Lets Get Real:

Since 9/11 the US has had a presence in Afghanistan, the original purpose was to fight Al Qaeda and the Taliban, now its fighting Daesh and the Taliban.   The lesson that the British learned during the British Empire was get a leader that can lead Afghanistan and have friendly terms with him, there is no winning in Afghanistan, there is just death and the loss of money.  The Trump Oval needs to carry on supporting the Kabul Government, in that it has no choice but also be more in support, not allowing for a mass presence, Afghanistan is a death zone for Empires, just ask the British Empire, the USSR, even the US.

When will POTUS get the fact the he is PRESIDENT, he can order the US Attorney General to investigate Clinton aide Huma Abedin, why is he throwing stones at his own Justice Department, the more he does this, the less chance of them doing something, it can be argued from a Defence prospective that the President is framing Abedin for a fall if he can not get Hillary Clinton.  Trump wanted the Presidency, well then ACT, be Presidential.  The feud between Trump and Clinton's would make an excellent TV Drama some day!

The Tehran Regime is using the old line that there must be foreign forces at work in trying to cause problems in Iran, it so old that even this blogger would never use it, people are not that thick, this is a Regime in trouble and wants to divert attention, it would be better for the Tehran Regime to open channels to the people and reform the system.   Even the USSR fell at the end, people stopped being afraid, and they had the KGB, it is time for the Tehran Regime to either move with the times for face being displaced by their own people.

The CIA in the US and MI6 in UK should be helping the protesters gather in Iran, allow for the development of a new fresh Leadership, also see if the West can help the protesters with arms if they military force by the Tehran Regime.   The Tehran Regime does have missiles and it could use them on their own people or attack Saudi Arabia has to divert the attention of the people and the Western media, one does not want to think of Iran with the bomb, that would be a disaster, this blog does not trust the Tehran Regime, it would not shock this blogger to discover that the Regime was still developing the bomb.  The Tehran Regime and the religious order in charge in Iran are just as bad as the previous Regime, one does pity the poor people of Iran.

The Tehran Regime it seems from the information gathered from social media sources is starting to use their military force to suppress the will of the people, there is no Opposition leader and the protesters do not have any arms.   The UN should consider placing sanctions on the Tehran Regime, of course Russia or China could block that with a Veto.   The US should use the CIA to help the protesters, get information out, help in the formation of a Opposition leadership outside of Iran.  One does feel sorry for the people of Iran, the only good thing to comes out of these new protesters is the fact that the regime is damaged, this type of Regime does not last the course, it just a matter of time before they fall.

Lets Get Real:

In CNN world, everything POTUS does is wrong, even playing golf, while Obama is still seen as the 2nd coming!! In 2009 with protesters on the streets the President Obama wanted to be cautions, it can be argued that even then he was looking for a nuclear deal with Iran, in essence let Tehran do what it liked, killing people, mass arrests, the Obama Oval was on the wrong side of history, on this issue Trump is right, the US should be helping the protesters, being discreet it should help the protesters with access to the Cyber World, as to allow them to gather for demos, even threaten to use military force in support of protesters if it gets down to that level, this could be a chance to remove the Regime, that is not likely but it could be damaged.  IF the USSR can go the way of the dodo, so can the Tehran Regime.*

Lets Get Real:

The article states that the US President has stated that Iran has closed down the internet in Tehran, the Regime is closing links to the outside and preventing people gathering to demonstrate.   The Tehran Regime like other dictatorships is trying to control access to the news, but with mobiles it is not so easy to control an entire Country, with the exception of North Korea.   One report states that a Army base was attacked, is this spin as to allow the Regime to crack down on those protesting, or is a REAL STORY.  That is the problem with social media, it depends who has put it up and why, it is hard to say what is fake news and real news sometimes.   Is the Tehran Regime about to fall, that is an open question.
