US Troops in Mosul - War on Terror

Lets Get Real:

Thus the Obama Administration is leaving the dirty fighting for the Trump Administration to deal with, will President Trump keep the US presence in Iraq, cut it back or increase it to finish off Daesh once and fall all.   The Battle for Mosul will be dirty and hard, it will be house by house, it will take weeks, even months, and of course Daesh will hit the West back to make up for its losses in the Middle East.   The Obama Administration when it comes to foreign policy has been a failure, there are still troops in Afghanistan, the US has had to return to Iraq and place special forces in Syria.   The State of Libya has become a failed State, the terrorist using the refugee crisis as way to place its men in the West.  The East Ukraine War is still going on, and Russia is a constant threat.  Thank You President Obama!!!

ObamaCare Part 2 - Trump Era

The Hill: Reports " House Republicans are planning to get an ObamaCare repeal bill on President-elect Trump's desk by Feb. 20, while the administration moves forward with executive actions to start unwinding ObamaCare on day one. "

Lets Get Real:

The Republicans have to make sure that they do not let the Democrats off the hook, the policy of ObamaCare is owned by the Democrats, thus any repeal and replacement has to be done without any cost to the Republicans.   As stated the Democrats will stall, the Oval Office under Trump must make any stalling cost the Democrats.   The US voter has rejected ObamaCare, it will fail by itself, thus the Republicans must avoid taking any of the blame and make sure that Dems take ALL the blame for Obama's main domestic victory.

Obama, Trump and Guantánamo Bay - Trump Era

The New York Times: The LIBERAL NYT writes the following in its editorial, " As the Obama administration makes a final push to reduce the number of prisoners at Guantánamo Bay, President-elect Donald Trump is vowing to halt transfers, saying that those remaining are “extremely dangerous people and should not be allowed back onto the battlefield.” "

Lets Get Real:

The issue of Guantanamo Bay has become a matter of faith for Democrats, well for President Obama, he seems to think that if you close Gitmo then the terrorists will not strike you, that is of course rubbish, as recent examples have shown.    The new Trump Administration should start to refill Gitmo with terrorists, then the Armed Services to try them and send them to prison for a VERY long time.   That kind of view is an outrage in the view of the LIBERAL NYT.   They see 9/11 and afterwards as a legal matter, that terrorists should have rights, given due process, that is the kind of mindset that allowed for 9/11.   The new Administration has to be tough, waterboarding and other methods have to be used, the War on Terror is on going, and will last for decades.

The Trump Administration and ObamaCare - Trump Era

Lets Get Real:

The New Trump Administration has to get health reform right, it can not throw people who have ObamaCare on to the streets, it would not be fair or good politics, they should take their time to get the right reforms and try to get some Democrats support the move.  On the whole the Republicans can expect the Dems not to be easy to work with when it comes to ObamaCare, its the only thing that Obama has on the domestic side of his terms.    The 2018 mid terms will start to become an issue by mid 2017, the reforms need to be done by the end of 2017.

Trump Cast doubts on Russian Hack - Trump Era

BBC News: Reports " President-elect Donald Trump has backed Wikileaks founder Julian Assange in casting doubt on intelligence alleging Russian meddling in the US election. "

Lets Get Real:

IN Moscow President Putin must be laughing his backside off, he does not have deny the hack as a future President disagrees with the present President on the hack.   The reason that Trump does not want to take the US Intelligence view of the hacks is that  it gives the Democrats a weapon to use against him over the next four years.  When can this end, when Trump is in the Oval Office and is President, then he must open his eyes and accept the truth otherwise Putin will play him like a fiddle and Western security will be under threat.

The Republicans + The Russians + 2016 Election - Trump Era

The Hill: Reports " House Intelligence chairman Devin Nunes (R-Calif.) said he has seen no evidence that Russia was trying to help President-elect Donald Trump win the White House. "

Lets Get Real:

The Republicans are not going to accept the Democratic Party's view of 2016 election as it undermines the Trump victory, thus in till the intelligence agency come to Hill and in OPEN session go through ALL the information they have the Republicans can argue the above.   The Democrats want to place a question mark near the Trump Victory, it helps them justify their loss in 2016.   They still find it hard to accept that HRC was a bad candidate and the loss in 2016 was more down to the strategy of the Democratic Party than the Kremlin in Moscow.

Lets Get Real:

The allegation is not new that Nixon in 1968 subverted the Paris Peace talks by telling South Vietnam to keep its distance from the talks.   The new information is from the notes of future Nixon Chief of Staff Halderman.    As stated in this blog and many others it has been argued that Watergate, the break in of the DNC in Washington D.C in 1972 was an attempt to see what the Democrats had on Nixon when it came to the stalled Paris talks of 68.    The then President Lyndon Johnson was aware of what Nixon was up to, he had him bugged, no one was clean when it came to the 68 elections.   In those days, the Parties did not have to worry about the Russians, they played by their own rules, the one rule was not to get caught.
