The US is still talking to the Russians, WHY?, this is like the 1930s when the Allies talked to Nazi Germany as the tanks rolled in to Czech Republic. The Russians under Putin see a chance to gain influence in the Middle East, the US has a weak President in Obama, there is an election going on in which Donald Trump is seen as friendly to the Russians, of course the Russians are not going to listen.
