This idea that the Royal Navy and others to escort tankers through the Strait of Hormuz has come from Trump yesterday, these days Iran has smart Drones, unlike during the Iraq - Iran war of the 1980. This idea should be tested first with US ships, the UK should back them up if it works.  The UK does not have many ships to lose! We don't have admirals any more!

The Trump Oval should have thought about before starting the WAR, Trump was critical of the Reagan Oval for using the US Navy to escort tankers during the Iraq - Iran War in the 1980s.  Trump should have remembered this event, the US Navy and Allies will come under attack, they need to be ready.  Oil price will go down, as more oil comes to the market through the IEA and Naval escort of tankers.

The IEA has released 400 million barrels of oil, that will calm the market.  This takes time, prices should fall, the US Navy needs to convoy tankers through Strait of Hormuz, like they did during the Iraq - Iran War.  The market needs to calm down, this is not end of the World.
