Lets Get Real:

The Kyiv Government has to take a risk and move its troops from the North down to the South to protect Mariupol from being taken by the Russians, as the above shows if the Russians take Mariupol the KREMLIN can declare victory and partition Ukraine, like South and North Korea, the KYIV Government must throw everything it has to prevent such a move, as the Kremlin Plan A has failed, Putin could not take Kyiv and Russians Forces are being pressed and attack at they retreat.  The problem faced by Kyiv if they move troops from the North to the South the Russians could come back to attack the North, Putin has drafted another hundred and thirty thousand plus more conscripts, the Russians have shown they do not care about the welfare of their men, thus they will throw young Soldiers in to the fight if it helps them with their plan in the South.  The next few days and weeks could be very dangerous for the the Ukraine.  The Russian - Ukraine War has a long way to go.

Putin is trying to con the West the he will STOP the gas to the West, he cannot do that, the Russian economy would founder and Putin could not afford to carry on with his WAR in the Ukraine.  The above is KREMLIN move to see if it can split the West on the issue of gas and its support for the Ukraine.  One does wonder if Putin is that out of it, that he only sees what he wants to see and cannot accept that the WAR was a massive mistake.  If Russia cuts off the GAS the European economy would take a major blow, but it would show that the West could not be blackmailed by Russia.  The West should still pay for its gas through using DOLLARS or EUROS, if the Russians have a problem, then its their fault, they invaded the Ukraine and NOW they are paying the political price.

Lets Get Real:

The above shows that Putin is quite willing to kill many more of the people of the Ukraine and also face the losses of his own Soldiers, the idea that Putin and Russia area interested in talk shows that this is a lie.  The Kremlin is trying to deflect with the talks in Turkey, it wants to give the impression that it is willing to talk, the truth being that Putin is not getting full facts from his staff because they afraid of him, so he might be thinking that the WAR is going well, that would show that Putin has lost the plot, a trait he shares with Adolf Hitler.  As long as NATO and the US keep supporting the KYIV Government they cannot lose, as to can they win, that is a different matter, the Ukraine Forces are limited, while Russia has the biggest army in Europe and can draft more people.  This winner of this WAR will be the last State standing.

The NATO Secretary General added further that he expects the Russians to move their troops to the East were they have been successful so far.  The Russians cannot be trusted, the Kyiv delegation in talk with the the Russians in Turkey have stated that that they are optimistic, while the Russians in Moscow have been very negative, also the Russians are increasing the bombing of Ukraine Villages, Town and Cities.  The Russians and the Kremlin might be playing the LONG GAME, hoping that the West, well the news channels get bored with the story and it falls from the top of the news.  That might have happened if the WAR was outside Europe, but it is not, it is in the heart of Europe, and Ukraine is a democratic State facing the might of Russia.   Also the WEST is worried that Putin will use WMD, that would take the WAR to a new level and drag in the West.

White House: Reports on the readout of a call between POTUS and the President of the Ukraine, " President Biden spoke today with President Zelenskyy of Ukraine about the ongoing work by the United States and its allies and partners to deliver military, economic, and humanitarian assistance to Ukraine and to impose severe costs on Russia for its brutal aggression against Ukraine. The leaders discussed how the United States is working around the clock to fulfill the main security assistance requests by Ukraine, the critical effects those weapons have had on the conflict, and continued efforts by the United States with allies and partners to identify additional capabilities to help the Ukrainian military defend its country. In addition, President Biden informed President Zelenskyy that the United States intends to provide the Ukrainian government with $500 million in direct budgetary aid. He also reviewed the additional sanctions and humanitarian assistance announced last week. President Zelenskyy updated President Biden on the status of Ukraine’s negotiations with Russia.  "

Lets Get Real:

As long as the West, in this case the US supports the KYIV Government in all of its needs the Russians can never win, of course the problem is that you cannot trust the word of the Russians, they have stated that they saw nothing new in the talks happening in Turkey and also they have increased the bombing of the towns in the Ukraine.  Does Putin have the will and backbone to go all the way, that is the real worry, will he use WMD in Ukraine, and should he do that what will be the reaction of the US, NATO and how will the people of Russia feel about going over that red line, there is no way Putin could keep that a secret, in this modern age.  One can postulate that even POTUS knows that if Russia goes over that line, that POTUS would have to react, a European War is one thing, the Russians using, WMD, in the form of chemicals or nuclear would make the Biden Oval and 10 Downing Street react, the question is what they will do and is that threat been made clear to Putin and Kremlin officials.  The WAR of attrition will take time, while that is going on, the Russian economy is in the toilet and the people of Russia will feel like they have become the number one rogue nation on the planet, will they support that over the long term, and the sanctions will hit hard over the days, weeks and months.  Also the Russian Army has shown itself to be inept, will the young men and women of Russia answer the draft call, for a war that is going very bad, just think of the protests in the US during the Vietnam War, also people injured in the War will start to come back, their stories will be heard even is whispers in Russia.  A bad war led to the end of the Imperial Russia and the death of Tsar Nicholas 11 and his family, will Putin risk that, or has has lost the plot? .

Lets Get Real:

Any leaders needs someone who will tell them the TRUTH, the unvarnished TRUTH, the reality around the CROWN.  If Putin is being told untruths about the War by his officials, he should A. find that OUT, B. do something about it, C. in the case of Putin, he needs to get his troops out of Ukraine and FAST.   The Kremlin should agree to the demands of the KYIV Government, it is a good deal and it will be up to the EU and the West to rebuild the Ukraine, it has been costed in economic terms that the damage by the Russians comes out at nearly a hundred billion.  The damage to Russia is great, it losses IN the WAR and loss of credibility with the West and the fact that the Russian economy is in the toilet.  Putin needs someone he likes and cannot fire or kill.

Lets Get Real:

The Russians and Ukrainian sides are talking form different perspectives, are the Russians being their natural gloomy self's or have the Ukrainian side been in the same meetings.  The Russians say nothing has really happened at the talks, thus they are still bombing the Ukraine, while the people on the ground in the Ukraine are seeing further bombing and worse than before.  One can speculate that the Russians are playing a double game, they want some good news, thus the talks, but are sending the real message to their people, that nothing has developed to stop the War.   Of course the Russians might be sending their delegation to talk and waffle on while the Russians bomb Kyiv, to distract the West, who might have to learn  that Russian invasion of the Ukraine will take time, and endless talks as was the case in Bosnia in the 1990s.
