The Face of a King - King Richard III

BBC News: Reports on the reconstructed face of King Richard III of England, after his remains were confirmed today. 

Lets Get Real: 

Thus folks what to do with the remains of the King, and folks he was a King of England, there is the idea that he should be buried locally, this should not happen, he should be taken to London and buried with past Kings and Queens of England.   The evil nature of the King was a Tudor Construct, they were the Masters of spin, they make New Labour look like rank seconds, a King should be buried in London, it would be the right thing to do, also it would get the crowds in, win win as we say today, a King of England no matter his character was still a KING, therefore folks we should demand that he be honoured as a King. 

The Hillary Clinton Record - NYT

The New York Times: Reports the following on the record of Hillary Clinton as US Secretary of State under President Obama, " ..a dogged diplomat and a sometimes frustrated figure who prized her role as team player, but whose instincts were often more activist than those of a White House that has kept a tight grip on foreign policy. ". 

Lets Get Real:

In other words folks you can start to think of Hillary 2016, even  before Clinton is out of the door and Senator Kerry takes over the Clinton camp wants to distance itself from the Obama Oval, in other words they see dark clouds in the future, from the Middle East to Korea, they must fear that Israel and the US will fall out big time over Iran, that Israel will take action and that the Obama Oval will be lukewarm in its support, also North Korea is on the blackmail road again, thus the US will have to feed the poor people of North Korea while its Government spends money on rockets.    In the shape of Bill Clinton, you have one of the best political thinkers in the business, he must assume that Obama's poll ratings will be in the tank or bad enough that Democrats will need some distance between the nominee and the Oval.   If Obama goes down the Neville Chamberlain road of Appeasement when it comes to Iran it could hurt the Democratic nominee in 2016, the Jewish vote in Florida could come out big for the Republican Nominee, also POTUS will not be on the ticket, thus the large African - American vote can not be counted on, it did not turn out in 2010 for the Mid Terms, thus folks, the election of 2016 might not be like 2008 and 2012, never fight the last election folks, its a dangerous game, if things go sour for Obama expect the Clinton camp to say if she had stayed the result would have been different, the Clintons play to win folks, they will do what it takes, this will not be 2008 again, the Clintons will win this time, the big old dog will be back in the White House, and Hillary will be in the Oval. 

Appeasement of the Obama Administration - Iran

Guardian: Reports on a speech by VP Biden, the VP stated the following on Iran, " is prepared to hold direct talks with Iran amid the standoff over its nuclear ambitions.. ".

Lets Get Real: 

As this blog stated when covering the start of Obama's 2nd term speech, any President who uses Peace in our Time is following the path of 1930s Appeaser Neville Chamberlain,  Iran has made it clear that it wants the bomb, it has shown its heel to so many times to POTUS one would think that the Oval would get the message.   This is the real face of Obama, he will appease Iran and then North Korea, it is time for Israel to hit Iran before it become a nuclear armed power, via its own efforts or with the help of North Korea.   The Oval has shown itself weak when it comes to the Arab Spring, it threw a Western supporting ally in Egypt under the bus, it has been weak in the support of Israel, it has allowed thousands of deaths in Syria, it has allowed Middle East to get quite hot over the last few years.  Obama's weakness like Chamberlain will lead to WAR. 

Corruption Scandal in Spain - EU

BBC News: Reports that Spanish PM Mariano Rajoy has denied being corrupt, after allegation of back handers for building contracts. 

Lets Get Real:

If your asking the people to go through tough austerity you have to be cleaner than cleaner, if the people think you are living the hight life through corruption while they in essence starve you will have demonstrations and riots on the streets, thus the reaction of the Spanish people.  On the other hand the left liberal elite will have a field day with this story, if a right wing Party is in power expect any story to have a negative slant, that is just the way it works folks.   One suspects that Mr Rajoy is a goner, just a matter of time before the Party replaces him, Political Parties do not like voter losers, and Mr Rajoy looks like a big time voter lose, thus the wheels of democracy are moving folks, one finished Spanish PM. 

Hagel Confirmation fight - 2nd Obama Term

Telegraph: Reports on the first day of the confirmation hearing for Senator Hagel to be the next US Defence Secretary, the article notes the following, " .. fumbled questions about America’s stance towards Iran Thursday, as he struggled through a Senate confirmation hearing. ".

Lets Get Real:

Thus folks not a good start, but the former Senator should get through, thus far this blog has not heard of any Democratic Senators will vote against him, also a President should have his choice at State and Defence, if any Democrats come out then it might change the outcome.   It not 100% that Hagel will get through, Senator Tower, the choice of Bush 41 failed to pass the Senate.  Lets see if the Jewish lobby and the those on the left can block the confirmation, those that support Israel are afraid that Hagel is soft on Iran, while the left has not forgotten his chosen remarks about a gay US Ambassador.    The Oval might need to spend some political capital to get this through, but it should be enough, in less Hagel does a major mistake over the next few days. 

The Syrian Card - Middle East 2

Guardian: Reports that Syria has threatened to respond to yesterdays Israeli attack, the article notes the following, " Syria may respond to Israeli air strike, says ambassador ".

Lets Get Real:

One can see the Tehran Regime telling the President Assad that the only way that his regime can stay on is to attack Israel, this could cause divisions between the rebels, force those on the sidelines to support the Regime.  A regional war would be bloody, and would be a great for the Tehran Regime to get the West to focus on Syria while it develops the bomb.    A Israeli - Syrian War would force the Oval to support Israel, this would not go down well with extreme liberals, also it would dash any chance of talks between the US and Iran, Iran would say it would not talk while Israel was fighting Syria.  A WIN - WIN for Iran, no talks and it gets to increase it chances of getting the bomb.  Thus its in Western interest for the Assad Regime to fall quickly, the more there is a delay the more chance that Iran can play games.   Next few weeks could be very dangerous folks. 

Israel vs. Syria, Russia and Iran - Middle East

BBC News: Reports that Syria has complained to the UN over the Israeli attack over its borders, while the attack has come under critical attack from Russia and Iran. 

Lets Get Real: 

The Russians need to keep the Assad Regime in power, the Assad family has been a close ally of Russia for years, since the days of the Cold War, the Russians have their only warm water naval base in Syria, they can not afford to lose it, while Iran needs Syria as a access to Lebanon and thus to attack Israel.   As Syria is a state of Civil War, the Israeli Government has to keep a 24 hour look out for the Syrians giving weapons of mass destruction to its terrorists allies, thus Israeli intelligence Mossad will be on the ground, they will be sharing info with the CIA  and MI6.   It can be expected that there will be more Israeli attacks as the Assad Regime falls apart and its loses control of its WMD's, also Iran might want to muddy waters by having Syria attack Israel, thus force Israel to respond, this could set off Gaza again, and this could develop in to a regional war, while Iran gets closer to the bomb.   The Middle East is hotting up folks, the new US Secretary of State, Secretary Kerry will have his hands full when he takes over on Friday from Secretary Clinton.
