POTUS has the power of pardon, would he use that to get Hunter out of jail.  A tough 2024 for POTUS.

Iran gets 6 billion for US hostages - Biden Era

Lets Get Real:

Thus each hostage cost a billion and half, the Biden Oval has had no interest those Afghans the US left behind after their hurried departure from Afghanistan.   The Biden Oval has appeased Iran, the question will it appease Iran over its nuclear ambitions and Tehran giving drones to the Russians to wage WAR on the Ukraine.   The endless talking to Iran has gotten the US and the West nowhere, they have the bomb or are close to the bomb, at some point ISRAEL and the US will need to stand up to Iran.   The Tehran Government thinks that Biden is weak, this will cost the US in the future, that does not help the US or Western security. 

POTUS loses to Trump, Haley and Scott in NEW POLL - 2024 Candidate - Presidential Election

The Hill: Reports "  Biden trails Trump, Haley, Scott in 2024 race: poll...The poll found that 44 percent of respondents said they would vote for Trump when asked about a hypothetical match-up between him and Biden in 2024, while 40 percent said they would back the current president.  "

Lets Get Real:

This will make Trump somewhat happy, but the fact that also Ambassador Haley and the only black Republican Senator, Tim Scott can also beat POTUS, makes them more effective candidates to the challenge Trump in the Republican nomination fight.  This blog would support either Haley and Scott, they would support the Ukraine in their War with Russia. Trump likes Putin to much as was shown in his Meet the Press interview on Sunday.   Trump caves being liked, a bit like LBJ on that front, Nixon did not like people, thus his remoteness over the Oval Oval years, thus Watergate.  One would hope to see a surge in Biden' s polls after his deal with Iran to get US hostages back, even if it cost 6 billion.  A year and half of US politics, what fun, even if it is a rematch of Biden vs. Trump is not wanted by anybody sane.
