The Power of Three - Doctor Who Review

Doctor Who News Page:  Reports that the good Doctor was the top Drama of the day on BBC 1, the episode had 5.49 million views ( the overnight ratings ).

Lets Get Real: 

The threat in this episode was a plot device to look at how Amy and Rory deal with their real lives when not travelling with the Doctor, how the Doctor can not let them go, one should  never have the Doctor as a house guest, he will drive you bonkers.   It was great to see the Doctor doing domestic and going up the wall, painting the fence, doing the garden, playing tennis via the net, and of course his football skills.   The black boxes were fun, shows how humans can get used to most things, well the British can, even Lord Sugar used them, someone got fired, that was fun.  Also it was a nod  to have Jemma Redgrave play the daughter of the Brig, nice to see UNIT back under the control of a Stewart.   It was good to see Brian, father of Rory ask the real tough question of the Doctor, what happened to other companions, some left, some got left behind, some died.   Thus of course next week folks, the end of the Ponds.  A cracking episode folks, shows you how little boxes can turn you off, and also on, not sure about the science, but loved the concept. 

Afghanistan Front News

MOD: Has announced the name of one of the two UK Soldiers to die in Afghanistan on Friday in a non combat incident, the Soldier was " Sergeant Jonathan Eric Kups, of the Royal Electrical and Mechanical Engineers (REME)  ".  Our thoughts are with the family of Sergeant Kups.

MOD: Reports that a 2nd Soldier has died in Afghanistan in a non combat incident today, the Soldier was from the " 28 Engineer Regiment, attached to 21 Engineer Regiment ".  Thus since 2001 the UK has lost 432 of its Armed Forces Personnel in Afghanistan, of that total it has lost 390 in combat/hostile action, while 42 have died due to illness, accidents and other incidents. 

What ABOUT IRAN Mr President ? - Obama and Israel Advert

Lets Get Real:

Israel has to decide can it afford to trust President Obama, after he gets re-elected, there is limited pressure Israel can place on the Obama Oval.   Thus time for the Israeli Government not to wait, the security of Israel can not be left to a Chicago Pol, time for the Israel PM to act when it comes to Iran.

Telegraph: Reports the latest prospects of an Israeli strike on Iran, " ..speculation of an Israel attack over the next few weeks has faded in recent days ".

Lets Get Real: 

This of course could be the Israeli Government wanting to miss direct Tehran and the Oval, it is not what they Israel says but what they do, as the article notes Israel held a snap military exercise on the Syrian border, this could test how the Israeli forces react to Iran using its Syrian Regime as a way to hit Israel, this move would help the Assad Regime, as the Syrian people would have to choose between fighting each other or their hated enemy the Jewish State of Israel.   Keep an eye on this area folks, it could blow up at any time, recall 1981 and 2007 folks, the Oval heard the news of an Israeli attack on the news. 

Romney HATES Old People - Obama/Biden TV Advert

Lets Get Real:

As noted folks, the Democrats get in the gutter, scaring the older generation, the Romney plan would protect the benefits of the older generation, it wants to deal with future generations.   The present system will fail, an older generation and limited younger tax pool.    The Uber liberal rich do not care about the old people, they scare them, and when the tea bags hit the fan they will be protected behind their security, low down attack but effective folks, that is the Chicago way folks.

Lets Get Real:

This is a great Advert folks, it tells the truth to younger voters, that to protect Medicare for the older generation it will have to change for future generations, the Dems will tell OAP's that the Republicans will take away Medicare from them, its a lie, but an effective lie, the Dems play in the gutter and win folks.   At the end of the day TRUTH is not something a fading Empire can take, its people want to the lie to be the truth, thus they will walk over a financial cliff and still think its unfair.   They have been told folks, they are just not going to listen.  This is why Obama gets a 2nd term.
