Thus we wait for the Israeli Government to ACT, one can postulate that Israel will hit, if it is going to on the weekend, no sovereign state could tolerate the recent attacks by drones, cruise missiles and ballistic  missiles and not go on the offensive, deterrence only works if the other side is afraid of the reaction.   The Israeli Government has the Iron Dome, it can shoot down drones, cruise and ballistic missiles, it is very much like Reagan's SDI, a shield to protect Israel, and makes any reaction by Iran a near failure.   If Israel hits Iran's nuclear facilitates  it could set Iran months back from having the bomb, and allow Biden not be an appeaser is the Oval Office.   Time will tell.

It can be postulated that Israel will not ACT in till the weekend, the UK Foreign Secretary is coming for a visit, also Germany.    The Israeli will not want to embarrass the UK or Germany.   A narrow and limited strike will remind the Iran Regime, that there is a PRICE for its attack, this blog would not be surprised if Israel hits Hamas in Gaza hard but also Hezbollah in Lebanon rather than hit Iran.   It can be argued that Israeli honour would be served but without an escalation in the Region.   The nagging thought that this blog has, what happens next time, and there will be a next time, when the US and the Allies are dealing with the Ukraine or China invading Taiwan, who will defend Israel then?   That is a open question, Biden and Sunak could be OUT of office THEN, the West it can be argued is in 1930s mode, they want to appease threats, that never lasts, is WW3 around the corner.

This blog doubts that Israel will hit Iran's nuclear facilities, the Israeli Government would only hit those if the US went along with it, the Oval Office has an appeaser at the moment, well when it comes to Iran, Biden has made it clear that the US will not joint any attack on Iran.  The more likely targets are Iran's Command and Control structure or its terrorist groups in Gaza or Lebanon, of course time will tell, the Israeli special forces might be used or a cyber attack on Tehran.   The World is calling out for restraint from Israel, no Country would not do something, let's recall that Iran shot 320 drones, cruise missiles and Ballistic missiles at Israel, there has to be a response, Israel has many options on the table.

This blog got it WRONG, it never thought IRAN would attack Israel, the question next, is what will Israel do? No Sovereign Country could accept last night's attack and DO NOTHING, Biden says take the WIN, no one was hurt, no buildings destroyed, a child is in hospital, it could have been a lot worse, Israel has its IRAN DOME, to take out incoming attacks from DRONES, CRUISE MISSILES, and BALLISTIC MISSILES, ALSO Israel had help from the UK, US, and Jordan. In all Iran threw 320+ of the above at Israel, 99% were shot down.   This blog would not trust Biden with foreign policy advice, but and of course there is always a but, Israel should hit Israel back, a limited attack, the US has said will not join in any attack, thus Israel has to be careful, Israel could take out military bases that launched the attack last night, the Command and Control structure of Iran, or go fir the BIG ATTACK, take out Iran plans to have the BOMB.  This is a developing story.

This blog will bet that Iran will not strike Israel with a direct missile from Iran, that would mean ALL BET ARE OFF, Israel would counter any strike, with a strike on Iran, let's recall ISRAEL hit Iraq's nuclear site in 1981 and did the same with Syria in recent years.   Also let's recall that Israel has the BOMB, it could wipe out Iran if it wanted too, or if Iran become a MAJOR THREAT to Iran.   POTUS has to say the above, he has stabbed Israel in the back over its war in Gaza.   This blog could be wrong, it is not unknown, a terrorist attack on an Embassy is more likely, enough to hurt Israel, but without giving them reason to attack Iran Itself.  The Tehran Regime is not stupid or suicidal at the present.

The IDF has been removed to please the Americans, Biden read the riot act to the Israeli PM, he has taken his time, the hope is that his polls will improve in the swing states.  There are a lot of Americans of Arab Decent there.  On the other hand the Biden Administration is sending arms to Israel, we shall see if Biden is all rhetoric and no substance over the next few days.  It has been clear to those that read this blog that it supports Israel, with the exception when British Citizens or interests are hurt, Israel has made it point to Hamas, NOW is the time for hard peace talks for both sides.

Donald Trump has made a political decision, he knows he will not win in less he can get the women of the suburbs to VOTE FOR HIM, the Democrats have made it  clear that they will use abortion as major issue in the 2024 race, thus Trump is going half way, leaving it up to the States, those women in the Suburbs have the money to Liberal States for an abortion, but also states he supports exceptions, this is aimed at poor women.  As a CNN report stated, the left will not be happy, they want abortion on demand, while the right want to ban abortion.   The polls over the next few days will be interesting, will it cost Trump or get him more support.
