The THREAT to CUT OFF Gas from Russia to Europe - Russian - Ukraine War - New Cold War 2

Lets Get Real:

The Russians are bluffing, without the money from the West the Russian State would fall apart and the War in the Ukraine would be OVER FAST,  and the Western economy would be stalled.  Thus the Russians have bluffed using the WRONG weapon, if they threatened a NATO country that would get the attention of the West and the US.  That is also a bad move, NATO has 30 Countries and Russia just has Russia at the end the day, the West would wipe the floor with the Russians, and any major defeat from that would bring down the the Putin Regime, of course that is based on Putin being semi sane, if he has gone off his rocker that is a different game, and the West should be calling for REGIME CHANGE.  The question is, is Putin a great poker player or has he lost the deck and is striking at what he can.   The next few days will be interesting on that count.

The Russians are using talks to get some free good PR, they have no intention of getting a REAL DEAL, the Russians have made it clear that Putin will not meet with the President of the Ukraine at the present, they want to place more pressure on the Ukraine, they want to kill more people and destroy the Ukraine State.   The Russians have been helped by the gaffe by President Biden in Poland, when he stated the following on Putin, "  For God’s sake, this man cannot remain in power.  " the European West has backtracked on that, on that issue they were helped by the Biden White House, who talked backed the comments before the President got to his car.  That was a mistake by the Biden Oval, when a President says whatever one is thinking and is overruled by Foggy Bottom ( the US State Department ) no one can trust what Biden's says, it gives ground to the idea that Biden cannot be trusted out by himself and has gone gaga. The Biden Oval should have owned the comment and make the US State Department and Western Europe support it, what would have they done, said that Putin was ? Hardly.  The comment went down well in the Ukraine, and they are doing the fighting and getting killed by the Russians.  In 1987 when President Reagan was in Berlin he talked to his National Security Advisor, that the US State Department did not want him to say Mr Gorbachev tear down this wall ( Berlin Wall ), the President overruled them and did it his way, in 1989 the Wall came down, but in most footage it is showing going down after the Reagan speech.  It makes you believe that the Gipper could see how that part of the speech would be played in the future.

Are the Russians trying to let lose massive radiation on the whole of the Ukraine, they keep shooting at nuclear installations, one of these days they will get unlucky and release mass radiation across Ukraine and the whole of Western Europe, radiation can also reach the Russian Federation, is Putin really in control of his forces or are his forces doing his bidding, with no idea on the damage they can cause to Ukraine and the World, one has to ask are they trying for another Chernobyl ( 1986 ), that helped bring down the USSR.  The Biden Oval has to warn Russia, that when it comes to nuclear issues and breaches of rules that could lead to another meltdown the US will take action, and it does not matter if the Kremlin likes or not.  The Ukraine is under threat from chemical attack and the Russians causing a nuclear breach by their shooting and missile launches, and this is happening in the 21st Century.

POTUS went off the official speech with the above, the White House stated that the President was not calling for regime change in Russia, in other words a Biden gaffe, but it was the RIGHT THING to say in Poland, this will be heard around the WORLD even in RUSSIA.  One hopes that the people of Russia get out on the streets to demonstrate against the WAR CRIMINAL President.  The President stated that the Ukraine War will be long term, the West might have to carry the Ukraine for months when it comes to supplies of weapons and other military kit.  Also the West will have to help with the food supply, the Ukraine economy has stopped, the only other worse economy is Russia.   The West should use the Russian reserves held in the West to support the UKRAINE at this time and also fund its refugee crisis, Western Europe, in this case Poland has taken in million of refugees, they will need support and also more military protection should the Russian gaze go to Poland.  The above call was a good call by POTUS, the White House should not have attempted to clear it up.  It makes it look like Biden cannot be trusted with a speech.

One assumes the Russians are not telling the truth about how many of their soldiers they have lost in the Ukraine, this is political and PR mistake, the true number will get out, the body bags being sent home will do that, what ever restrictions Putin puts on people talking, the worst Russian invasion since Afghanistan in 1979 will have people talking, in whispers but it will get out.  The Kremlin on the political front is also doing a MISTAKE, if it was smarter it would tell the Russian people about their loses, the Kremlin could argue that the evil West is supporting the KYIV Government and thus it is important to stand up to the Ukraine and the West, but of course that would take a brain open to the TRUTH, so far Putin has a horrible historian and a bad Hollywood movie critic, if today's rantings are anything to go by.  Putin stated that the Hollywood over looked the role of the red army in World War 2 or the Great Patriotic War it is called in Russia. This is simply not true, Hollywood did many pro Stalin and USSR talkies during the WAR, that is why the Congress went after them in the late 1940s and 50s.  Of course it should be noted that Russia took its time to join the Allies, it took the German invasion of Russia in 1941, and even then Stalin hid under his desk for the week.  Russian intelligence has informed Stalin about the threat of invasion but he did not believe them, he had signed a Nazi - Soviet Non Aggression Pact with Nazi Germany in August 1939. If you sub with the Devil, better have a long spoon, and do not expect sympathy from the West, you are not going to get it from this blogger.   The Russians have a trend of not being a create partner, Lenin signed a peace deal with Germany in 1918 and removed Russia from World War 1.  Thus as stated above the Kremlin needs to tell the truth about the number of deaths in the Ukraine, it will come out anyway and Putin ravings require a mental care, the Russian people need to overthrow the EVIL REGIME of the former EVIL EMPIRE.

The War in the North has not gone well for the Russians, the Army of the Ukraine has those that have joined the forces have kept Russia from getting to KYIV and surrounding it, and from reports it seems that the Ukrainian Army is taking the fight to the Russians.  Thus the Kremlin might move its forces to the East, as shown by the bombing and destruction of Mariupol the Russians have no limits in the number innocent people they kill for Putin.  It was reported today that about three hundred people were killed in the theatre bombing, that is a estimate as Mariupol is still in combat mode, also in the view of the UN the RUSSIANS have created WAR CRIMES by kidnapping people from the City.   On the whole a East move would work for the PR of the Kremlin, they can argue that the have a land corridor from East Ukraine to the Crimea.  The problem is will the KYIV Government give those sectors as concessions to the Russians and will the people of the Ukraine approve such a measure in a Country wide referendum.  This WAR has some time to go, before peace.

The Russians thought they would have a quick victory over the KYIV Government, that has not happened, in fact Russian Forces gains are being reversed by the Army of the Ukraine.  The Northern part of the invasion has not gone to plan, the Russians are having problems taking small cities, it has destroyed Mariupol in the South, and are have abducted the citizens according to the UN.   The Russians have prevented food getting to Mariupol from the KYIV Government but are sending food and water supplies for the people, thus seeking base good PR.  The KYIV Government should limits its concessions to the Russians, what they might demand and get are two different things.  The Ukraine Army has the wind to its back, while the Russians are losing Generals all over the place.  The War will be one of attrition, who ever stands at the end is the winner.
