The US hits Daesh in Iraq - Iraq War Part 2

Lets Get Real:

The drone strikes have been a successful weapon of the Obama Administration, BUT is it the answer the question of Daesh, the answer is NO, the removal of Daesh will take US and UK Special Forces, in the big cities of Syria and Iraq it will take door to door and street to street fighting.   The West is VERY wary of placing ground troops in Iraq, but as the Bush surge showed it worked, is only when Obama removed the troops without leaving a security force behind did Daesh start to grow.   Thus far a good day for Western security.  

Troops for Libya - Libya Crisis

Lets Get Real:

The UK has an obligation after it helped with the removal of Gaddafi to solve the political and economic mess that is Libya, in this it should be helped by the French and the US, the EU Countries need to help also, if Libya was one country again it could help stop the refugees coming from Syria and heading to EU Countries such as Germany, thus Berlin should also send troops, neither the UK and Germany are new to Libya, many a tank battle was fought there during World War 2.   If you remove a government from a Country you must do something about it when it falls in to a mess, this blog is still opposed to the idea, as Iraq has shown it never works when you leave.

IF Donald Trump is the Republican Nominee he has just lost the November election big time, this blog has always supported the right of women to have an abortion at ANY time. The idea that you could jail women for having an abortion is NUTS, one can only hope that women in large numbers support HRC all the way in November.   The Republican Party Establishment has to make sure that it protects its majority in the House and the Senate, the Donald is a electoral disaster. 

No UK Government takeover of TATA Steel in South Wales

ALL day Jeremy Corbyn has been around South Wales demanding that the UK Government take over TATA Steel in South Wales, the 1980s seem to have passed Corbyn by, there are EU rules to prevent government handouts to a business that is failing.   The Labour Party is having a mid life crisis, the Labour side go on about the Community, well as it was said in the 80s there is no such thing as Community, the people of Port Talbot will have to get on their bikes and move or gain new skills.   The failure of government control of steel land coal is well known, if Steel can not match its price to others it should be CHOPPED, and go the way of dodo. No more bleeding heart stories on the BBC, nothing lasts forever, even the BBC, the Government should tell the BBC to cut it out or the government will sell them off. 

UK Troops for Libya - Cameron's Legacy

Lets Get Real:

This would be a major mistake by the Cameron government, the UK soldiers would be a open target to Daesh, the terrorist group which is losing vast tracks of land in Syria and Iraq could see Libya as a safe haven, also Libya opens the route to Italy and the EU.   The UK Government should only use special forces in Libya, that takes its off the political radar and keeps the House of Commons quiet.    The air was being carried out by the US, UK and France is having the desired results in the Middle East, the UK should be cautious about placing its combat troops in harms way, this policy needs more though and more troops from other countries.

One can only hope that the next US President rips up any agreements between the US and Cuba/Iran, the appeasement policy of President Obama has allowed Cuba and Iran to gain and the US and the West has gained NOTHING from the deals.   The Tehran Regime will use its 150 million to fund its terrorist supporters and keep President Assad in power in Syria.  The CIA should track the movements of Iran after it gets its money back, also does Cuba cut its terrorist links, this blog has its doubts.   In President Obama the World has found a new Neville Chamberlain.

Lets Get Real:

GOOD old Fidel, this will wipe the smile off the face of the Obama White House, Fidel might be in his armchair and out of daily control in Cuba but he still has influence, and this critical attack by Castro shows why POTUS was wrong to go to Cuba, what did the US get out  of it, NOTHING, what did the Cuban people get out of it, NOTHING. Cuba is a prison under the control of the Castor brothers, the sooner the better the Castro brothers are gone will be a good day for Cuba, lets hope democracy comes to Cuba, lets hope the ballot box gets rid of the Castro brothers.
