The US blockade of the Strait of Hormuz is winning, Iran has its hand on the throat of the Strait, thus winning on Tactical level, but it cannot get its oil out, thus no money for the Regime, thus a strategic win for the US. Trump might not be completely lose cannon when it comes to foreign policy.
