Sessions Recuses himself from Russian Connections Scandal - Trump Era

The Hill: Reports " Attorney General Jeff Sessions announced Thursday he will recuse himself from federal investigations into Russia’s interference in the 2016 election. "

Lets Get Real:

The Democrats are creating a New Cold War 2, no one is Washington on the political side will want to talk to the Russian Ambassador.   The Democrats have suddenly become hawks, a Russian connection to the 2016 vote has not been proven.   Of course the Russians hacked the DNC and the Clinton Camp, no one is debating that, the point is that there is no proof that the Russian action changed one vote.   The Democrats are furious with the 2016 vote, they were supposed to WIN, the fact they lost and why has been lost in the shouts that it was the fault of the Russians.   The is NO proof that the Russians hacked the voting system, even the Democrats are not stating that, but when there is a crisis between the US and Russia, the doves in the Democratic Party have created a monster, the hawks will win as they will be afraid of the present reaction.

CNN - Politics: Reports " Several Republicans, many of them increasingly uneasy about the implications of the evolving Russian drama, Thursday called on Sessions to recuse himself from any involvement in an FBI probe into ties between the Trump campaign and Moscow. "

Lets Get Real:

The President is standing by Sessions, the Republicans calling for the AG to recuse himself should get a backbone, AG Sessions has stated that he will recuse himself at the right time, otherwise you have the elite press controlling what the AG looks at and what he passes to his deputy.   The Democrats want a Special Prosecutor so they can fish for any damaging information on Donald Trump and the Administration.   The President should whip the Republicans in the House and the Senate to be firm, the US voter does not care about this kind of process, its a witch hunt, it shows how low the Democrats have gotten, think if the the shoe was on the other foot, they Dems would be saying it was unfair RED scare, it's just politics at the end of the day.

Sessions and the Democrats, Attack FLOPS - Trump Era

Fox News: Reporting the following on the Jeff Sessions scandal, " His defenders say such meetings between senators and diplomats were routine. And Sessions even got an inadvertent boost from Democratic Missouri Sen. Claire McCaskill, who in demanding the AG's resignation initially claimed she never called or met with Russia's ambassador -- only for tweets to surface indicating she had, at least twice.  "

Lets Get Real:

As usual the Democrats jump the gun and do not check their facts, a Democratic Senator tweeted she had never meet the Russian Ambassador only for there to be tweets were she says she is going to meet the Russian Ambassador.   The elite press and the Democrats have such an dislike of Trump that they do not care about the FACTS, and what is actually illegal, they are on a witch hunt, someday the shoe will be on the other foot, let's see how the Democrats react when they are under a witch hunt, of course that will not happen as the press are liberal and is full of fake news.

Lets Get Real:

This is not about Jeff Sessions, it is about the hatred the Democrats have for Donald Trump, they will throw the kitchen sink, there is no actual wrong doing on the behalf of the Attorney General, he was a sitting US Senator and part of his duties was to meet various Ambassadors.   The fact that he meet the Russian Ambassador should not rise an eyebrow.   THE problem could he his answer to the question at his confirmation hearing, it would be WISE for Sessions not to play an active part in the FBI investigation of the Russians and the 2016 election.   The press and the Democrats are out to get Trump.

The New York Times and POTUS - Joint Session of Congress

The New York Times: Reports the following on the speech given by POTUS to the US Congress, " Mr. Trump brandished a blunter rhetorical ax and, for once, delivered on his promise to speak the Reagan Republican dialect of optimism and reconciliation....his speech, echoing, if not entirely approaching, the wispy mountaintop oratory of more polished predecessors like Mr. Obama and Mr. Reagan "

Lets Get Real:

It must be HARD for the liberal elite NYT to say something nice about President Trump, the speech had that Reagan quality, a happy warrior, the President did not surrender his core values, but the tone was different, he spoke of the need for the US Congress to deal with big issues and not get bogged down in small fry, that Democrats eyebrows must have gone up, it can be argued that the Trump has been battling small fry for most of his first month in D.C.  The Oval Office should use the success of the speech to think big, there is ObamaCare, the Oval should be able to make a deal between the Republicans and Democrats about how to change ObamaCare for the better, the system is in the process of self destruction, how can there be choice for the voter if they have only one insurance company in the State.   The President is the symbol of the art of the deal, well it's time for him to get his LBJ, Reagan, Clinton hat on and make a deal.    Then on tax, the Middle Class need a TAX CUT, the lobby companies will try to thwart any deal, this is the time for the Oval to make a deal.   The 1% elite should pay more tax, while Middle America gets the benefit.   The President wants to a trillion dollar program to invest in the US, the Democrats should support this, it depends if they can get away from their base.    On international affairs the President supported NATO, but wants the members to pay more, he is asking that they pay 2% of the GNP on Defence, he stated the pressure was working.   In this speech tonight Trump become close to Reagan, the question is can he keep up that happy warrior rhetoric. 

CNN and POTUS - Joint Session of Congress

CNN - Politics: Reports " President Donald Trump nailed the performance art during his first address to Congress Tuesday night. But turning his solid reviews into tangible policy victories will be a lot more complicated and test more than his showmanship. "

Lets Get Real:

Even the Clinton News Network as Trump has called CNN finds that the President had a hit with the speech before the Joint Session of Congress.   This should give the Oval Office pause, what if POTUS decided that while the Great Mexican Wall is being built, those illegals immigrants bought to the US when young should be given a works green card, the process would work in a simple manner, as the wall is being built, those Dreamers it groups would be given a works card and the right to stay in the US, in fact they would have all the rights of a citizen, minus voting.   This is sound policy and is on the high moral ground, of course the Democrats would be stuck, do they support a good policy, or still ague so they can get votes.  Everything is political these days. 

The Washington Post and POTUS - Joint Session of Congress

The Washington Post: Reports " Donald Trump: This was the best “big” speech he has given as president. It may well have been the best speech Trump has given since he entered politics way back in June 2015. Trump didn't walk away from his decidedly dark vision of the current state of the country, but his overall tone was more conciliatory and optimistic than I've ever heard him.  "

Lets Get Real:

POTUS will be happy about the coverage, even the liberal elite press seem somewhat shocked about how good the speech was, tone could have been Reagan, tough but seeking unity.  Of course the question is can the POTUS not tread on his success, one has found that when POTUS has a good day he does or says something that helps his liberal foes.  The Oval Office should go on the road, push his aims of getting rid of ObamaCare, tax cuts, a major building process, of course the question is where is the money coming from, that will take time to get through the House and Senate.  The Democrats has to be crafty how they deal with Trump or they could get him re-elected.
