The Boris BOUNCE, Conservatives LEAD Labour by 10% - General Election 2019?

Lets Get Real:

After tomorrow the Conservative majority will be down to 1 Seat and this is will the support of the DUP.   The maths in the House of Commons does not look good, it might be time for Boris to call a General Election or force the Labour Party to bring a NO CONFIDENCE VOTES, by pushing ahead with a NO DEAL BREXIT.  The UK voter has to make up its mind, in 2016 it voted for BREXIT, but then in 2017 gave power to a minority Conservative Government.  The House of Commons is full of Remainers with a bias Speaker.  Let's be honest here, with the best will world, no one can say that former PM May was a good campaigner, on the other hand Boris breaths for campaigning.  No 10 should get ready for an early election.

This blog is a firm supporter President Reagan, as one of the greatest Presidents in US history, he was no perfect, he made mistakes, he was human.  Let's recall that the first President of the US, George Washington had slaves, that Woodrow Wilson had big ideas for the World but was a racist when it came to African - Americans working for the Federal Government.  Then we have JFK's numerous affairs and his intern.  The above recording was made when the UN recognition China over Taiwan and gave them their Seat at the UN.  Then Governor Reagan was angry, sometimes when we are angry we make mistakes, this is an example from the above.   Also he did not know that Nixon was recording his calls and office meetings.  One can assume the LEFT will run with story, they are so PC, will they be that when the Martin Luther King Jr tapes are released, we shall see. 

The First Democratic Debate - Review - Election 2020

Lets Get Real:

This blog watched the two hour debate; ( CNN had  a good format, and stopped the candidates just speaking their talking points ); the main winners when it comes to Democratic politics was Senators Warren and Sanders, they fought their positions and did not buckle when under attack from the moderates.   As the base of the Democratic Party is very far left, the two main candidates did not suffer in the room or from larger exposure on TV.  Of course US voters are not the Democratic base, Trump would have no problem is taking down either Warren or Sanders, he would use their support for getting rid of private medical cover, a policy that would hit Union members, who have fought for good medical cover.   Also giving medical cover to illegal migrants will not sell on the open market, in fact the Trump Campaign had a political advert out before the debates.  It is hard hitting and makes the claim that the Democratic candidates are socialists, something neither Warren or Sanders could really refute in a Presidential Debate with Trump.   It is said it is good to sleep on a debate to see what you think the following morning, well the one quote this blog does recall is one by Senator Sanders, when he was coming under attack for his bill on health, the Senator snapped back that he " wrote the dam bill ", thus knew the details.  It will be interesting to see what the frontrunner VP Biden says about last night's debate, he will come across as a moderate.  The VP faces both Senators Harris and Booker tonight, to his left and right, will they go after him, on race yes, how will Biden react, he just has to look like he is alive, after the last debate, that he can counter punch.   The real winners after the two debates can be seen after tonight's debate, there are 20 candidates after all. 

Trump ATTACKS Democrats on Health Care - Election 2020

The Trump Campaign Committee is placing race at the forefront of its campaign.  It is painting the Democrats as FAR TO LEFT WING.  The 2020 race could come to RACE, and how safe the health care for Americans is with a Democrat in the Oval.  POTUS will try to define the Democratic Nominee as a socialist, tax hiking candidate.  The 2020 will get dirty very fast. 

Alastair Campbell OUT of Labour - General Election 2019?

This blog never thought it would see the day that Alastair Campbell would leave the LABOUR PARTY in the hands of Jeremy Corbyn.   This blog as has many others have predicted that there will be a General Election either in September or October, the Labour Party with the support of the HARD REMAINERS will either STOP BREXIT or bring a No Confidence vote against Boris Johnson.  The UK voters will have a final say on Brexit, also the Conservative Party can get rid of those Conservative MPs who bring down the government, the Conservative whip can be withdrawn from them.  In that context the hard remainers can stand as Independent candidates, let's see how many votes they get!

Tuesday's Democratic Presidential Debate - Election 2020

BBC News: Reports on the contest between Senators Sanders and Warren, " The ingredients are there for sparks to fly. After a slow start, Warren has been steadily building support and surpassed Sanders both in second-quarter fund-raising and in some of the early-state polls.  "

Lets Get Real:

Tuesday is the first round, the main contest will be between Warren and Sanders, will they fight each other for the same voters or will they unite against the other more moderate candidates.  The big match so to speak is Wednesday, that will see VP Biden vs. Harris and Booker.   The VP has fought back since his disaster in the last debate, is still leads national polls and State polls in Iowa and New Hampshire.  The VP can expect Senator Booker to go after his support of the 1994 Crime Bill, while Harris might want to attack Biden for his civil relationship with racist Senators, but since she has done that before, she might want to go on to other subjects.   In the bigger picture POTUS is not helping himself, his racist tweets is taking away a look at his successful economic record, high employment within ethnic groups, the stock market is high, and the economy looks good.  Any other President would be a shoe it for a 2nd term, but Trump is making it harder for himself, Reagan in his first term had a major recession, but he turned it around and won 49 States against Walter Mondale, it should be noted that Reagan did not appease Russia, as his speech on the " Evil Empire ", he was tough on foreign policy.   Trump should learn from Reagan, he really was the Teflon President. 

Boris REFUSES to meet EU Leaders while the Backstop remains - Election 2019?

As stated Boris is going ALL IN, as they say in Texas poker, he knows he one job is to get the UK out of the EU by the 31st of October, otherwise he is toast.  The Hard Remainers will use any underhanded method to prevent a NO DEAL BREXIT, in this they are helped by a bias Speaker, who overturns Centuries of convention if it helps the Remainers.   At the end of the day the decision might come down to the Queen, she is the Sovereign, she as is custom will follow the advice of her PM, this could get quite tricky for the Palace, one only hopes the Hard Remainers and Hard Brexit supporters do not go to far, after all the Queen should not be political, but in the case of Brexit it might be her final decision that ends debate.  No one, not even the Speaker would go against the Queen.
