The US waiting for Iran's response to its latest peace plan, thus every action by Iran is seen as a skirmish in the words of Trump.  The Trump Oval wants out of the War before Trump's visit to China and the Mid Terms.  The price of gas has gone up and inflation is making harder for Americans to pay their bills.  The Democrats are using affordability against the Trump Oval, thus a weak Trump wants out of the War.

The US is calling the action defensive, POTUS is desperate to end the WAR he started, he needs a clear victory.  The main points are that the Strait of Hormuz has to be clear for oil tankers and Iran has to give up its nuclear stockpile.  Anything less would be a PR disaster for Trump before the Mid Terms in November.

Thus another Trump TACO moment, the US Navy only has had 2 vessels through the Strait of Hormuz, now Trump paused the operation, just because Pakistan asked, does not mean you grant the request.  What has Iran agreed to do, NOTHING, Trump is desperate, he wants out of the War he started, Trump is so weak, its embarrassing for the US and the World.

This is bad for Government funding, that means the government can spend less on Defence, and other government priorities.  The shock from the closure of the Strait of Hormuz has not really hit the UK yet, it will, the PM has warned inflation is coming, and the War is not finished as yet, it could days, weeks even months. Start saving those pennies.

At last Trump is doing something, like Reagan's Convoy of tankers in the late 1980s.   The US Navy might have to defend itself, Tehran will make fake claims, it needs to bolster support with its minority supporters.  Readers should have 2 sources for their news, everything is political these days.

Thus the Iranian claim was FAKE NEWS, the Regime does this to bolster its supporters, that why a FREE press is needed.  The Trump Oval would have acted if a US ship was hit.  Readers should be wary of original sources, they might be trying to Spin the news.  This is not new for this war.

The above is from Iranian state TV, it could be FAKE News, waiting for confirmation from Western Media or the US.  IF TRUE, the US will hit back hard IF TRUE, the fog of war, information is a weapon.

The Trump Administration started this war without Allies, at Bush 43 had the UK and others in the Iraq War.  The Strait of Hormuz should have been planned for, of course Iran was going to block it, that is their main asset, the US Chief of Staff should have planned for blocking of oil.  The UK these days does not have the ships to lose to a drone or mine strike.  The US should do it first, like in late 1980s.  If it works, then we can come in.  This will shaft the Ukraine, Trump is a transactional politican, in other words you scratch my back and I will scratch yours, political decisions are tough, on thus UK PM is right at this moment.

This idea that the Royal Navy and others to escort tankers through the Strait of Hormuz has come from Trump yesterday, these days Iran has smart Drones, unlike during the Iraq - Iran war of the 1980. This idea should be tested first with US ships, the UK should back them up if it works.  The UK does not have many ships to lose! We don't have admirals any more!
