Obama's DIVE in the POLLS - 2nd Term Blues

CNN - Politics: Reports the following on President Obama's job approval polls, " The president's approval rating stands at 45%, according to a CNN average of four national polls conducted over the past week and a half. And a CNN Poll of Polls compiled and released Thursday also indicates that Obama's disapproval rating at 49%. ".

Lets Get Real:

Folks sooner or later, every US 2nd term President finds that he losses support on the Hill, either through scandal OR just the political cycle, in many respects a 2nd term President is a lame duck the moment he wins, the less power a Oval has is directed by his poll numbers, as noted my morning tweet, a CBS/NYT poll had POTUS on a 43% Approval rating, the US economy has not returned to its 2008 level, there are millions of Americans who have given up looking for a job, thus they are not counted in those seeking a job, thus the unemployment rate is low, not due to people getting hired but because people have fallen in to thinking what is the point, also with ObamaCare if you hire a person for under 30 hours do not have to give them healthcare, thus many working class and graduates find themselves doing part time jobs or jobs that do not require a degree.   On the international stage Obama has had to deal with the Snowden scandal and that disaster that is the US policy over Syria, in many respects 2nd term Presidents have more freedom on the World Stage than at home, Obama has failed to get that fact, he makes demands of Congress as if he is back in early 2009, well folks the political train has moved, there are the 2014 Mid Terms coming up, the Democrats will not get the House back, but they have to fight to keep the Senate, and then we have 2016, every 2nd term President finds at the end if he ran naked around the White House the press would not be interested, there is Iowa in 2016 then comes NH, then the Primary debates and then we have the general.   That is the thing about democracy folks, it moves on, new leaders and issues, thank goodness for democracy folks. 

ObamaCare Part 2 - 2nd Term Blues

Guardian: Reports the following on the fight between Obama's White House and the US House, "  Obama stands firm on healthcare in face of escalating Republican stand-off.....GOP outlines demands for host of political concessions amid twin threats over US debt ceiling and Affordable Care Act ".

Lets Get Real:

The Republicans in the House and Senate have to stand firm on the debt ceiling, not allow their leaders to roll over, the Republicans should not shut down the Government, this blog does not think it would be a political disaster that the elite media is throwing out every time, when you look at the results of the last shut downs in the 90s, the Republicans did not lose the House and in 2000 Bush 43 won the Presidency.   If you remove the threat of a shut down the job of the Oval is to manage the debt of the US, thus if the Oval wants to spend more it needs to raise the debt ceiling, well the Republicans should make the Oval pay, the price being a delay for 1 year in ObamaCare.   The elite establishment will argue that the US will lose its credit rating, what does having a 17 trillion debt do the long term credit rating of the US, the welfare state of the US is killing the US dream, it does not work in such a vast Country as the US, the US is not Belgium, a European welfare state does not work when you have a population of over three hundred million and growing.  To save the US the Republicans have to stand together, delay ObamaCare. 

ObamaCare the US Debt Ceiling - 2nd Term Blues

BBC News: Reports that the Republican House will only agree to a raise in the debt ceiling if ObamaCare is delayed for the year.

Lets Get Real: 

This is a smart move by the House, ObamaCare by its own extensive structure is falling apart, the Oval has suspended many aspects of ObamaCare because the structure is not there, as an example the employer part of ObamaCare has be delayed in till next year, even the insurance exchanges might NOT WORK on time.   The House should stay firm on this, no raise in the debt ceiling no matter what, the price of the US paying its BILLS should be that ObamaCare is thrown in to the long grass for the year, thus ALL parts ObamaCare come in to effect at the same time.   A year is a long time in politics folks, then you get in to the 2014 Mid Terms and the run up to the 2016 Presidential Election, if the Republicans can hold the line how many Democrats are going to support ObamaCare that close to an election cycle.  That is the fun of politics folks. 

Obama saved by Iran - No Meeting!

Guardian - UN Live: Reports in its 4.03 pm  ( US ) post the following, " A prospective handshake "encounter" between presidents Obama and Rouhani will not happen after all. US administration officials said the White House had offered an "encounter" but Iran took a pass, saying it was "too complicated."."

Lets Get Real:

And folks this blog had give the Oval the benefit of the doubt, thus Oval offered a meeting but was turned down by Iran, typical of Obama, he does not understand that most Countries would give their right arm for a photo op with the US President, and Iran turns him down, thus they have the upper hand, Obama is so weak, three and half years of this folks, the US will need a new Reagan by 2017. 

No Obama - Rouhani Meeting at the UN - Appeasement Path

BBC News: Reports that President Obama will not meet the new President of Iran, Hassan Rouhani at the UN.

Lets Get Real:

It seems that someone has the sense of the Obama staff not to allow the image of Obama meeting Rouhani, you never know when that kind of pic can come back to haunt you, lets recall that Tony Blair met Gaddafi of Libya, that UK PM Chamberlain met Hitler in Munich in 1938 and that the Duke of Windsor ( formally Edward VIII ) also met Hitler.   Rouhani is making the right noises for the liberal left wing press, but actions are needed from the Tehran Regime, we need to see that Iran will give up its plan to become a nuclear military power, only then can there be real talks, otherwise its Munich 1938 all over again folks. 

President Obama at the UN

The White House: President Obama stated the following at a UN Meeting, " It’s time for Russia and Iran to realize that insisting on Assad’s rule will lead directly to the outcome that they fear:  an increasingly violent space for extremists to operate.  In turn, those of us who continue to support the moderate opposition must persuade them that the Syrian people cannot afford a collapse of state institutions, and that a political settlement cannot be reached without addressing the legitimate fears and concerns of Alawites and other minorities.

We are committed to working this political track.  And as we pursue a settlement, let’s remember this is not a zero-sum endeavor.  We’re no longer in a Cold War.  There’s no Great Game to be won, nor does America have any interest in Syria beyond the wellbeing of its people, the stability of its neighbors, the elimination of chemical weapons, and ensuring that it does not become a safe haven for terrorists. ".

Lets Get Real:

How naive can you be and still be President of the US, President Putin of Russia must be laughing his backside off, he has a Neville Chamberlain in he Oval, all Putin and Assad have to do is to keep Syria on the front page to show how weak President Obama is, the game never ends folks, the Russian bear understands that, the UK Lion gets that fact, has Obama removed the claws of the American Eagle, by this kind of language the Oval has shown that its going to be a frosty three years for the US and the West, Assad with Russian troops is going to play Obama, the Tehran Regime is going to go nuclear, it is sad that President Obama has not grown in office, he still thinks if he says something its REAL, yes folks, the weak egotist has struck again at the UN, this blog really misses the Reagan and Thatcher Era folks. 

Russian IN Syria - Syria Crisis Latest

Telegraph: Reports the following on Russian- Syrian policy, " ..Russia was ready to send troops to Syria, as part of an international presence to insure the safety of UN chemical weapons inspectors. ".

Lets Get Real:

Folks, the only fighting the Russians will be doing is fighting the rebels, and in that process the the Assad Regime will playing games with the UN and the West, the West has to make it clear to Putin, any more Russian troops in Syria and the WMD deal is off, that has to be  a deal breaker, once the Russians are in force under UN cover they will never leave, the rebels will be crushed by the forces of Russia and Iran.    The US and its allies can not give up on a UN Chapter 7 resolution, it makes sure that should Assad break his word the West can take action, the Russians are opposed because the WMD deal is a head fake of the first order.    It is only a matter of time before Assad breaks his word and the Oval looks even more foolish.   The Russians are playing clever chess while the West is looking on asking what the rules of the game are, the rule folks is who wins and who losses, in this game there can be no draw.
