This has been a disgrace by the Republican Party, where are the elder Statesmen of the Party, and more important how come former President Trump has not done more, they are his followers, or have they gone totally rogue, the US image around the World is taking a battering by the extreme right in the Republican Party.  The Democrats will be drinking out of these past two nights for years, the extreme right is making the Squad on the Democratica side look stable, and that is saying something.   It is time for some back room deals, it has to be made clear to the 20, that when the Republicans take the Speakership that their actions will not be forgotten if they carry on this way, one can see the political adverts already for 2024, Biden will be laughing his backside off, the Republicans have to unite behind McCarthy or someone else, and it has to be done either tonight or tomorrow, the Party of Lincoln and Reagan are making the US look like a banana Republic, this has to STOP.

Thus TRUMP has spoken, the question is will the extreme right even listen to him, in the Mid Terms Trump got his candidates to be the nominee, but they LOST BIG TIME, Thus there are limits to the power of the Trump when it comes to general election, the extreme right might think they can buck Trump, as Trump might not be the nominee the next time, let's not forget his legal problems and his base in the Party is about 30% to 35%, it depends how many candidates there are for the nomination, if there are a lot the base vote that Trump has could be enough to get him the nomination.  Thus Trump must really place pressure on those holdouts in the House, he should remind them that he can get candidates to run against the in the Primaires, let's see if he has the guts to play hardball with his own followers.  Fun day ahead with new rounds for the choosing of a House Speaker.  No prediction from this blog on the outcome of this election, the freedom caucus is bonkers!

Lets Get Real:

The House Democrats must be having fun, seeing the Republicans tear themselves apart, they should worry also, if the Party gets a Republican Speaker, that does not mean Kevin McCarthy or it might be him,  he will have to follow the wants of the extreme right, thus a lot of Congressional investigations in to Afghanistan and Hunter Biden.  Down the road the Biden Oval will be looking at moderate Republicans who might vote with the Democrats on different parts of the Biden Agenda, and to see how they can get these Republicans to agree to go against the party will.  One hopes that after a good night's rest and some deals in smoke filled rooms, the Republican Party can nominate a Speaker who can get 218 votes.  It is always good to have oversight of the a Administration, the Democrats allowed the Biden Oval to get away with its disastrous Afghanistan policy and showed no interest in Hunter Biden.  It could be a long day, it's fun watching the sausage ( how politics really works ) as its being made.  That is why US politics is so fun, and now the Yanks cannot complain about our three PM's in a year and our mini budget.

This is not the way it was meant to go, the Republicans should have had a good majority after the Mid Terms, the actual result gave the Republicans the House but by a small majority of 4.  The right wing freedom caucus is making the supposed Speaker earn their votes, it is a question of how much power McCarthy will have at the end, if he gets through this stage.   If your a sane Republican you want to get the House to investigate, Afghanistan, Hunter Biden, and even later down the line, if there is enough evidence to impeach Joe Biden himself.  Let's recall the Democrats impeached Trump twice, once was enough, it shows what can be achieved if a party stays to together, the Biden Oval will be looking to Republican moderates to get some or anything of their agenda through over the next two years, thus a battle royal in the NOW Republican majority.  Let's not forget that the 2024 race has started, it is expected that POTUS will state early that he is running again in 2024, thus the game is afoot.

If the Irish PM is willing to move then the EU should move, in this they will have the support of the Biden White House, as POTUS is coming over for the anniversary of the Good Friday Agreement and the White House wants good pictures of it working.  Thus an agreement that can get the DUP back on side and back in to Government.  Only fly in the agreement could be the FRENCH, they have wanted to punish the UK since the UK voted to leave in 2016.  Thus the Biden Oval might find that he has to dragged the French President in to line.  The rest of the EU should be okay, no one wants to keep talking about BREXIT, they have other problems like Hungary backing PUTIN and being their pawn in the EU debate about sanctions on Putin's Russia.  Thus this really could be the end of the issue, let's hope it getting boring and the UK has other issues to deal with at the moment, public sector strikes, cost of living, a threat of a new COVID -19 strain.

This could be the biggest attack on Russians forces since the War started, as noted in the article, also those bloggers who support the WAR in Russia are more critical than those thrown in to jail.  The problem is that the pro invasion bloggers want a tough stand by the Kremlin, even if that means a dirty bomb or a tactical nuclear bomb.  Thus it can be postulated that the Russians will want to hit back HARD, just to make the point, that they can hit back even harder than the Ukraine can attack.  As noted by this blogger and other commentary, the Putin Regime to survive might need to escalate the WAR, either by going to attack a NATO Country or the border that allows the NATO forces to move military kit to the Kyiv Government.   The real worry is that should Putin FALL or fall through a window ( I wonder how that thought came about ) then his successor might be even more of a  SOB, and will go further.  The problem with WARS, are the unknown of the unknowns,  EVENTS that come from nowhere, and have not been planned for, both NATO and one assumes the Kremlin does not want WW3, the problem might be to stop it before it gets there, as JFK said during the Cuban missile, there is always some SOB who never gets the WORD.  It only needs a major incident, a nuclear plant in the Ukraine being hit and releasing radiation, or a actual Russian missile hitting a NATO Country on purpose or accident, or a new offensive by Russian that gets close to taking Kyiv,  this would force the WEST to act, Russian cannot be allowed to win or appear to win.

The war in the trenches is a WAR of attrition, the Russians are trying to destroy the water and energy supply to the people of the Ukraine, many thousands if not hundred thousands have been stuck in their bunkers, while the Russians throw cruise missiles and drones at the infrastructure of the Ukraine.  Thus it is high time that the Ukrainian Forces have the chance to cut power in the Russian regions of Russia, this should WAKE the people to the FACT that the Kremlin started this WAR and has committed many if not thousands of WAR CRIMES.  If the Russian people are cold they might get on the street to protest this illegal WAR by Putin's Kremlin.  The WEST has to fund the Ukraine in till the bitter end, Russian cannot be allowed to WIN or the appearance of winning.  God Bless the Ukraine.
