The New York Times: Reports on comments by President Obama that there would be up and downs in US unemployment. What the Oval can not afford is for the Congressional Budge Office to be right, if US unemployment starts to go up then Obama is finished, using the pill as an attack on Republicans wont get him re-elected if US unemployment goes up to 9%. The perfect nightmare for the Oval would be if the US Supreme Court threw out ObamaCare, then the US economy looked like it was reversing, then if Spain needed a bailout, this would make Obama look like Jimmy Carter Mark 2. Also lets lot not forget Israel, if Israel attacks Iran then everything is in the air, as a wise UK PM once stated to a junior Minister, events, events, events, it’s the X factor of politics.
A look at the Politics of the United States and the UK. The Foreign Policies of both countries and how they behave in the International Community.

One Nation Conservatism vs. The Thatcherism
BBC News: Reports on the release of documents from the first year of the Thatcher Era under the thirty year rule. In the documents former Conservative Prime Minister Harold Macmillan calls on Lady Thatcher to do a U - Turn on her economic polices, to return to the polices of past Conservative Governments. In other words to return to failed economic polices of past Labour and Conservative Governments that lead the UK to the Winter of discontent, that allowed the Trade Unions to run amok and for the dead not to be buried. The Thatcher Governments had to break the Unions, in the end Thatcher broke the National Union of Mineworkers, the very same union that bought down Edward Heath in the 1970s. After the Trade Union reforms that New Labour didn’t remove the UK is in a better position to come out of its present economic crisis.
