The article notes that VP Harris will not run for Governor of California in 2026, thus it allows her to run again 2028, when Trump term comes to a near end with the Presidential Election in November.   This time there will be a real challenge for the Nomination, and Harris will be seen as a LOSER, after losing to Trump in 2024.  One can bet that Trump whoever he supports on the Republican side, will try and make her a two time LOSER.

Trump is tired of carrying the Putin weight, he has more home scandals to deal with, thus its easier to go after Russia and Putin.   The Kremlin has wasted its chance to get Trump fully on board, Putin wants the old days of the two powers shorting out problems, those days are gone, Russia is no longer a Super Power, the USSR is gone, even the Russian Empire fell in 1917.  Trump should go tough on Putin and Russia, that will divert attention from his home scandals.   In fact what Trump needs is for Russia to miss read the situation  and attack a NATO member, thus Article 5 would come in to force, ALL FOR ONE, etc.   One has to believe that Putin is not that mad or reckless.
