Those States that decide the Presidency - 2012 Race

Lets have a look at the most import swing States folks, lets look at Florida and Ohio and the polls. 

The best political website there is RCP does the average of the Polls for these States, today the find the following:

In Ohio the average of the Polls are, Obama 48.4% and Romney 44.3%.  A Obama lead of 4.1%. 

In Florida the average of the Polls are, Obama 48% and Romney 46.3%.  A Obama lead of 1.7%.

Lets Get Real: 

That President Obama is still in the race shows why he will WIN, think about this folks, over 8% unemployment, 16 trillion debt, ObamaCare, the assassination of a US Ambassador in Libya.  Any other Candidate would be toast, if the Republicans had a decent Candidate then Obama would be packing now to go home to Chicago.   Thus folks, this blog has called this election, the news media have to write about something, thus expect as we get  closer to the election they will try to get interest of the voters, by stating its a close election, that Romney could win, BS, just to get punters in to watch the 24/7 news channels, to read the print press and to get clicks on web sites.   This blog has to much respect for its lookers to play that game.  This blog will start to look at how a 2nd Obama term will play out. 

Obama vs. Romney - The Friday Polls

Thus as we head in to the weekend folks, lets have a look at the POLLS.

Rasmussen Reports ( LV ):  In it's daily tracking poll today we see President Obama leading Governor Romney by 46% to 45%.  A 1% lead.

Gallup ( RV ): Reports on its daily poll, today we see a dead head, both President Obama and Governor Romney are on 47%.

Lets Get Real: 

If your a Republican you would think the above is great after the disaster of the last few weeks for Romney, but if you look at the State Polls you would still say that President Obama has the Oval for a 2nd term.  At the end of the day its down to the electoral college, a Candidate needs 270 electoral votes to win the Presidency, it would be ironic after 2000, if the shoe was on the other foot, POTUS  wins the Electoral College but Romney wins the popular vote.   It could happen folks. 

Death in Afghanistan

MOD:  Reports that a UK Soldier has died in Afghanistan in a non combat incident, the Soldier was from the " 104 Force Support Battalion, attached to 4 Close Support Battalion, Royal Electrical and Mechanical Engineers  ".   Thus since 2001 the UK has lost 431 of its Armed Forces Personnel in Afghanistan, of that total it has lost 390 in combat/hostile action, while 41 have died due to illness, accidents or other incidents. 

Obama vs. Romney - The Polls

Lets look at the Mid Week Polls folks:

Rasmussen Reports ( LV ): In its daily tracking poll we see Governor Romney leading President Obama by 47% to 46%. A 1% lead.

Lets Get Real:

This race is over folks, one can expect the polls to go South for Romney after his comments that he had written off 47% voters due to the fact they take welfare from the US Government. This will take time to get in to the POLLS, it sinks Romney, if he was Reagan or Bush 43 then he might have used his comments as a benefit to get the base of the Republican Party OUT to vote, but Romney was always the default Nominee for the Republicans. The liberal elite media will force these comments down Romney's throat in till November, not every day that a Candidate sinks his own Campaign in such a manner, lesson for future Candidates, never assume your not being taped.

Romney and a Palestinian State

Guardian: Reports more comments from Romney off the record fundraiser, the article notes the following on Romney views of the Israeli/Palestinian conflict, " ..he was unlikely to pursue, as president, the creation of a Palestinian state, warning that Iran would use it as a base for attacks on Israel. ".

Lets Get Real:

The elite media has and will go bonkers over these off the record comments, in any other context it would help with the Jewish vote, but its mixed up with Romney's comments that 47% of Obama's voters are getting welfare. This blog had written off Romney a few days ago, nice to see the uber liberal media catch up with this blog. The Chicago Re-Elect Committee has done it job, it has sunk the Romney Campaign, They have taken down their man, its just matter of how big Obama wins, the Democrats now have the Oval secure, thus it time in pure political terms to focus on Congress, if the Republicans hold the House as expected and a close Senate then the Obama Agenda is dead on the Hill even before a 2nd term starts. Thus Democrats need to place money on House Seats that have gone Democratic before and secure those Senate Seats that tend to go to Republicans. Hat off to the Oval and the Chicago Team, they WON.

Why Romney LOST - 2012 Race

Telegraph: Reviews by Governor Romney will lose in November, the blog states the following, " ..Romney never had a chance in the first place. This election was won in the spring, when the Obama campaign effectively bombed the Romney campaign on the runway. ".

Lets Get Real:

Those Republican Candidates for the House and the Senate have to distance themselves from the Romney Campaign, it does not matter that Romney was RIGHT, the uber main stream media will use his remarks in till election day to hit him over the head. POTUS could run naked around the White House and declare himself a Demi God, and the press could be critical of any Romney reaction. Thus the Republican Congressional candidates have to save their now necks, the Republicans need to control the House to prevent to much of Obama's destructive policies. Also Democrats should remember that in 2016 that it wont be Obama running, both Parties will have Primary fights and after 8 years of Obama the US voter could turn hard right. Yes folks this blog is looking at 2016 NOW, never to early to start folks.

Romney and the Welfare State

BBC News: Reports on Governor Romney's comments that 47% of US voters are on Government handouts, the Governor stated the following, " There are 47% who are with him [Mr Obama], who are dependent upon government, who believe that they are victims, who believe the government has a responsibility to care for them, who believe that they are entitled to health care, to food, to housing, to you-name-it... ".

Lets Get Real:

In the view of the uber liberal/left wing press the Governor has finished his Campaign, what one could say is that Governor Romney has to late spoken the truth to the US voter. The Democrats needs people on welfare, they Dems would never get elected if people did not have their HANDS OUT for government money. The Republicans/Conservatives want to give people tax cuts, they want people off welfare and earning, they want people to be J.R EWING, not some on the Government pay roll. This speaking of truth has come to late, the RNC should have been harder edge, the Romney team should have gone for Obama at their Convention, told the US voter that a 2nd Obama term would make the US a welfare State. That they failed to take this chance, and to make the election about Obama, this is the reason why they will lose in November.
