Lets Get Real:

The rest of the EU should be worried by Spain, all Countries within the EU have areas who think they should become an independent Nation.   The EU would fall apart if there were a number of areas that declared they were free of Central control, with Greece and Brexit the EU has enough problems, it should be firm that it will only deal with central governments and that new countries will not be admitted to the EU.  The Madrid Government should first send in the Police to arrest those that have pushed Catalan in to this latest crisis, then and only then if that does not work should the Army be sent in, it should be the last resort, but it has to be an option.   Interesting days ahead in Spain. 

Catalan New Nation, How Long ? - EU Crisis

BBC News: Reports " The Catalan regional parliament has voted to declare independence from Spain, while the Spanish parliament has approved direct rule over the region. "

Lets Get Real:

As this blog suggested last week the Spanish Government should read the riot act in Catalan, place those Independence leaders who pushed this claim forward in jail for treason.   The Madrid Government has to show firmness, no talks, no getting the EU in, that would open the flood gates to other areas wanting their freedom.   The EU as a body politic can not cope with other poor nations wanting to be part of the EU gravy train. The German tax payer will revolt if has to bail other Countries out, we do not want to see the far right getting more Seats in the German Parliament.  Time for the EU to wake up and go to sleep again, Catalan is more trouble than its worth.

One would not be surprised if President Trump sacks the special Consul investigating the role of Russians in the 2016 campaign, he will argue that the FBI and the whole process has been compromised by the actions of the Democrats at the DNC and the Clinton Campaign.  The FACT that the FBI carried on paying for the Trump investigation after the Democrats had stopped shows that it can be postulated that the D.C establishment was out to get Donald Trump from the start.   The Democrats should be asked, who knew when and why, was their any links between the Russians and the Democrats.   This is why the political parties agreed that the independent consul was more a problem than it was worth, POTUS could play this news in to the sacking of the Special Consul.

It has taken the BBC long enough to do a story on this, it broke late early this morning.   The Trump Oval will be ALL over this story, it will be interesting to see how the other news networks deal with this story, will they even run it, one would not be shocked if they buried the story, as it does not fit THEIR agenda.   One hopes the FBI has investigated the links between the Clinton Campaign and this opposition research, who knew what when, and why did the FBI take it as 100% truth if it knew it was done by the Democrats.    This smells even worse than the allegations against Trump.

The HARD remainers such as the Guardian/BBC News will use any issue to attack Brexit, they do not seem to care any more about being balanced, they are so in love with the EU that they would rather be run by the EU.   The left wing media has to be held to account, they do represent what the majority of the UK voters want, they want out of the EU, and in fact would prefer a HARD BREXIT.   The HARD remainers want the cancer of the EU to be stuck to the UK post Brexit, let us hope that the HARD Brexit supporters in the Conservative party hold the PM to the wants of the UK voter, out and fast if possible.

There is only one show in town that matters in D.C and it is called Donald Trump.  Over the past few days the Donald has been in a battle with a widow of a  US Soldier, the liberal press has been loving it, what would Anderson Cooper do with two hours of air time if he did not have the Donald, Oh yes REAL REPORTING, that seems to have gone out of fashion on CNN.   The blog is calling for the return of fair and balance in the shape of FOX NEWS, the liberal/Media, that includes the paper press and CNN/BBC News is no longer challenged by Fox News, they just slam Trump, they do not care any more to show any balance.  BAD DAY FOR THE PRESS.
