France vs. Daesh - Paris Terror Attack Update

Lets Get Real:

The EU/NATO should unite to destroy Daesh, the terror group is a threat to the domestic and international security of Europe.   On the domestic side EU is getting hundred of thousands of refugees, and is reported at least two of the Paris terrorists came through this route.    The lack of military action to take out Daesh weakens the security standing of the EU and NATO.   What if Russia seeing the weakness of action by the West tries to take back the Baltic States. the lack of action could lead to dire consequences for the EU/NATO.   Thus time for action by the West. 

Paris Death toll increase - Paris bombings

Lets Get Real:

It can be argued that France should call a NATO meeting and invoke the article that means that there has been an ACT of War on France and that the allies should come to the help of an ally.  This would mean ground troops for Syria, of course the liberal left in Europe and the US will go bonkers. and the White House would hit the roof,  but it might be the pressure needed to get Obama to see the real world. One has to postulate that the security services of the UK, USA and others will be on high alert in case there are further attacks on Western Countries.   This is the time to ACT, otherwise there will be more murders committed by IS/Daesh. 

Manhunt in Paris for Get Away Terrorist

The terrorist attack in Paris shows how much a threat to Europe that Daesh is, it has thus far hit Russia with the downing of the Russian plane in Egypt, hit Lebanon and now Paris, one can only assume that the UK and the US are also targets, lets hope MI5 and the FBI are on the case, at least its harder to get guns in the UK, well one hopes.  Our thoughts should be with the families of the 129 killed and concern for those that were injured.    The terrorist has to be lucky once, the Police and government authorities have to lucky all the time.    This is going to be a long WAR on TERROR. 

Doctor Who Review - Sleep No More

Lets Get Real:

This is episode was interesting, it used the format of a lost footage kind of story.   The action started before the Doctor and Clara arrived, it had that Alien feel to it, then we seen the monster and how its created, that is a spoiler, what was interesting was seeing how the guest stars even in a tense episode were allowed to breath and create characters that you cared for.   The problem with giving a review of this kind of story is that you if you say to much you give the show away, it was interesting idea, did it work, at this point this blog is still thinking and will have to see the story again.  A for effort, as to clarity that is a B, drunk or sober it was sometimes hard to follow.  Thus will have to review again in the future. 

Jeremy Corbyn on Jihadi John- Syrian Crisis

This is the leader chosen by Labour voters, a man that can not be trusted to defend the Realm, has stated he would never use our nuclear weapons if the day ever came. One can see terrorists having a free reign if Corbyn was ever in power in 10 Downing Street, his remarks show that he is not fit to be a leader of a UK political Party, it is about time that the Labour MPs grew a back bone and something other things and threw Corbyn out, there is more of them than his supporters.    Or if that fails they should form an their own Party, become the Official Opposition, but that takes a back bone and Labour has not shown that with Gordon Brown, Ed Miliband and now Corbyn. 

Jihadi John Update - Syrian Crisis

BBC News: Reports " The Pentagon says it is "reasonably certain" that a US drone strike in Syria has killed the Islamic State militant known as "Jihadi John". "

Lets Get Real:

The UK with or without the consent of the House of Commons should have drones in the air of Syria and Iraq 24/7, the drones should be looking for targets of interest, thus make Daesh afraid to move day or night.   One can assume that the SAS and US Special Forces are in Iraq and Syria, thus the drones are hitting the right targets.   There will be those on the left that wanted to give terrorists their rights, the terrorists do not have rights, the only rights they have is to be bombed or hit by drones strikes and by US/UK forces on the ground.   The left do understand the World after 9/11, thus they can never be allowed to come to power, they offer no defence, and at the end of the day the main job of the Government is to protect the State. 

The Death of Jihadi John - David Cameron

10 Downing Street: Reports on a statement by PM David Cameron, " Good morning. Last night, the United States carried out an air strike in Raqqa, Syria, targeting Mohammed Emwazi – the ISIL executioner known as Jihadi John.

We cannot yet be certain if the strike was successful.

But let me be clear. I have always said that we would do whatever was necessary, whatever it took, to track down Emwazi and stop him taking the lives of others.

We have been working, with the United States, literally around the clock to track him down. This was a combined effort. And the contribution of both our countries was essential.

Emwazi is a barbaric murderer. He was shown in those sickening videos of the beheadings of British aid workers. He posed an ongoing and serious threat to innocent civilians not only in Syria, but around the world, and in the United Kingdom too.

He was ISIL’s lead executioner, and let us never forget that he killed many, many, Muslims too. And he was intent on murdering many more people.

So this was an act of self-defence. It was the right thing to do.

Today I want to thank the United States: the United Kingdom has no better friend or ally.

And I want to pay tribute to all those professionals in our own security and intelligence agencies and armed forces for the extraordinary work they do on behalf of our country. On this, as so often, they’ve been working hand in glove with their American colleagues. We are proud of them.

If this strike was successful, and we still await confirmation of that, it will be a strike at the heart of ISIL. And it will demonstrate to those who would do Britain, our people and our allies harm: we have a long reach, we have unwavering determination and we never forget about our citizens.

The threat ISIL pose continues. Britain and her allies will not rest until we have defeated this evil terrorist death cult, and the poisonous ideology on which it feeds.

Today though, my thoughts, and the thoughts of our country, are with the families of those who were so brutally murdered.

Japanese citizens Kenji Goto and Haruna Yukawa, American journalists Steven Sotloff and James Foley and aid worker Abdul-Rahman Kassig.

And of course our own citizens. Aid workers David Haines and Alan Henning. Nothing will bring back David and Alan. Their courage and selflessness stand in stark contrast to the empty callousness of their murderers.

Their families and their friends should be proud of them, as we are. They were the best of British and they will be remembered long after the murderers of ISIL are forgotten.  "

Lets Get Real:

Thanks goodness that Mohammed Emwazi – the ISIL executioner known as Jihadi John is dead, he showed the evil side of humanity, the drone strike is what he deserved.   The West, in this case the UK and the US has to carry on its bombing and drone strikes of IS in Iraq and Syria, IS have to be removed from the face fo the earth, long after IS is gone those that were killed by the group will be remembered.  IT IS A GOOD DAY.
