UK PM Johnson to TALK to Putin - Cold War 2/WW3

Sky News: Reports " Boris Johnson will step up his presence in the Russia-Ukraine crisis by holding a call with Russian President Vladimir Putin and visiting the region "in the coming days".  "

Lets Get Real:

The US, French, UK leaders all want the CREDIT if Putin backs off, none are willing to go that extra step and place troops in the Ukraine.  If the US or the UK placed troops in Western Ukraine the Russians would back off in a minute, they do not want a nuclear war over the Ukraine, and a nuclear war is not in the long term plans of Putin.  The SAD fact is that neither the US or UK have a Reagan, Churchill or Thatcher in charge, one can see those leaders taking charge and doing something, not just reacting to the moves of Putin.  One must assume that Putin is loving the attention of the West, visits by Ministers and calls with Heads of States.  Putin knows that the West is WEAK and FECKLESS with leaders to match. Neither Biden or Johnson has the majority support of the people in their home countries, thus they do not have the nerve to place troops in the Ukraine to WARN OFF Putin. 

The FEAR of a Ukraine - Russian War - New Cold WAR 2/WW3

Lets Get Real:

One does really hope that the people of the Ukraine will fight if the Russians invade, after the debacle that was Afghanistan, were the Government dissolved and the President ran away, the West after supporting the Ukraine with lethal arms cannot afford to be WRONG AGAIN, from what one can see from reports people are getting ready to FIGHT, even Old age pensioners, the question is if the Ukraine Army have to fight a insurgence how will they be supported, will the West fly in supplies or try to take them over the border by trucks, will the Russians be warned not to attack Western supply planes, tricky.  Putin is old enough to remember Afghanistan after 1979, and how the US under the Reagan Administration supported the insurgence against Moscow, and how the USSR left Afghanistan in 1989, the failure in Afghanistan was seen as part of the reason that the USSR fell.  If Putin has a failure in Ukraine, could he be overthrown or even better arrested and face trial in Russia.  Everyone has a reason to win, non one can afford to lose in this Ukraine Crisis.

Lets Get Real:

POTUS building up the pressure on Putin of Russia, but then under cutting the remark by saying not a lot, who says that, a former Senator who has not gotten over being a SENATOR.  It can be argued that Putin has marked Biden's card, as feckless and weak after AFGHANISTAN, and a leader without the support of the American people.  As stated in previous post it will take the ground on the Ukraine and Russian border two weeks to get hard, as to allow the movement of tanks.  In that time the West, the US, UK and other countries are sending lethal arms to the Kiev Government, the President of Ukraine is worried that the talk of WAR with Russia will send the economy in to tailspin and down the toilet.  It really depend what one means by imminent, that is the word used by the West to describe the forthcoming Russian invasion, the Kiev Government has been fighting the Russians in East Ukraine for years since the 2014 takeover of the Crimea.   The Germans have not helped, they have sent five thousands HATS, yes hats, the new Berlin Government does not want to annoy Moscow.  If Biden was tough like JFK OR Reagan he would have sent the 101st airborne in to the Ukraine and drawn a RED LINE.  But then Biden is WEAK and a LOSER, another Jimmy Carter!

It is a matter of waiting, Putin will want to look like he made some effort to read the answers from POTUS and NATO, but then what will he do?  The level of Russian troops at the Ukraine border is increasing, the tensions are getting worse, the UK stated yesterday that it would send troops to Eastern Europe to defend NATO members.  If the military experts are right the Kremlin is waiting for the ground on the Ukraine and Russian border to go HARD, thus the ability of tanks to move, say that is two weeks, the West has the time to increase the pressure on Putin, make him rethink the idea and call off the invasion, on the other hand, if Putin does invade he will be a war criminal, the Ukraine is a democracy and moving Westwards, the Eastern European Countries in NATO and the EU will want military support in case Putin fancies his chances with the Baltic States and Poland. Thus a few more weeks before WAR.

Lets Get Real:

Thus another stick to poke the Russian Bear, the pipeline would bring in millions in to Russia of Western currency.  President Putin has boxed himself in, he has been VERY FIRM with his demands, can he save face now by accepting the secondary ideas from the West, such as a new INF Treaty and agreements on military games for both sides.  It has been reported that Putin is waiting for the ground to be firm before invading the Ukraine, that time should give him second thoughts, is the pain to himself and Russia worth it, what will the people think if he does not invade, will he look weak, interesting few weeks ahead.  The question is how lucky is Biden?  Will his economic threats do the trick.  The Biden impression might decide if Putin takes the risk, does he think that Biden does not have the spine for a tough war, the question is do the Russian people.  The Kremlin has hid the number of Russian deaths in East Ukraine, that is why it has been reported that the Russian Army has already dug pits for the burial of any Soldiers killed in a attack, as to avoid the body bags coming home.

Lets Get Real:

The two main Russian demands are that UKRAINE never joins NATO and that NATO troops are removed from East European States in NATO, those Countries that were part of the old Warsaw Pact.  The simple answer to the Russians is NO and Hell NO, but course the US State Department will put it in diplomatic language, what the US can offer is TALKS on a new INF Treaty that the Russians broke numerous times before and agreement on when military games will take place.  It will be up to the Russians to respond, if Putin wants a face saving way out of this crisis that is a GOOD DEAL.  Of course the latest threat by Russian to take appropriate measures if they do not get what they want will call for NATO to place NATO troops in Poland and the Baltic States.  One hopes Russians are just playing games, it could cost them if they take the wrong path.

Lets Get Real:

The Russians should not make threats they cannot carry out, if the West were to take the above as REAL, then NATO would have to send a military build up to Poland and the Baltic States.  The Russian President is ACTING more like Hitler every day, is this his Munich 1938, does he want a REAL WAR and thus is pushing his demands, does he really think he can win a WAR against NATO.  One would have to be MAD to think that, or is he bluffing, at what point does he pull back, is he waiting for an answer to his written demands before invading, that is a open question.  The Russian Army if it tried its luck in the Baltic States or Poland would face the full FORCE of NATO.  Neither side want that, so what is the cut off point for Putin, what does he really want, just to absorb East Ukraine in to Russia, or does he want more, the West awaits!
