The Russian BEAR is on the MOVE - Ukraine Crisis

Lets Get Real:

This is Munich 1938 all over again, the West dithers while the threat grows, sanctions are not working on the Russian bear, the Russian bear needs his claws chopped off or those claws will start to make paw prints in Finland, Baltic States, and Poland, then the balloon will go up, the Obama Oval will have no were to hide.  It is better to be tough now than when it to late.   The Ukraine could be eaten up piece by piece by Russia, then Europe could face its gravest crisis since the Cuban missile Crisis of 1962, and this time no secret deal would prevent a war.   Time for the Oval Office to grown a spine and fight the Russian bear.

The CRISIS in the Ukraien is the one crisis that keeps this blog awake at night, it  only needs a drunk Russian officer to start a whole War in the Ukraine.   The Putin Kremlin wants to take over the entire Ukraine, they see the Ukraine as their backyard and Russian.    The West has to be firm with Moscow about the Ukraine, the NATO members do not want Putin breathing down the neck of the Baltic States or Poland.   IF that happens the World would be on a hair trigger to a European War.   Putin's Russia is out of control, it is following the Hitler plan for war, take a bit first then go for the whole lot.   One would have thought that Russia after World War 2 would follow in the footsteps of Hitler.

If your going to be the next Labour Leader you should read this article, Labour had its worse election defeat since 1983, Ed Miliband managed to get a result much worse than when Gordon Brown was Labour leader in 2010.  The Labour Party if it wants to get elected in 2020 has to move to the Blair agenda, of helping people who want to better themselves.   Labour has to crack the South or it will be out of power for decade's

Lets Get Real:

The Greek crisis is like watching a very slow boring car crash, one knows how it is going to end but the players are taking their time to get to the end point.  Greece can no longer be part of the Euro, its economy is in a mess, the Greek government needs to take the country out of the Euro and develop its own money that Athens controls.   The endless bailouts to Greece will sooner or later be rejected by those giving the money, Greece is a money pit with no end in sight, time for Greece to wake up and grow up. 

Syrian Rebels and US NOT WORKING TOGETHER !- New War on Terror

Lets Get Real:

This shows the weakness of the Obama Administration, the Oval Office wants to offer resistance but does not want to go all in as they say in Texas hold up, thus the lack of action to strike IS when it has the chance.   The Oval Office has to get one fact, the problem will not go away, IS is and will remain a problem that will outlast the Obama Presidency, the only question that President Obama has to ask himself  is  HOW much of a problem IS will be to the next President and how will history look at him if he allows Iraq and Syria to fall in to then hands of IS.  History is not forgiving of failure by US Presidents.

Lets Get Real:

This story was on Fox News last night, it seems that the fleeing Iraqi forces left behind two thousand three hundred US military cars known as humvees, they were designed so they would ber hard to destroy.    Thus another own goal by the Baghdad government, the Iraqi Government calls for more weapons, but then their own forces leave it behind when they do a ruuner, that does not build trust in the Baghdad government or it forces.   The US should be firm, no more military help in till better army and one that will fight.   One can almost understand the Obama's Oval refusal to become more part of the War. 

The World and IS - New War on Terror

BBC News:  Reports " The advance of Islamic State militants (IS) in Iraq is a "failure" of the world, Iraq's prime minister has said.  "

Lets Get Real:

The article notes that Iraq wants to buy weapons from Russia and Iran but sanctions on these countries makes that impossible, the West should be firm, no lifting of sanctions on Russia while it is still in the East Ukraine and no deals with Iran in till there is a finished agreement on the nuclear plans of Iran.   The politics of the MIddle East is murky at the best of time, if you West allows Russia or Iran to play then Tehran will use this development in other areas of disagreement with the West.   There needs to be Western ground troops in Iraq, that is the only thing that will STOP IS.   All the talk in the World will not solve Iraq and Syria, it takes troops and weapons and a will to follow through with the destruction of IS.
