BBC News: Reports on the Republican Debate in New Hampshire, the winner the article states was Governor Mitt Romney, while the rest of the Candidates attacked each other, Governor Romney attacked President Obama’s record. The State of New Hampshire is a LOCK for Romney, the question is how much he wins by, and who comes second, if the win is double digits this will be good for the Romney, also if Congressman Paul comes second, on the other hand, should the win be in single digits and Santorum comes second the review will be different, it could allow Santorum to confirm that he is the main Conservative challenger to Romney. Tuesday is very important folks, it could in many respects conform Romney as the Republican nominee or create a long race for the nomination between Romney and Santorum.

US to the Rescue = Iranians Hostages!
The New York Times: Reports that the US Navy freed Iranians held hostage by Pirates in the Gulf. This is good on many fronts folks, the Somali pirates in the region will have to careful in case they get the US Navy on their backs, the Tehran Regime will see that the US will take action, its small fry when looking at the tensions between the US and Iran, but it’s a message. The question is will it be heard in Tehran, or are they looking for a conflict, the US and UK will have Naval resources in the region when Iran has its 2nd Naval exercise in the Gulf, when the EU places oil sanctions on Iran and the US banking sanctions come in to effect the Tehran Regime might close the Strait of Hormuz, if that happens the Pirates of the region will be seen as happy hour by the forces in the Region. Watch this space folks, something has to give, and it wont be the West.
Naval Moves - Iran, US and Israel
Guardian: Reports that Iran is to have another military exercise after the EU is expected to impose sanctions on Oil out of Iran, this is countered by a joint exercise by the US and Israel. Folks this could get very serious quite fast, if the Tehran Regime thinks that it could fall due to the lack of revenue they might think WHY NOT? They might think President Obama is weak and would rather appease them, that would be a mistake, this is an election year, the President can not afford to appease Iran, in many respect he does not have a choice, Israel is clear, any real chance than Iran will go nuclear then Israel will hit Iran. The only way to prevent a Middle East War is to place heavy sanctions on Iran, make them stop any military nuclear development, thus folks someone has to give, and its has to be Tehran, the Tehran Regime might be starting to trust its own PR, that would be a bad mistake for Tehran and the Middle East.
Royal Navy to Persian Gulf - Iran
Telegraph: Reports that HMS Daring is being sent to the Persian Gulf as tensions raise with Iran. It can be argued folks that the Tehran Regime is playing games, its currency is going through the floor due to the sanctions from the US and in the future the EU, the Regime will have to use its reserve of dollars, there will have to be cuts in it spending to keep money in the bank as its most basic. Any attempt to close down the Strait of Hormuz by Iran would be an attack on the West and more important on China, the US and UK and others would take military action, of course this might be what Iran wants, this would allow it to then attack Iraq or send terrorists to attack Israel, thus divert attention from its nuclear plans, it only needs for someone to make a mistake for this to get out of hand folks.

New Hampshire Polls - RCP
RCP: Reports on its average of the New Hampshire polls, leading is Governor Romney on 40.0%, while Congressman Paul is on 18.7%, while way back is Newt Gingrich on 11.3%. Thus folks NH is a lock for Romney, Santorum in the average only has 4.3%, of course there might be an upswing for Santorum in NH, but due to the vote being on Tuesday, and the need for a good field operation to get the vote out it can be argued that Santorum should use his new money in South Carolina, if Romney can take SC then this race is over folks. If the Conservatives want to stop Romney they have to spend their Super Pac money in SC in support of one candidate, they have to pick, very short time folks. It has been argued that SC is the firewall for Conservatives to stop Romney, well folks the time has arrived, time for the Conservatives to pick a Candidate, Santorum, Perry, Gingrich, otherwise time to get on the Romney train.
Greece and the Eurozone Crisis
Guardian Live - Euro: Reports on the reaction from the public sector to the calls from the Greek Government for more austerity, the article states the following, “ ..union and business leaders are reacting badly….that Greek people must accept further wage cuts and the loss of hard-won labour rights,…”. The Greek Government has to decide what is more important, the Greek people or the EU, they are not the same thing, any more austerity and you could have civil disorder on the streets, even a Coup by the Greek military. The Greeks milked the system when it things were good, NOW things are very bad, they have to think about GREECE first, the EU afterwards if at all, it would be better for Greece to be out of the Euro but still in the EU. The bailouts could be then be pushed to protect the civic order of Greece, otherwise all this money is going to the bankers, and those that are suffering are the Greek people. This cant go on forever folks, something has to give, and soon.

Thus folks, we have Greece with its hand out for 130 billion Euros, now Italy with its new Government has seen bonds pass the 7% mark and bank Shares suspended. The festive upswing didn’t last folks, lets see when the 1st Emergency EU meeting is called, there needs a great grand plan folks, so far little from the EU leadership.
