AG Holder on the back foot with the PRESS

BBC News: Reports that Attorney General Holder has made concessions to the press on how the DOJ will go after leaks.

Lets Get  Real: 

Folks this is stalling, the AG does not want to get thrown under the bus by POTUS for causing waves around the Oval, the AG will promise what ever he thinks the press want to hear, then do NOTHING, this is a Chicago run Administration, when their hand is caught on the cook jar they promise it will not happen again, and once the heat is off they will be back to their usual tricks.  It is time for the Oval to sack the AG, move on the from the Fox/AP scandal, as long as Holder is at Justice the press will be giving the DOJ and the Oval a hard time, the first year of the second term is the time to get things passed, if the Oval has to take heat for Holder and his poor staff the can not get his Agenda through, time for the Chicago way to come to the White House and the Oval, time for Holder to GO!.

The WEAKNESS of the Oval and Syria - Syrian Update 2

Guardian Live - Syria: Reports in its 5.10pm post the following, " There “is no new military planning effort underway with regard to Syria,” Pentagon press secretary George Little said in a statement...".

Lets Get Real:

This is why folks the Assad Regime thinks it can get away with mass murder, the death toll in Syria is now between eighty and a hundred thousand, there are reports of mass murders by the Assad Regime and the use of chemical weapons, and the Oval does NOTHING, at least the UK and France are ready to arm the rebels, the Syrian Civil War is causing havoc in the region, Jordan, Lebanon, Iraq are under threat and could start or return to Civil War.   In fact it can be argued that Iraq is in a low scale civil war at the present, the internal stability of Jordan under threat due to the number of Syrian refugees, and Lebanon after coming out of Civil War is starting to return, thus folks the lack of US leadership is getting people killed, what this blog would not give for another JFK or Reagan in the Oval at this moment.   The Oval is leading from behind, yes its called under the desk. 

Holder and DOJ in the Frame - 2nd Term Blues

CNN - Politics: Reports that supposed sending of a  notification to Fox News that one of its reports was under investigation is still open to debate, Fox says it never got a notification, while the DOJ states that one was sent, the article notes the following, " Questions over whether or not the government notified the parent company of Fox News ...continued to swirl Wednesday.. ".

Lets Get Real:

The reporters at CNN must feel left out, the Oval must think they are in the tank for the Obama White House, so far we have Fox News, AP and even the liberal New York Times under investigation for getting stories through leaks.     The Obama Oval has been after Fox since the start, it tried to force Fox out of the news pool for events, one has to wonder how far the hate went down the political pool, even liberals are staring to question the future of AG Holder, it looks like he MIGHT have lied to the US Congress when it comes to investigating reporters, when the Oval finds that its staff are a problem, they have to be fired, thus the Oval should have a clean out, as stated in recent tweet, the Oval should clear the decks, sack his Chief of Staff and his Chief Lawyer for not telling the Oval about the IRS scandal, Holder for getting the press VERY angry, they all know they could be next if they do not stand up to the Holder DOJ.  Time to cut bait folks, move on, that is the best advice the Oval is going to get this year. 

Obama's No Fly Zone for Syria - Syrian Update

The Daily Beast: Has an exclusive, the Obama White House has asked the US Defence Department to draw plans for a No Fly Zone in Syria. 

Lets Get Real:

The ending of the EU arms embargo against the Syrian rebels has forced the Obama Oval, the conference on  Syria is not going to solve the problem, the Syrian rebels want ASSAD OUT, the Russians need either President Assad or his regime to remain in power, they want to keep their warm water port, the Tehran Regime needs Assad power as to keep its influence in the region and support its terrorist allies.   One can see another Libya folks, the UK and France taking the lead, while Obama hides under his desk, that will not work this time folks, any no fly zone would require massive US presence in the air and on the ground, the Oval can not hide from Syria, also if the Russians place their S - 300 anti aircraft missiles in Syria they will be a threat to Israel and to the West, thus the embers of the Cold War are back folks.   Does the Oval really have the backbone to act, not just drones folks, air and ground presence, this blog has its doubts, the Oval is weak, and the people of Syria pay the price.  

Israel vs. Russia - Syrian Update 2

Guardian: Reports the following from the Syrian Civil War, " Israel's defence minister signals that its military is prepared to strike shipments of advanced Russian weapons to Syria.. ".

Lets Get Real:

One can see a proxy war developing between former Cold War foes, on one side you would have Israel supported by the US, while Syria would have the support of Russia, Iran, it would be a an covert WAR, this is not the Cold War after all, no worry about nukes on this front, but it would show how powerful Putin's Russia is and how far Russia is willing to go in the defence of the Assad Regime and its warm water port.   It only needs for Israel to strike Syria again and for Syria to hit Israel back, there are reports that the President Assad has given the green light to his commanders to hit Israel should Israel have further Air Force attacks on Syria.    The Israeli Government has made it clear that it sees the deployment of the S - 300 as a threat to Israeli  security, thus it would have to strike, either as the missiles are on the way or when they arrive in Syria.   The external political Syrian War is hotting up folks, lets recall there are 2014 Mid Terms in the US, the Democrats will not want Obama to look weak when it comes to Russia, thus the Israeli lobby will be keeping a close eye on the Oval. 

Israel WARNING to Russia - Syrian Update

BBC News: Reports that the Israeli Government has warned Russia about the placing of S- 300 anti aircraft missiles in Syria. 

Lets Get Real: 

If the Syrians get hold of these missiles the Israeli Air Forces Planes would come under threat should they need to strike Syria, the Syrian Civil War is a proxy War on many fronts, it is a proxy War within Islam, between different sects, there is the War between Iran/Syria and the West, there is the on going covert war between the US and Iran and then you have the embers of the Cold War, Russia versus the US.   That folks is just the top four, then in the ranks of the Syrian rebels you have a franchise of Al Qaeda that is growing in influence every day.   The Russians need the Assad Regime to stay in power, they need their warm water port, the old USSR in the Cold War period supported Syria against Israel and the West.   At the moment the Assad Regime has the upper hand, it has regained ground, the multi Syria rebels are split along numerous lines, they also do not have one command as the West would see it, and it shows, the rebels have been pushed back over the last few weeks, the Assad has had help from his terrorist ally Hezbollah in Lebanon, the Civil War has started to cause internal problems in Jordan, Iraq and Turkey.   Of all the Obama problems this could be the one that defines him in the long term, the people of the Arab Street smell weakness, and Obama is weak.  More deaths to follow in Syria folks, that what happens when the Oval abdicates.
