President Biden on the Trump Trial - Biden Era

The one thing about having a stable President in the shape of President Biden, is that he does not change his mind every five minutes, thus the White House webpage is up to date!

The Senate vote followed the bipartisan vote to impeach him by the House of Representatives. While the final vote did not lead to a conviction, the substance of the charge is not in dispute. Even those opposed to the conviction, like Senate Minority Leader McConnell, believe Donald Trump was guilty of a “disgraceful dereliction of duty” and “practically and morally responsible for provoking” the violence unleashed on the Capitol.....And I’m thinking of those who demonstrated the courage to protect the integrity of our democracy – Democrats and Republicans, election officials and judges, elected representatives and poll workers – before and after the election.....This sad chapter in our history has reminded us that democracy is fragile. That it must always be defended. That we must be ever vigilant. That violence and extremism has no place in America. And that each of us has a duty and responsibility as Americans, and especially as leaders, to defend the truth and to defeat the lies.  "

Lets Get Real:

The question is the Biden statement two faced, will the Biden Oval also condemn any violence by the left, in the shape of Black Lives Matter protest or other progressive groups who take to the streets.   Will the Democrats be careful with their WORDS, will they also stop using fighting in any statement about the political division between Republicans and Democrats.  If Biden is lucky then Trump will lead the Opposition, good for the Mid terms, the bad news for Biden is that Trump will be coming after him and the Democrats in 2022 and 2024, is there any chance that Trump will learn from his political mistakes, or does his ego not allow for that point of view.  If Trump is caught up in legal problems, he could be the King behind the throne who helps the Republicans chose their nominee, there is the Trump base and those that voted for Trump in 2020, can Biden be sure that the liberal groups who supported him in 2020, will come out again, Democrats on the left will demand that Biden be more left wing, that could mean that Biden loses the middle, The Trump Trial is just the start, politics is never ending, that is the fun of democratic politics and the way the US system works in the US, the Mid terms are next year and then we have the candidates getting ready for 2024, will Biden run again, he is will be VERY OLD, and lets be honest, most people think he has gone gaga or is going that way, have you noticed the VP is always in the room with him, is she thinking, I must support him, or when will  retire and allow me take over, politics is brutal, that is the way the founding fathers wanted it, they wanted to avoid a King in the Oval or over the Sea.

This blog got one thing right and one thing wrong about the Trial of former President Trump, it got the verdict right, there was never going to be 17 Republican Senators going to convict the Trumpster, the ones that did are on the way out anyway, have just started their term, and hope in the years pass it will not matter, and those like Mitt Romney, a constant critic.  Romney must understand that after his defeat in 2012 to President Obama, he will not get the nomination again, and this vote against Trump will lead to a major no from the Trump base.  The idea stated by the Minority Leader that Trump could face civil or federal trial, is interesting, CNN and the liberal press would love it, the public might see it as a major Witch Hunt, and President Biden will not his his predecessor placed in jail, once you start that, God knows how it might developed. A Republican Prosecutor might go after the son of the President, Hunter Biden, once you start that kind of process everyone gets hurt.    The blog was wrong, it thought that the Trump would turn up to take names of those that would vote against him, it can be speculated that the Republican leadership warned him that it could cost him votes.  Thus the future, it can be postulated that Trump will try to get the Republican nomination in 2024, he has a secure base to try, if someone is to challenge Trump, then they need the charisma and the money, thus blog is less impressed with those considering running. Four years is a long time in politics, either in the UK and the US.  Time will tell.

The problems of Northern Ireland transport shows that the UK needs to invoke Article 16,this would return the Northern Ireland back to its position before the end of the transition period, the UK is one Country, made up England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland, there should be no custom problems in any of the regions of the UK.   The EU is playing silly buggers, and the people suffer.   There has been problems with the movement of goods and animals, and it is all down to the EU, sticking to the rule books, without concern about actual events on the ground.  The EU and Ireland might not want to remove the Northern Ireland protocol but its not their decision, Boris Johnson is the Prime Minister of the UK, at the end of the day its the interests of the UK that matter most. ARTICLE 16 MUST BE INVOKED.

The World owes a thanks to Shultz he was the great Secretary of State, in his diaries Reagan was full of admiration for his 2nd Secretary of State.   In this blog's opinion a dream American Administration, would have Reagan as President, who else, VP of course being Bush 41, while James Baker would be Chief of Staff.  The left was not always so full of administration for the Reagan Administration,  does any one recall the nuclear freeze that the LEFT wanted for the West while allowing the USSR to build up its nuclear defences.   This blog recalls George Shultz attending a Congressional Committee and being asked if he was aware that the Reagan Administration has not had a Summit meeting with the SOVIET UNION, so be it Schultz stated.   The Reagan administration being tough with the USSR, lead to the INF Treaty, the first Treaty to reduce nuclear weapons and then of course we have the downfall of the USSR.   The Reagan Administration deserves credit for this development and by accident Gorbachev.

This blog has assumed that President Biden would be an appeaser, this statement that the Biden Administration will not seek to lift sanctions placed on IRAN by Trump, does not change its argument, people do no change, Biden opposed Obama's Afghanistan policy, and used any negative story to undermine the policy.  Also President Reagan had a dim view of Biden, that he was a demagogue who got the big issues WRONG.  The article states that the US will not have talks with Iran in less it returns to the Obama Agreement, while Tehran has stated that it will not return to talks in less the USA removes all sanctions.  One does not have to be brilliant to see the outcome, back channel talks with Iran, the US not pressing to hard on sanctions and then Tehran using that reason to go back for talks.  At the end Iran will get the bomb, as they will hide any new developments, and Biden will find at the end of his first term that Iran has got the bomb, and Biden will have a massive political problem, and Israel with its allies in the region will have to take action. It as if night follows day, and political experts to miss quote LBJ, will be ramming Iran right up's Biden backside or that of his VP if Biden goes gaga. 

Biden on Russia and China - Biden's Foreign Policy - Biden Era

This is tough talk from Biden, a man that has never been right when it comes to foreign policy, as Robert Gates, the former Defence Secretary, that Biden has not been right in 40 years when it came to the subject.  President Reagan did not have a high opinion of Biden, in the Cold War days he was seen a a major DOVE and during his time as VP to President Obama, he used all his time to undermine the Obama policy, any negative stories were feed to OBAMA through Biden.  Putin will eat Biden for dinner, and China will just outwait him, one doubts that Biden will run for a 2nd term, he's far to OLD, and the job President does take it out of you, President Obama's great black hair had gone white after eight years in the job, on the other hand President Reagan looked great, so did Bill Clinton to be fair.  In the speech Biden also removed US support for Saudi Arabian action in Yemen, that might come back to haunt Biden, the Saudi's are blocking Iran in Yemen, is of strategic importance to itself and the West.

This will not go down well with the Trump in Florida, he will feel that he is being treated differently to other former Presidents.  That the WITCH hung is on going. Let's recall the reason that Trump ran in 2016 was that the felt he had been snubbed and made fun of President Obama at a press dinner.  Thus it is expected that Trump will be found not guilty in his Trial before the Senate, one doubts that there are 17 Republican Senators are ready to face the wrath of the Trump base of the Republican Party.  IT can be argued that Biden has made a mistake, he should have avoided the question, this latest snub by Biden will and could cause Trump to start to visit IOWA and NEW HAMPSHIRE, do not annoy a BEAR with an EGO, who likes to be stroked.
