Did Russia JUST BLINK ? - Part 2 - Biden Era

Lets Get Real:

Putin gained but also showed that he is really weak, did the FEAR of Biden really make Putin take his toys away from the Ukraine border, the Kremlin must KNOW that Biden is a empty suite who does not get that we are in the 21st Century, in his most lucid moments he must still call Russia the USSR.  If Biden really wanted to show he was strong he would have placed NATO troops in the West of Ukraine and draw a red line, here and no more should Putin ever invade.   I guess one day we will KNOW the truth, has Putin just showed how weak his regime is really, he wants to talk to a President who has called him a KILLER, no US President called his USSR opposite that, yes EVIL Empire but never direct killers.   The Ukraine should still be on ALERT for the Russian Bear.

Lets Get Real:

Did the Russian Bear just blinked, did Putin think to invade the East of Ukraine, even the whole of the Ukraine, did the fear of Western reaction put him off, or could this just be faint, miss direct the West while Russia absorbs East Ukraine in to Greater Russia.  Time will tell.   The only think we are sure is that the military show of power was not just a typical Russia defence plan, did wiser heads in the Kremlin FEAR what Biden would do, after Afghanistan I am not sure why!  Putin is not finished, this is the newest War by Putin to reform the OLD USSR in to a Great Russia. 

Mondale vs. Reagan in 1984 - Part 2

Lets Get Real:

The one high point for Walter Mondale during the 1984 race was the first debate, to be fair it can be said that Reagan had a BAD FIRST DEBATE, this trend has been followed by future Presidents, after four years in the bubble and age the President was not at his best, this lead to reporters to ask about the age question, it was mentioned less for Biden who won in 2020.   In the 2nd debate Reagan took the issue head on and stated that he would not make his opponents youth and lack of experience a issue, it did the trick, everyone laughed, even Mondale, he knew he has just LOST.   It will be interesting to see how CNN plays the funeral and the Carter record.

It was sad to hear that the former Vice - President had died, although his family will be grieving, it is important to look at the Carter - Mondale record while in OFFICE, on the domestic front there was high inflation, low employment, and on the international front, Russia invaded Afghanistan and the ruler of a secular Iran was overthrown by the Regime still in power, the number one supporter of terrorism in the World.   The Carter victory in 1976 was a reaction to Watergate, Vietnam and the failed polices of the Ford Administration.  At one debate President Ford seem not to get the fact that Easter Europe was under the influence of Russia.  The victory in November 76 was the high point, after that it went down hill.   In 1980 Reagan was a massive victory, 44 States and turned the US around on the domestic and international front.  In 1984 Mondale won the Democratic nomination and was defeated by Reagan by 49 States, 59% of the vote and 525 electoral votes.  Later Mondale tried to run for his old Senate Seat, he was defeated.   Thus the view that over all Mondale had lost ALL 50 States at one time or another.

Putin is not afraid of Biden, he sees Biden for what he is, a empty suit who thinks he right, case example, Afghanistan, nearly everyone with a BRAIN thinks he is WRONG, and when Kabul falls to the Taliban and the executions start it will all be down to Biden out of control ego.  If Biden had been in charge when OBL was found he would be still alive and a threat to the United States, history has a karma, ego gets punished, one way or another.   In simple terms Biden is another Jimmy Carter Mark 2, and FDR who was his hero, allowed the USSR to seize half of Easter Europe after World War 2.  Thus in two terms, the US has had TWO BAD Presidents, Trump was MAD, while Biden has never been right on foreign policy, and will let down to the US.  Alexei Navalny want back to Russia, he knew that he would be arrested,  is he trying to make himself a martyr and thus undermine Putin, lets recall that Tsar Nicholas 11 was undermined by the shootings outside the Royal Residence in St Petersburg at the start of the 20th Century.

Now that POTUS has released his wet paper sanctions and followed Russian demands not to send US ships in to the Black Sea the Kremlin has a free card to use, that being the invasion of East Ukraine.  One doubts that Putin will try to take over the whole of the Ukraine, that could be a big ask and draw in other powers, Biden would find himself in bind, his removal of US troops from Afghanistan shows that he is WEAK and a APPEASER, this will have been picked up by the Kremlin.  They can see that Biden is a light weight when it comes to foreign policy.  The question is will Biden ALLOW NATO to support the Kiev Government, also how close does Biden really want the Russians to get to NATO, Poland will be feeling uneasy, they remember 1939, the West's promises did not go come through, the War for them in many respects did not come to and end in till the fall of the Berlin Wall in 1989.  Will Poland trust NATO and the Biden Administration if Putin tries his tricks on the Polish border.  The clock is ticking. 

After US troops have LEFT Afghanistan, What NEXT ? - Biden Era

Lets Get Real:

One gets the feeling that the Defence Department is covering its backside, just in case there is another 9/11, they can say that they followed the order of the President to leave Afghanistan and without actual spies on the ground the CIA or the NSA could not follow up leads.  Thus if Afghanistan goes down the toilet it will be the fault of President Biden.  There are even cross party concern about the move, let's face Biden is not going to run for a 2nd term, so could be out of office by the time Al Qaeda comes back, or Daesh makes it presence felt.   Let's recall what happened after Obama took troops out of IRAQ, they had to return as Daesh was close to Baghdad, and they are still there, even Trump did not remove them.   It is reported in the Daily Mail that the Biden Administration is not sending ships in to the Black Sea after a warning from Russia, so Putin gets to decide or frighten US diplomats on the placing of US Ships, another body blow to the US image abroad.  This has really be a good week for the enemies of the US.  The sad part was that they were helped by a inept US President.
