Lets Get Real:

The question is WHAT DO ABOUT NORTH KOREA, endless talks have gone nowhere, the North Koreans agree talks, then break their word when they get the chance.   The question North Korea must ask will Trump take action, he has taken action in Syria, but that was not against a nuclear power Country.   THE Oval will not allow North Korea to get  a ICBM that can carry a small nuclear warhead, that would be a threat to US national security, but a War in Asia would bring in South Korea, their Capital is close enough to be bombed, Japan would be under threat, and the US would have to send hundred of thousands of troops in to the region, China could find itself with millions of refugees from the North.  This blog would suggest a back channel, what about sending former President Clinton to the region, he helped with a release of a US Citizen from North Korea a few years ago, and Bill Clinton likes to be in the diplomatic action, the US must try all options short of War, if that becomes needed then they can take action knowing that they have tried all paths.

Lets Get Real:

The US and Russia have leaders with big egos  and think skins, thus it is up to the diplomats to make sure that their leaders do not lead them in to WW3.   From the US perspective the message has been sent, the US will not allow Assad of Syria to use WMD, but will not take action if he uses conventional methods, on the Russian side their perspective is to keep Assad in power, thus they will place a face of anger, but will understand that it is the fault of Assad for using WMD and with hope and luck Moscow can control him in the future.  Thus no need to buy that 2nd hand nuclear bunker yet, the two Countries are just playing a press game.

The Russians are playing HARDBALL with the US, they are creating the impression that the US is creating a new Cold War, while in fact its Russian actions in the Eastern Europe, its illegal fight in Ukraine, then its support of Assad in Syria and recent reports that the Russia has sent nuclear bombers around Japan.   The Russian Bear still thinks it is dealing with President Obama, the new Trump Administration has to make clear that there is a new Sheriff in town, and he will not be pushed around, the Russians when it comes to the US are all bark and no bight, they will never take on the US in a direct manner, they would lose and Putin for all his ego does not want to cause World War 3.   Thus the US has to push Russia and hard, power politics is the only thing that Moscow understands.

The OLD Russian Bear is showing his teeth, the Kremlin is pushing the line to its people that the tensions between the US and Russia are as bad as they were doing the height of the Cold War.  The Russians are seeing how far they can push the new Trump Administration.  They have seen that Trump has a short fuse, that he can change policy on the dime, thus they are testing areas to see how the US reacts.   The Russians have to be careful in Asia, the tensions between the US and North Korea is growing, the Russians do not want to cause WW3 by accident.   The US Golden Eagle should be firm with the Russians, they can see more and can strike at will, this is not time for Putin to chance his luck.

The ULTRA Left will never defend what is right, the  US strike on Syria was a warning shot, in this day and age if a Country uses WMD there has to be reaction, if not then others will think they have a green light to use WMD on their own people.   The left never wants to fight for what is right, it recalls to this blogger the appeasers of the 1930s.  SOMETIMES a Country needs to use it armed forces, the US is the leader of the West and Trump is POTUS. The mainstream press will go back to being critical of Trump, the President has a way of putting his foot right in it, when he is doing well, let's hope Assad of Syria has learned his lesson and that lesson has also been learned by North Korea.

Lets Get Real:

The Russian Bear of the Cold War is not the same Bear of today, it is a Super Power only because if has nukes, in a conventional war with the US it would lose, let's hope it never gets that far.   One can postulate that President Trump will only hit Syria again if Assad uses WMD on his people, one suspects that Moscow will have given Assad a right ticking off for using WMD and getting caught.   Of course the genie is out of the bottle now, Trump could hit Syria again, he has gotten good press, also his US Supreme Court Nominee has been confirmed, he might think he has a luck hand, thus the sending of aircraft carrier to the Sea of Japan as a warning to North Korea.  It is a tricky World at the moment. 

US Military Build Up in Asia - Trump Era

Lets Get Real:

The North Korean Crisis is developing, with the sending of a navy strike group, it allows the Oval to strike North Korea should it carry on with its ICBM plan and the development of a miniature nuclear warhead for its ICBM.  One has a feeling that Trump will carry through with his threats, the North Koreans should be careful that they miss read President Trump, he attacked Syria, North Korea could be next.   If you are in South Korea is might be a good idea to buy a bunker, the Capitol is close to North Korea and could be bombed, China should place pressure on North Korea, if it does not back off the US could ACT, and the Regime would be finished.
