The people of Mariupol are going through HELL, the Russians bombed a maternity Hospital yesterday, who in their right mind bombs a hospital, the Russians even LIE about it, the Russian Foreign Minister stated that the Ukraine Army was there, there was no military there in the footage from the site, the Russians are creating a FALSE REALITY, and what is sad is that the clever Russian people are buying in to it, the Putin Regime has closed down ALL free news media, only what the Russian Defence Department is reported, it is illegal to use the word WAR and INVASION, it seems the old KGB in Putin has come out in full force.  The question is who and what is next, there is always a target in the mind of monsters like Putin.  The people of Ukraine are BRAVE.

The above shows the importance of doing a lot of reading in a WAR CONTEXT, if you had read the previous post you would have thought it was time to go in to the nuclear bunker, as the  ABOVE shows the IAEA has given it the ALL CLEAR.  On the other hand the Russians if they take over nuclear plants should know how they work, the WEST does not need a nuclear accident like Chernobyl again, it was bad enough 1986 and helped in the fall of the USSR.  As Russia is a nuclear power one would have thought that they would have experts on hand to take over the duties of others who work at plan.  One has to assume that Putin did not think about this before starting the WAR.

It seems the Russian Bear is keeping its word about humanitarian corridors but is making its point with Mariupol, it seems that the Russians want to send a message, it can destroy whole cities if its demands are not meet in the talks between Ukraine and Russia, also it needs to take Mariupol before it can go on to Odessa Port, the economic line of the Ukraine State, if the Kiev Government lose Odessa they will have to export on the road, thus damaging the economy.  The Russians are also getting hurt by the Western sanctions on them, the Kremlin has called it an economic WAR, thus it needs to win in the Ukraine and fast, and thus will use any means it has to WIN.  One hopes the people of South Ukraine can hold out, it will be a long hard WAR, the winner standing is the one who can keep standing up.

This is a serious development, all the World needs now is for there to be radiation released from Chernobyl, that US and the UK has to place pressure on the Russians to allow the Ukraine Government to FIX the problem, this is not the type of issue to play games with, the Biden Oval and Boris Johnson should be on the phone to the Kremlin and demand that they either allow the Ukraine the problem or allow Western powers to send in expert to to fix the problem.  Of course this could be a devious ploy by the Russians to force the WEST to not to supply lethal aid to the Kiev Government, the Russians play dirty when it comes to WAR.  On the WHOLE the Russian Army has shown that it is slow and inept, and Putin MASTER PLAN has failed.  The weather is getting bad, and the Russians could face the same problems Germany had in its invasion of Russia in 1941, faulty equipment not working due to the weather, the trouble of feeding its troops, and the long slow slog of surrounding Kiev and other Cities.  It can be stated that Putin ha really messed this up.

The UK Government has been bounced in to this, it would not look good if the US banned Russian OIL and and its closes Partner did not follow, this blog expects a gradual reduction in our import of Russian oil and gas, the economy will need time to process this development, the EU will be a bind, as stated Germany, Italy and Netherlands get a big part of their oil and gas from the Russians, they will look like they are appeasing Russia, if they do not follow suit, also the Kremlin might cut off the products anyway as away to react to the news from the US and the UK.  One can expect barrel of OIL to reach highs not seen in years, the Russians it can be postulated can sell the products to China, China is a growing economy with huge energy demands, also they will get a discount as RUSSIA needs the money.  How long can Putin keep the WAR going in the Ukraine.

Thus the Oval has finally ACTED, banning Russian oil will cause prices to go up in the US, and with the Mid Terms coming up, thus oil price hikes that the US voter will not like, but the Oval can fairly say that this helps the Kiev Government against the Russian invasion.  The threat from Russia to cut off exports to the WEST is a empty threat, they need the money and Europe needs the oil gas, the UK not so much but then we have our own oil and gas fields.  The UK will NOW come under pressure to join the US, the is will happen in short order, while the gaze will now be on Europe, Germany, Italy and the Netherlands will have to decide, is a life of a Ukrainian more important than Western consumption of Oil.  Russian in economic and cultured terms has become the number 1 rogue nation, back to the COLD WAR 2, I missed you!

The Russians are playing a PR game, they want to show the people at HOME, that they are the good guys and that NATO and the Kiev Government are the bad actors!  Thus they promise safe corridors and then start to shell, how many of these incidents does it take for that suppose empathetic Joe Biden, President of the United States, does the empathy of Biden end at the water, if so he should tell people that his only concern is that for the American voters, and more so in the Mid Terms coming up in November.  The Poles have the planes, old fashioned Soviet types that the pilots of the Ukraine can fly, the end deal is that the Poles get new planes from the US.   This move would counter the Russian THREAT, and allow the Ukraine to fight back against the Russian threat.  Wake UP Mr President, sometimes you do not get the chance to chose when you LEAD.
