The Conservative NAUGHTY STEP has new members - House of Commons Today

BBC News: Reports on the House of Commons motion to return the House of Commons to normal practice and not virtual debates and voting, the article states the following, " Thirty-one Conservative MPs voted against the government, including Ms Bradley and other select committee chairs such as Tom Tugendhat and Greg Clark, and former ministers such as Tracey Crouch and John Redwood.  "

The Conservative NAUGHTY STEP has new members, and some of them are hard BREXIT supporters, they got used during the May period to having their mugs on the TV, mostly in opposition to the Government, now they are starting with PM Boris, but the trick that PM has is the fact that he has a 80 seat majority, and the new members of the Commons want to go up the greasy poll and become Ministers and finally in to the Cabinet.  The former Ministers and HARD REMAINERS have nothing to lose, as politicians their careers are over, either because they were sacked as a Minister or they are HARD REMAINERS who can not be trusted.  The Government set out a 3 line whip, for its members to support the Government, the Chief Whip needs a stern work with these rebels, stop them before they start causing trouble. 

Brexit talks Update 1 - Transition Talks

Lets Get Real:

As usual the left wing Guardian takes the side of the EU, both sides want an agreement that they can sell as a victory, the problem is that the EU normally expect countries to buckle and give way, this will not happen in 2020, Boris Johnson won the recent election on getting Brexit done, that means that the EU has to give way or the UK will walk out.  If that is the outcome it will be hard for the UK, but after COVID - 19 we are already in a mess, it will hardly add to our problems.  The UK PM can go out and and make deal with the rest of the World, without having to worry about the EU.  If we extend the transition deal we will have to pay for such an honour.  The British voter out in 2019, this must be the final result. 

The Law and Order President Part 2 - US Election 2020

Lets Get Real:

It would be unlawful for a President to send US troops in to States if they have not been requested, the US Constitution and the Law is firm on that.  The President used his Rose Garden and his walk to the Church as a great pic opportunity, he also held a Bible.   This PR moment could do wonders for him in the rust belt States.   The Democrats have to recall that after the race riots of 1968, it was the Republican Richard Nixon who WON over the sitting VP to LBJ.   On the whole main street wants peaceful streets and law and order.  The problem with Trump, is that when something goes right for him, he messes it up before it can do any good for his job approval ratings.

Lets Get Real:

This blog belives in peaceful protests, but what has occured over the last week is not peaceful protest, if the Police tell you to move on, you  move, you do not sit down and make them take action in removing protesters from the STREET.  Of course from the perception of the arch liberal CNN, its all Trump's fault, does anyone really listen to CNN for balanced news, its gone like the The New York Times, produced by the elite for the elite and for self hating white liberals.  If protesters do not move the RIOT ACT should be read, three warnings and then the Police and the National Guard should go on and arrest those protesters who disobey a Policeman or the National Guard.   The Democrats have to be careful, if they are seen for the protesters who throw things at the police and destroy property they face losing to Trump in November.   Main street America is not the arch liberal hubs of New York and LA.   It's hard to watch the once great network of CNN almost becoming a supporter of the protesters and not just reporting them.

The Deadlock Summit in June - Brexit Update 1 - Transitional Talks

Lets Get Real:

The PM should think about throwing in towel, as is stating that the talks are going nowhere and that the UK will do with a NO DEAL BREXIT or Australian rules. The UK would go on to World Trade rules, if it is good enough for the rest of the World is is good enough for the UK.  Then we will have a freehand to do DEALS with Commonwealth Countries and the rest of the World, we can offer VISAS to these Countries as they were part of the British Empire.  Once we are clear on that the EU will come running for a DEAL, then we can discuss when we want to.  It must come as a shock to the EU that a Country would leave the EU, and would refuse it move on its demands.  Thank goodness for the British voter, we will not be bullied, we voted in 2016 and 2019 to break it off with the EU, our time is coming soon. 

The Furlough Scheme ENDS in October - COVID - 19 Update 1 - Health/Economic

Lets Get Real:

The Treasury can not go on forever paying for the wages of the UK workforce, that is the job of employers, the Treasury has been very generous an will go on being generous in till October.   The PM has to get the workforce back to work, or the recession we will face will turn in to depression and fast and the voters will not be happy.  The Chancellor could do more to help pubs and hospitality firms, they will not be getting people to come in to their establishments in till the middle of June or the start of July. An American President once said, American business is business, well the same can be said of the UK, people might need to be pushed back to work, and less in fear of the virus, this blog has had some reservations about the furlough scheme for a while, it needs to get people off their backside and back to work.

Lets Get Real:

The Welsh like the rest of the UK economy is going down the drain, the UK Government and the regional Governments have to get the economy moving, they managed that during the Spanish Flu of 1918.  There is a risk of more lives being lost, but if there is no push to the economy millions will be out of work, and how much stress will that cause for people and the NHS.  The Government will have to take the risk, its people vs the economy, as it was always going to be about if there was no COVID - 19 vaccine.  The UK economy can not be placed in suspension and there being no reaction, for every action there is a reaction.  Time for the UK to wake up!!
