Lets Get Real:

This is perhaps the worse speech given by a US President in the 21st Century, the American voters did not know that Joe Biden was going to appease the Taliban, that he would cut and run when given the chance, he stated that OBL was killed, what he did not say was that he was against the mission to get the Al Qaeda leader, it shows how a lack of insight there is in Joe Biden, he was repeating past statements, Biden showed why Robert Gates, the Defence Secretary for Bush 43 and Obama,  was right when he stated that he had not been right about foreign policy in 40 years.  South Korea, Baltic States, Poland and IRAQ you must ask is the US security guarantee worth the paper it is written on if signed by Joe Biden.  It odd to see a American President become Neville Chamberlain the appeasing PM of the 1930s.  The US voter does not like to see the US humiliated when it was not needed.  It should be recalled that President Ford lost to Jimmy Carter in 1976 in a very close election, a year after the Saigon evacuation.   Of course Americans were tired of the Afghan War and the cost, what they do not like or support is a President with no backbone or insight in to own weakness when it comes to foreign policy. 

Biden to Speak to the US at 8.45pm - Biden Era

Lets Get Real:

Thus what will POTUS say in 40 minutes from NOW, will he say SORRY that he made a mistake, of course not, he cant, this is this is the biggest fiasco since Saigon 1975. It should be noted that after the US left South Vietnam in 1973 the Regime lasted in till 1975 and was only overthrown because the Democratic Congress prevented President Ford from taking action.  Once Trump and Biden gave the signal that the US was on the way out the Taliban just had to wait, the Afghan Army needed the support of the US, it was only a small presence but it was enough, the Biden rash decision to remove troops lead to the pictures from the Kabul of people running to get hell out of Kabul.  Even the liberal CNN has managed to be critical, its only the partisan Democrats that are giving cover to Biden.  The Biden Oval must hope that the US voters have short memories and nothing else happens, if there is a terrorist attack and it is linked to the Afghanistan then the Biden Presidency will be over, he will be seen more than just going gaga, he will be seen as dangerous as former President, Donald Trump.

UK to send more troops to Kabul Airport - Biden Era

BBC News - Live Blog: Reports in its 7.03pm post the following, " The UK is to send 200 more troops to help in the evacuation of Kabul airport, the Ministry of Defence (MOD) has confirmed...It says there will soon be 900 British military personnel on the ground. "

Lets Get Real:

At last reports there were no flights going or getting in to the Kabul Airport because the Afghans had run on to the runways.   Thus the Americans will have seven thousand troops at the Airport, will they go and get UK/US Citizens who are stuck in Kabul, what about those that have worked for the Allies, are we just going to leave them to their fate.   The Allies must do whatever is needed to save our Afghan Staff, otherwise this crisis will be worse than Suez in 1956 and Saigon in 1975.   The US/UK should move from the Airport and dare the Taliban to take action, move in to KABUL and help our citizens and Afghan staff to leave, the Allies wont do that because Biden is a empty suit and PM Boris does not have the steel balls to act.  Poor Afghanistan.

I was the fourth President to preside over an American troop presence in Afghanistan—two Republicans, two Democrats. I would not, and will not, pass this war onto a fifth.  "

Lets Get Real:

This is pathetic from a man who considers himself an expert on foreign policy, he is NOW blaming Trump for this mess in Afghanistan.  It is no wonder that Biden has not shown his face, is he in the Witness Protection Programme.  Thank goodness the UK has the Queen as a head of State, and she is in her 90's and still turns up for work.  Those Baltic States, Poland, and  other members of NATO will be asking, can they trust the US now, will Biden support them if Putin makes a move in the Baltics or even Poland.  Those in Iraq must be thinking, if Daesh come back, will Biden run away again, as the Obama Administration did.  This is the worst foreign policy mess since Vietnam in 1975 and it is Biden's FAULT.

How DUMB to you have to be to be a British PM, of course Al Qaeda will back, the Taliban have just released five thousand prisoners from the Jail at the the former US/Allied base.  One does not have to be Henry Kissinger to see that the terror elements will be back in Afghanistan faster than you can say Taliban.  Al Qaeda and the Taliban are the same thing, what in the earth is the PM going on about.  The PM should have stood alone, Churchill and Lady Thatcher would have, and they are considered great, they never ran from a fight.  The Conservative Party really needs a new LEADER, some with the backbone to defend UK interests.   This has been a shameful day if your American or British.

Lets Get the Real:

The Taliban NOW control Kabul and Afghanistan, God help the poor people of Afghanistan, if you have worked for the ALLIES in any way you have a target on your back, if your a girl or woman your rights have just gone, women will not allowed to work, girls will have no education, Western culture will be destroyed, the Taliban Regime will bring in strict religions law, women will be stoned, people will be executed.  If POTUS has no regrets he is not fit to be President, he is sacrificing a WHOLE country his own belief in his own judgement.  As history has shown, Joe Biden should never be allowed near foreign policy, Reagan Republicans who are strong on national security should shove Afghanistan down the throat of Joe Biden, when you allow people to suffer and you do not help, does not make you much of a Christian, not much a Roman Catholic.  This has been a shameful day for the US and the UK, this blog has been less critical of PM Boris than most, that will change, he is not fit to be our PM.

Lets Get Real:

One assumes the military strategy is justified in sending OUR troops back, one can not see why the Embassy staff can not leave on civilian flights or special aircraft sent to get them, the Embassy has been clear to those UK citizens  remaining in Afghanistan that it was time to leave.  Of course the UK has a moral responsibility to those that have worked for the UK over 20 years to get them out, the hard part will come when the flights are leaving and refugees start turning up at the Airport, Saigon 1975 all over again!! Also the Taliban will want to be seen as pushing the Allies out, thus one can expect some action on that front, it would be foolish mistake by the Taliban, the US and the UK have the power to stop them in their tracks.   But then the Taliban have shown they do not care about human life, thus attacks can be expected.  The UK should have gone it alone, and remained in Kabul and Afghanistan, but then we  always needs the Americans, and they, well POTUS wanted out, thus the disaster that is Afghanistan.
